Water Temp: 50 to 56 degree
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Our bass club out o San Francisco had a get together at Sonoma on the 19th. The bite was not great except or one member, Steve Gee, who caught his biggest bass: 10.34Lbs. on a Duh Jig (Don't know size or color or sure, I think Summer Moss 1/4 oz.). Steve was ishing Warm Springs, where the water was a little more muddy. My partner & I ished the main lake, where its a little more green color. My son & his partner went way up Warm Springs and ound clear, cool water & ish. I ished rocky points & coves w/ water alls, rom shallow to 40'. Caught 1 largemouth & smallie in about 5' to 10 ' later in the day ater the sun was out on the rocky points, ish were 1 1/2 lbs, got on 1/4 oz brown Duh jigs w/ Yammie Junebug twin tail trailers. My partner Willie got one 2lb. plus on split shot brown lizard. Steve was "the man" that day, he also caught three more or best weight by ar or the day. Sonoma should bust wide open anytime, i the weather stabilizes.
City: Bay PointTips: Fish slow and no need to get up too early.

Report: Started o at Yorty throwing cranks at the bank, that did'nt work. So I put on a aithul grub and BAM! A atty 1 pounder. trew it again and a large and in charge 11 incher smacked my grub. Then i decided to catch a blue gill so I tied on my good ol' mini tube jig and BAM! almost pulled the rod out o my hands, it was a 3 inch bluey. then i ended the day throwing my aithul grub and nailed a 10 incher, I ought that ish or a good 4 seconds.

Report: FISHING FOR STEELHEAD HAS BEEN OUTSTANDING. 2 TO 5 FISH DAYS ALL OVER 18 INCHES ARE NOT UNCOMMON. SLOW TROLL A BROKEN BACK REBEL MINNOW (1/4 OZ) ON 8LB TEST ON ANY PART OF THE MAIN BODY ON THE LAKE AND YOU SHOULD BE SUCCESFUL! IF THIS AINT WORKIN FOR YA DRAG A OLIVE OR BLACK WOOLEY BUGGER FLY 2 TO 4 FT BELOW SURFACE, HOLD ON TIGHT DOING THIS ....... I CAUGHT A 5 1/2 LB STEELEY THIS WAY LAST WEEK. GOOD LUCK FOLKS!!!
City: santa rosaTips: SMALL BROKEN BACK REBEL MINNOWS SEEM TO BE GETTING THE JOB DONE MORE SO THAN RAPALA'S ARE. NO DOWN RIGGERS ARE NEEDED THIS TIME OF YEAR, JUST DRAG'EM ON TOP . ALWAYS CHECK YOUR SPEED WHEN TROLLING, YOUR TROLLING SPEED IS BASED ON HOW FAST IT TAKES FOR YOUR LURE TO PERFORM CORRECTLY.
