Report: Fished rom eight to noon without a single bite. Only my second time to this lake, and unless someone can prove that there are bass in there I may not go back. Fished the trees in the back, underwater humps, and some submerged trees in 30t o water. Saw a ew ish on the depthinder, but they were not interested in anything I had to oer. Water Temp: bone numbin
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished rom 10AM to 4PM in my tube. Was extremely oggy and cold. Was wearing 4 pairs o socks and my eet were still a little cold! Stuck a 6lber in the irst 15 minutes on a brown jig. Not a sni ater that. The ish came o a south acing rock wall, about 15 eet deep.
City: Palo AltoTips: The water level is still down 40 eet, so nothing is ishable past the near side o the picnic area. It's also airly muddy. Great time to explore the back endo the lake. The last two times I've ished, I've caught two ish, a 4-14 and a 6 both on brown jigs, both the only strike o the day. I you want more action trysmall purple worms or dark gitzits. I've got more strikes on south acing steep shorelines, and they are much more comortable to ish too. Trout won't getstocked here till March and the crappies are slow.

Water Temp: 68
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fishing was better, but not or me. I saw another two loat tubers get a couple on spinnerbaits in the trees, to about 3 pounds. I loat tubed or most the aternoon and just couldn't get any bass. I ended the day catching at least 50 nice crappie though. They were all schooled up on the surace in the middle o the lake, a ish a cast.
City: Mountain ViewTips: Spinnerbaits and worms in the trees. The best ish I saw caught hit the spinnerbait right at the surace. I tried spinnerbaits, crankbaits, jigs, reapers, and missed and just got bit once.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I ished 11AM - 7PM rom my loat tube Sunday. I mainly stayed near the dam but also tried the island and picnic area cove. Two dinks at the spillway on a split shotted grub were all that came up. I suspect there's more, and bigger, ish in the trees. I also tried deep jigging and cranking with zero results.
City: Mountain ViewTips: Go to Calero!
