Report: We ished rom sun up till sun down the day beore at berryessa, so we decided to check out the bite olsom or a couple o hours the next day. We started around 4:00 and ished until 6:00. I checked an area rom the week beore in the south that usually loads up with ish when it warms up and the water is up. I only got two spots in about 45 min., so we decided to try closer to the launch. Two boats were on the areas I wanted to ish, so I tried an area close, but normally is better in april or may. My girl and I get a double hook up (kind o) her ish was a nice smallie. Mine was a dink, the rip bait I was using was bigger. I only had about 30 min. beore the sun was going to disappear, so I decided to start cranking. I got 5 ish in that 30 min. all o them 1-1.5lbs except 1 that was 2lb. That ish started pulling drag a couple o times. I thought it was alot bigger, but it sure was un to catch. Good luck!
      City: Eldorado Hills

Tips: Two o the ish were caught dragging worms. The others except or one were caught on a crankbait. I it stays warm the ish should explode or awhile. You know until mother nature realizes it never really rained or snowed, and decides to pound us. Good luck!!

Report: ISHED MILDRED WITH 4 " MORNING DAWN ALL DAY. CAUGHT AND RELEASED SEVERAL FISH FROM 2' TO 10' DEEP ALL DAY LONG. Did not even try anything else because the ishing was so consistent. I tried several rigs, dropshot, splitshot, Carolina and Texas rigs and the Carolina worked the best with the 4" worms. I also had luck on a junebug colored 4" keeper worm that I tried later in the aternoon.

Report: Maybe you have noticed that there are no new reports or Clear Lake in the past week. That's because no one has anything to write about! Went to the lake Monday evening and all day Tuesday and caught nothing. Threw everything but Tuna Salad at reeds, docks, points, rocks, underwater humps and channels. The water was clear, no wind, sun beating down. Saw several huge ish cruzing the outer edge o tule points between State Park and Lakeport but they wouldn't take anything. Talked with several other boats with the same story, only one had caught two ih all day lippin' brown jigs into the tules. We tried the same late in the day and my partner had one pick up, but missed the hook set. Oh well, it was still better than sitting in the oice all day.
      City: Chico

      Tips: Try lippin'...I guess.

Report: NICE TO SEE THE LAKE NEAR FULL, SHOULD BE GREAT FOR THE PRO-AM SOON. I CAUGHT ALOT OF FISH DURING MY PRE-FISH. I FOUND MANY PATTERNS WHICH ARE SURE TO CHANGE, BY THE TIME I GET BACK UP THERE. ALL MY BEST FISH CAME FROM IN COMING WATER IN THE PIT & SAC. I'M SURE THIS PATTERN WILL CHANGE SINCE THE HOT WEATHER IS FORCASTED FOR THE NEAR FUTURE. THIS IS THE ONLY PATTERN I AM WILLING TO GIVE UP, AT THIS TIME.IF YOU GO A LONG WAYS UP THESE TO ARMS YOU WILL FIND THE TEMP. CHANGES. SLOW ROLL YOUR BLADE WHITE & WHITE AND ALWAYS KEEP BOTTOM CONTACT, YOU WILL BARELY FEEL THE BITE. 3/4 TO 1oz. SEEM TO WORK BEST
      City: SACRAMENTO

Tips: FIND AREAS UP ARMS THAT HAVE EXTREME TEMP. DIFFERENCES.DEEP DIVING CRANKBAITS THAT SUSPEND CHROME/CHARTREUSE IS A GOOD ONE.
