      Water Temp: 49-51

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: ishing was tough with bites ew and ar between. the ish that we caught were all healthy, though. caught 6 ish between me and my partner. most o the ish wanted slow dragged plastics and the bite was very subtle -- so subtle that we probably had some bites and didn't even realize it. set the hook on that "rubbery" line, you may be surprised. jigs and split-shotting seem to be the ticket right now. (although six ish really isn't much to brag about). small inormal tourney on the 16th, I'll let you know how it goes....

      Water Temp: 45.4--47.9 N

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Started at 11:00 and ished until 6:00 pm, started deep with jigs ( henderson Point ) and then went to Lakeport area and pitched tules and wood, 2-5 eet. Then Rattlesnake or a couple o humps, and then to sea breeze . Great day on the water but skunked, did not get bit . A couple o boats near Lublow point, another hump were having some luck, looked like dropshotting. Another boat near red bud had a nice stringer with minnows. Which reminds me to thank however deleted the earlier entrys on minnows. Whoever wrote those would probably have no problem sight ishing a spawning emale. I personally like the hunt o artiicial baits, color, depth, presentation, ect. I also have no problem with people ishing with live bait and to my knowledge neither does ish and game. I do know o several areas where bass season is closed to allow or the bedding emales to not be disturbed. We should think about that beore we start throwing stones at other people.
      City: Sacramento

Tips: NOT what I did today, nothing on a swim bait, jig, brush -hog,blades, although I ished 90% with the jig and pork. The lake looks great, it elt asleep.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: got up to the lake around 4:00 pm. tried split-shotting a dark worm but couldnt catch anything. moved to the corner o the dam still nothing on the worm. switched to a minnow style plug (Yor-Zuri) silver and blue minnow, irst cast and bam! a 12 inch trout. thats the only ish i caught. not bad considering i was ishing or about 45 minutes. trout are really starting to stabilize in the lake, or the stripers are getting their ill. ish are rising on a consistent basis and isherman are starting to catch a ew more. while i was there, 3 kids ride up next to me on their bike and ask i they can ish next to me. reminds me o when i was a youngster riding my bike up to the lake. i said yes and they came on down. they were throwing everything rom worms, castiac trout and candy on a hook. within 15 minutes one o the boys yells "i got one" and he brings in a 2-3 pound largemouth on a worm. not bad eh.keep the new coming, looks like its just u and me tom.

      Water Temp: cold

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Had a real tough choice this weekend. Work is such that I do not get to ish as much as I like, and I am reluctant to give up any days on the water to attend sports shows. However, I decided to go to the ISE Saturday, and it was worth it to sit in on the round tables and presentations. Great job by all. Now on to my report or Sunday: Thought I would kill them in Old River, since I knew the water would be clearing up and tides would not be too bad. NOT! Fished all day in various areas that have been good the past month or so and only caught 4 small keepers on a rip bait-nothing else worked at all. Conditions looked perect or this time o year, but I could not get them to go. Did have the honor o being schooled in how to catch a ish by Mr. Durbin. I had a total o maybe 8 bites all day, and I ished hard or them.Good luck, and God Bless,Rob T
      City: hal moon bay

Tips: Dunno what to say. The one thing that I did notice was less evidence o bait in the areas I ished, and perhaps this was the one actor I should have been paying attention to. No birds, or they were sitting up in trees, not hunting ish.

Report: I just recently moved to the monterey area and I have been looking or good bass lakes in the area. I ished Coyote resevoir on Wednesday or the irst time and caught 2 nice bass. I was ishing the rocks when I landed a 4 pounder and the other was close to 7. I got them in the mid-day using a 12 inch yodo worm. I also ished it riday and got skunked, although my riend did lose what could have been a lunker, on a purple and chartuese grub. I would appreciate any inormation about the lake. Do they plant trout and when? Knowing inormation about trout plants has caught soem big ish in the past. Also any inormation about other lakes in the area would be appreciated.Scott
