      Water Temp: 53-58

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished from 8-4 Saturday. Started throwin' a shad patterned blade, while my partner used a deep diving crank. We hooked and boated 8 (4 apeice) ...best one 3#s on the crank, the others around 2#s. In the afternoon, I switched to a brown-purple jig, and got a couple more including a 3.5#er. Ended the day with the blade, and nailed the best fish of the day...6.25#s. One of the smaller bucks was already pissin' milt.....impatient little SOB! HAR HAR
      City: SJ

Tips: Slow was the key for both the blades and cranks. We covered a lot of water as the fish seemed somewhat scattered. Got bit from the bank out to about 12ft...although that doesn't mean much cuz we didn't really fish any deeper. Wish I knew where those "Staging Females" are holding!

Report: Fished Basin Bassmasters Club Tourney. Was a beutiul day with a light breeze. I was surprised that we couldn't get bit on reaction baits, but did have a very good day with plastics. The ishing really seemed to pick up when the wind blew. Most o our ish were caught in 10-15 t. o water and hal o the time the ish would hit it on the all. All types o plastics were working. Backs o coves and island tops were best. Caught a dozen ish or so. Won tourney with 12 1/2 pounds. Big ish was 3.3#'s.
      City: roseville

Tips: Keep your line wet. The ish aren't hitting everything thrown at them, but they are there and are very hungry.

Report: Well hit the water at 7am and nothing until 9am on the north end. We headed to the south end and ished the trees. We caught 12 bass in the 2 1/2 - 3lb range and one 12" ish. It was a awesome day or descent size ish. No big ones but who doesn't like nailing 3lbers all day. All but one ish we caught ripping Pointer 100's. The other shaker was caught on a jig. We caught all our ish in the irst 50 yards o the trees. Going way back in there we didn't get bit. Wind was Horrible. Fish were really cloase to the trees and shrubs, ight the wind and rip and you will get bit.
      City: San Jose

Tips: Pointer 100's in the trees. ALl ish were caught in the 3-8' range. Good Luck out there!

Wewere thinking o the Newbass tourney on Sunday, but with allthat pressure were going to pass. We ended up with 18 total, best 7 ish going around 15 lbs. Caught 6 more keepers. Weighed in seven ish or 10.64 lbs. Good enough or 4th. Partners also ished shallow. They had seven or 14+lbs. They ended up taking irst. Top ive teams caught their ish in less than 15t. Those ishing deep didn't do as well.

Report: What a nice St. Patty's day on the lake! Worked assorted crank bait and jigs rom day break until noon to no avail. We switched up to a trout troll and scored 2 nice 2-3 lb Steelhead right in ront o the dam. They both came on the same rod within about 5 minutes o each other. Using a small seps blade with a small repela minnow pattern ollowing. Those steelies are scrappy and we let them back to grow up a bit. Worked a little more or bass late aternoon and they were still stingy. Everyone we talked with was having a SLOW day too. Tough day overall, but love this lake (it was my irst time).

Tried flippin' a jig, spinner baits, rippin', crankin' a firetiger bomber and a craw speed trap, slip-shotted worm, buzz bait. None of these worked. Oh well, it still beat working!! Report: Launched out of the Break yesterday at 7ish. Stayed in the Break and surrounding areas all day til 3pm. Not alot of fish but the ones I did catch were pretty good. Had four for about 15 pounds,a 6,4,3,and a 2. All were caught but one on a red/black jig thrown into tulle clumps in current. The 4 came on a red crankbait in the rocks. Water is still muddy in and around the Break. All the fish were caught with current nearby. I think thats still the key. Didn't get bit in the Break at all.
      City: Brentwood

Tips: With the water warming up, look for transition areas near spawning flats that have current
