Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Hit the water at 2:30 got a late start. Started off at the rock horseshoe and stuck a nice 3lb fish on a jig in 10' of water. Then around 4:30 hit another nice fish on a 5" red shad power worm in 15' of water 2lb fish. Not sure what is happening. Saw a guy on the bank by the large dam catch 4 fish in 45 minutes. Oh well guess it was the line I was using. I will re-spool my rods tonite and get back out there before the Rams play Saturday and see what happens.

Report: Got out there in the kickboat again at about 9:00.hit all points on the opposite side of the dock with a jig until I came up on the second island, no fish. On the way back towards the dock, I hooked a 2 pounder on a sour grape carolina rigged baby brush hog. That was it for the day.

Water Temp: 50-52
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Sorry for the late report but been fishin. Got out late today and launched in the fog at 2pm S.Delta. Fished high slack water on rocky point and caught a couple of split shot fish. went into protected areas out of current and found a good concentration of fish. Caught 18 on cranks. Nothing over 2.5# but lots of fun on the med-lt. G-loomis crankin stick. All the fish were located in a ditch in the back of a cove. Stumbled in to this ditch while fishin late spring and knew i would find them in there someday.
City: danvilleTips: When fishin new area always pay attention to electronics. When I return to the spot many times I shut the electronics off to keep noise down and work off memory, especially in shallow back bay areas.

Report: Hit the lake again today hoping my riend would show up with his boat. Never happened! Ended up ishing the Channel Pt. dock rom about 12:30 - 5:15 this aternoon. Threw blades, jig-n-pig, darterhead, split-shot, spoon, and lipped a crawdad. I caught one ish somewhere between 1:30 and 2:30. It was a 14" and I caught it throwin' a 5" straight-tail purple weenie colored worm on a split-shot rig. Was throwin' it out to deep water (about 15t), then I would drag it. Ater that I lost another 5+ lippin' that same jig-n-pig as I did two days ago and lost that other big ish. This time the hook just popped out as I was wrestlin' him out o the tules. That was all the action all day.
City: AntiochTips: Ya, I'm pretty sure you could get quite a ew ish i you just backed o the points into 15-30t o water and threw a splitshot rig or darterhead. I was throwin' that splitshot rig towards the point into about 15t o water.

Report: I ished Harry's cove most o the day split shotting and drop shooting 4 inch worms and tubes. I also used a Rapala Down Deep Rattlin' Fat Rap. Nothing produced ish. From what I could tell no one else was catching anything accept the occasional trout, I'd say that only two or three o those were caught today. I you want more lake reports and inormation about East Bay lakes, eel ree to visit my web site at BGBAITS.COM.
City: Pleasant HillTips: Split shotting and drop shooting are probably your best bets. 4 inch worms are a good bet.

Report: did my chores this am and hit the water at 1115 AM, ran over to the ort creek coves in the lumber yard and dropped a Big Daddy special down in 35 t and "bang", 1.6 lb spot. moved around a bit and caught 4 more on the "special". A guy moves up on me and I pull o a bit and hit another one, I look back at the guy and he is eyeballing me with some binoculars so done goes the rod tip with the "special" in the water. all ish caught in 28-35 t o water, the surace temp has warmed up a bit, was 53 when I got in and 68 when I pulled out at 230 PM ater busting o a rod at the second guide on another 1.8 spot on a jig over by clickapudi. Lots o olks out today, some 50 rigs were in at Jones Valley. Beautiul warm aternoon, lake moved up to 63 1/3 t with the rain rom last week. Pressure bite again today but the ish were a little more aggressive. All came o gentle slopes with wood around. Took the rod back to the retailer, she wrapped it up to send it o or a replacement. Jones Valley loat is still not repaired and is on the beach meaning you can't tie up on both sides o the loat.

Report: Hit the water around 12:30. Fished all the normal rock areas and only managed to pull 3 fish in the boat by 4:30. Hit one on a brown jig in 20' 2.5 lb fish. Hit a 2lb fish in 20' on a 7" red shad power worm. Then the last fish was a monster. He hit a berkley brown pumpkin i believe in 10' of water. He topped the scales at a tad under 3/4 of a pound to end the day. I can vouch for GLXpro, i was right next to him when he pulled out 2 quality fish.
City: San JoseTips: I can't seem to nail down a solid pattern. Will keep going out til i do.

Report: Fished from 8:30-4:30 today. The bite was fair until noon, then it was very tough the remainder of the day. I could have done lots better, had I not missed so many fish today!! I wound up missing about 5 real good hits. I made up for that by landing 4 nice fish....one pushing 4lbs, 3lbs, 3lbs, and 1.5lbs. I caught 2 of those fish on almost back to back casts after about a 3 hour afternoon lull. 2 came on a purple rodstrainer, and the other 2 came on a purple Zipper grub. Fish were caught in 10-20' of water on rock. Weather was very calm, warm, and sunny after 12 noon. Lake is very low, w/ both islands exposed.
City: San MateoTips: If there is cloudcover and it burns off, slow WAY down and back off the bank a bit. That was the key for me this afternoon. Also used lots of scent.

Report: Fished out of my kickboat today, got on the water at 10:00 went to the rocky point across from the ramp, second cast, stuck a nice 4 pounder slow rolling a 1oz. terminator with a single willow-leaf blade. That was the only one for the day.It was really calm out there till about 12:15 and then I got off the water.

Report: took my oldest so he could catch a largemouth, got in the water a 712AM, 29 degrees and went over(slowly) to Rattlesnake and poked around or a bit, took o to Shag Rock and ound a bunch o ish in 13-26 t o water but couldn't get them going, roamed around anderson isld or a bit as things warmed up and inally went to Konocti or breakast, back on the water at 1130AM and over to Shag Rock again where he dredged up a 4lber on a jig, that got him excited, this was his 5th time out and he was pumped, caught another 3.2 in same area and one other tap. Four other boats working the area, saw two other ish boated, a good 6 plus and a smaller 2 plus by two guys shaking worms in 25 t. pulled out a 430 PM, temp got up to 58 but quickly dropped to 42 at 5PM. The kid is going to be a serious bass isherman now, nut he admittedly loves catching the spots at shasta over the largemouth at clearlake. I think a spring trip to Clearlake will probably change his mind.
City: ReddingTips: ish are sluggish, jigs worked or us, I would wait until the aternoon to go out this time o the year. I used a 5 inch yamamoto twin tail skirted grub on a 3/8 ounce jighead, the hits are very light, wait or the pressure and let the rod load beore u stick'em.

Report: Well, was there rom 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. It was insane. Was hopin' or my riend to show up around noon so we could go out and splitshot some ish out deeper. He never came! So I ended up ishing the Channel Point dock the whole day. Stopped at the boat ramp around noon, but it was loaded with a bunch o kids ridin' around on bikes and no where to ish so went back to Channel Pt. dock. I threw just about anything you could imagine. Spinnerbaits, crankbaits, sot plastics (rigged in every which way!), ripbaits, etc...until I inally decided to just lip the tules around that dock with a jig-n-pig or the rest o the day! I made that decision around 2:30, and I threw the exact same jigs into the same holes in the reeds about 5 times beore I ever got hit around 4:25. I was just watchin' the line loating on top o the water as it sank, and I noticed hte line twitch and I set that hook!! Rod immediatly bent straight over and my drag slipped. Gave that bass just that extra second to dive way back into those reeds. Messed around with it or a good ive minutes beore he got me wrapped up too bad and broke it o. I know it was a 5+. I had my drag a little loser on that reel back at Thanksgiving down in AZ when I was ishin' open water, and I just never messed with it since. I was usin' a 3/8oz black/blue rattlin' jig w/ a black w/ blue lake Zoom Super Chunk trailer. That's all that happened...
City: AntiochTips: Well, i you want numbers, I would suggest back way o the points and throwin' a darterhead or splitshot/dropshot. Get that inesse ishin' goin'. However, i you're lookin' or the biggun', lip the tules with a big jig-n-pig.
