      Water Temp: 60-63

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Second week in a row that I have been there and the lake is full and clear. Last week a shallow running crankbait was the ticket and this week it was the tube. Fish are all the way into the coves and beds can be found everywhere. The wind helped fishing along the windblown banks and we caught a bunch with the largest only a 3 pounder. There is no better time to hit this lake than right now.

Tips: Tubes on a 1/4 darthead worked in 7-10' and when working the coves, many were in only a foot or so of water.

    • Water Temp: 61

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Things are picking up. I was out Tuesday from 8-2. Picked up 5 keeper spots casting to edge and dragging unweighted wacky Senko over rock piles. No weed guard, so even being unweighted, lost plenty of hooks to snags. No luck with drop shot, crank and spinner baits, or a variety of Texas-rigged plastics.

Went out yesterday (4/5) from 4-5:15, caught 3 on drop shot 3" zipper worms, 1 on a wacky Senko. Didn't try other methods this time.

Fish ranged from 12" - 16". 1 small mouth, 1 large mouth, other spots.

      Tips: It's April. Go fish!

    • Water Temp: 54 to 57

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: The bass are staging up to spawn! Fish from the shoreline out to 30' and target the steep edges of spawning area's. There are a lot of fish being caught on mud pie tubes and green pumpkin senkos. Look for a reaction bite on rip baits like Staysee 90's and 100 dd's and 5" swimbaits in trout and shad colors. There have been several spots over 6# caught in the last few weeks and we saw a pic of a 7# largemouth that was caught yesterday.

Tips: Really pick apart the areas you are fishing. It has been a very "spot on the spot" kind of bite

Report: Launched at Lime saddle about 7am, off the lake at noon. Ended up with 22 spotted bass, all on roboworms in 15-25 feet of water. Seems the bass are beginning to wake from the winter slumber. Several spots produced 4-6 fish before we moved on.
      City: Magalia

Tips: We fished Texas rigs, slowly.

    • Water Temp: 64-66

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished from 10:45-2:30 and the bite was great. Caught all fish on reaction baits from 5-15 ft deep.. Biggest fish was a little over 3 and a half. Can't wait to go back
      City: Lafayette

Tips: Carp are spawning everywhere. If you find the carp you won't catch any bass

    • Water Temp: 58-61

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Launched B&w about 8am, fished first set of tules with RedEye Shad in craw/chartr belly for 4 barely keepers. Then pitched brown jig with junebug craw trailer for two more egg carriers, 3&4lbs. Moved to dock and next 2 sets of tules but no takers and the wind was pushing my tracker 185 at a fast drift so we moved up to the island just outside Sycamore. Picked up 4 more egg carriers between the tules and inside weedline, 2,3&4lbers. Moved into Sycamore and had a great senko bite all along the tules and rock wall. Brother also picked up a couple on craw/yellowbelly speedtrap and a couple more on the jigs, but mostly monster shad and blk/red flk senkos. Pretty good day, even with the wind.
      City: folsom

Tips: Not sure if what we did is already well-known or if we were even on the current pattern. jigs pitched to open pockets and cuts gave us our bigger egg carriers. wacky senkos at the tules and cuts gave us lots of action; also continued along the rockwall stretches between tules just popping the senko away from the rocks as it settled. Also, I'd work a few cuts and corners 3-4 times and then my brother would work them behind me and get bit...funny! crankbait bite was good for a few but wasn't really turned on for us yet. Probably just due to our choice of where we worked 'em.

    • Water Temp: 58-62

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Reading the previous report makes me happy that I like to night fish - didn't see another boat after dark. Mike Sperbeck and I hit the lake about 6 pm Fri and immediately each caught our first Senko fish of the year. We found the bite quite good up 'til dark and had a 5 fish limit over 20 lbs. After dark it was hunt and peck - one here, one there. And the bites went from savage hits to just pressure takes. They either wanted a meal, or a tidbit! We worked our way up to the narrows - finding no schools of bass as in previous trips. We did end with a 5 fish limit a tad over 28 lbs and I had big fish at 6 1/2 lbs. Another first for the year - I ended the trip with a beautiful 20 lb channel catfish. You just stand there and hold on to the rod for dear life!!

Tips: We found most bass off the bank at the 10 to 30 foot depth. We did see our first "warming" bass, hanging just under the surface of some docks. They are spooky! We used our usual baits - brown/orange jigs w/Yamamoto trailers, Berkley Havoc baits, and some Netbaits. Did not throw swimbaits this trip. The bite should pop again next week if the weather warms as promised. Overall, many quality bass still seem stationed near deep water - at least in the south end.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Lots of bass caught off shoreline in the narrows and skiers cove area. Out of approximately 20 bass, no spawners were caught, nor were any beds seen in clear water down to 12 feet. All fish caught dropping plastics near the shoreline and fishing the baits slowly back to the boat. Most fish came out of 10-15 foot of water. Not to many solid "hits" but just light pickups that allowed for some weight to be felt at the end of the line. Expect fish to be more active as the water temp continues to rise in the uuper areas of the lake.

    • Water Temp: 61 - 63

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Friday 3-29-13, my buddy and I launched at 9:30 AM from Holland Track Marina about 1 hour after high tide. We made the long run to Mildred Track and fished that area the remainder of the day. Fish were first caught in 2 to 5 ft of water and as the tide moved out, the fished moved out to 5 to 10 ft. My buddy caught most of our 18 fish for the day. All fish were caught on dark colored Senkos rigged wacky style. The biggest fish caught was 3 lb 2 oz. with the estimated weigh of 12 lbs for our best 5.
      City: Pinole

Tips: The fish should be on their beds. However, we only saw cruising fish. Perhaps the fish are so skittish that they were off their beds before we could see them.

    • Water Temp: 58-59

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Found a reaction bite this morning around tulle islands near Franks. My buddy was not greatest caster and had fun catching the bucks so I sought out cranking areas all day. He boated 7, I boated 10, but lost 4 and had 4 followers too. Biggest was 7-1/2 pounder! (Striper though.) I did manage a few spinnerbait fish too.

Tips: There is a reaction bite if you don't mind chasing bucks. Caught spinnerbait fish in sparse tulles. Use Speed traps or BDS 3. color did not seem to matter. They seemed to hit after the bait reached the deep edge of weeds/grass.

      Water Temp: 56-60

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished from 8-noon. Not a nibble and by 10 and I was getting ready to again call Folsom my least favorite lake when I gave up looking at my graph full of fish and moved back into a cove on the south fork and tossed the Staysee 90. Ended up with 8 in the next 2 hours, biggest was a 3. Did see some fish on beds in 60 degree water. Glad I put down the Dropshot and went reaction. Caught fish in coves and along rock walls.

Tips: One day isn't a pattern but happy to be able to contribute a report where I figured something out. Jerkbaits in 10-12 ft. All hit on the pauses.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I shore fished Lime Saddle from 7am to 9am. Ended up with 11 spots, all small, 12-14", no larger ones today, missed 3 hits. All caught on various colors roboworms.

    • Water Temp: 62-65

    • Water Temp: 57 - 60

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Tuesday, 3/26/13 - Sorry for the late report. It took me a long time to get registered to submit reports. My buddy and I fished both the East and West sides of the lake. The water temperature on the East side was 59 - 60º which was about one to two degrees warmer than the West side. Crank baits, Senkos, and swim baits were tried but essentially all fish were caught drop-shotting 6 inch Roboworms. Of the 18 fish we caught, a few more of these fish were caught on the East side. Most fish were caught in 5 -10 feet of water which compared to two weeks ago is shallower water. All three species of bass were caught. My buddy caught the largest that was a real nice 4 lb 2 oz small mouth. Our best five fish weighted 12 lbs 13 oz.
      City: Pinole

Tips: In the areas that we fished, we looked but didn’t find any bedding fish. With the full moon, I thought a lot of bedding fish would be found. The fish appeared to be in the pre-spawn stage and moving up. The water needs to come up a few more degrees to start the spawn in full

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Bank fished east delta today from 7-11am. Caught 7 greenies to 3.5lbs & two bonus stripers. Couple came on spinnerbaits, couple came on jerk baits including the stripers, rest came on creature bait fished texas rigged on a 1/2 ounce bullet aeight.
      City: Oakland

Tips: How to fish senkos in delta?

I always fish em weightless or carolina rigged in lakes so I do the same in the delta but the current seems to drift it into weedz before the pocket. How do yall fish em? Texas rigged with bullet weights? Wont that mess up the action?
