      Water Temp: 71-73

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Water clarity varied hit the later part o the day.Fished rom 3pm on. How's this I took my date bass ishing so I wasn't so seriuos drank a 12'er. Pissed o all the h20 skiers cut every one o them o it was great. Report I ound a spot on the South ork that I split shotted down to 38t they were stacked we were both able to pop 1-2lb ish while the h2o people were cruising by. I used that B.P.S lourocarbon line (there house brand?) it made a dierence cause I had her hooked up with the same bait and test line 4lb (trilene low vis). She knew something was up so we switched rods and she started to bang them like I was. We scented the baits and just dead stuck ish using the green weenie and salt and pepper w/o chartruse tail! Motored up to the point that seperates the 2 orks and ran a popper and a smaller spook and took more ish this type o ishing got her going cause it was about 9pm and I was done and she keep throwing the popper and catching all sizes.
      City: Granite Bay

Tips: Right now i you can get a windy point the ish will be there but they aint big or ind a muddy water bank and crank or blade.I threw worms in the middle o the day to kill time till the top water bite would hit. Every ish is spitting up small ry right now key in on those turbulent banks they are pushing the bait there. That or throw a spoon and locate your bait balls these are the keys now

Report: The Pajaro Valley Bass Club held their August tournament at Pinto Lake in Watsonville. The ishing was tough except or new member Mike Gutierrez who was culling by 8am. He weighed in a 14.50 limit with a nice 4# kicker. Second place was distant 6.74. As our BassNTube bretheren have reported in the past lippin the deep dark jungle was the name o the game and jigs were the hot lure today. The ish seemed to be hitting the jig as soon as it hit the bottom.

Report: We had a night tourney or the Tri-Valley Bassmasters. I haven't ished this lake in over ive years. Man has it changed!!! More homes and nice ones too. Well ater watching all the skiers ski in the 5mph zone we were able to catch ish on poppers and buzzbaits. We only caught 3 ish or the irst weigh in but it was enough to take the lead. My partner and I then decided to switch to plastics/jigs and lip/ pitch docks. The bite turned on between 1-3am. But was still pretty slow. We inally inished our limit at 6am. well we ended up with 15.14 lbs due to 2 dead ish and still managed to win. It was tough nite but two o our club members brought in ish over ive lbs.
      City: Livermore

Tips: I stuck with my conidence baits because i really didn't know the lake. When it's hot throw a buzzbait !!!

Report: I helped a riend preish or an upcoming club tournament Friday night, (8/20). Hit the water at 8:30 pm, getting dark quickly so we headed staight to the back o Woods Creek. Spent the irst hour throwing jigs- no bites. Next, I tried a 6 inch black w/char tail worm. Better success. Caught a 2 lb ish misssed several more. At 11:00 pm., we decided to try lippin the laydowns and the blu banks. Jackpot!!! It was just like ishing the Delta. Flipped June-Bug Brush Hogs. In an hour we boated 5 ish- biggest was 4lbs. What un! The lippin technique allowed us to stay in the strike zone and more importantly, it allowed us to cover water ast! I've never lipped in a night tournament beore so this was a revaltion!

Report: Fished Seven Mile Slough today from 9:00 until 3:00. Really hot out there! Only caught two smallish bass on a bluegill speedtrap. Bass seemed to be near the top of the water.....should have tried a buzzbait. I fish off a specially rigged kayak. I am trying to find "quieter" water where the fast boats won't shake me up too much. Please let me know if you know of good water for a kayak. --Good Luck!!

      Water Temp: 70-73

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Some spots are not so clear mud brown. I hit the lake in search o just a top water bite.I ished till 945pm launched at 5pm. Being that there is a ull moon thought this might just be a big monster bass night? Started o by running a popper and pow got a monster 12lb I mean 12" bass whoa har. I managed to bang a ew more up to 1.5lb. Threw the spook at main points and got a little better result nothing smaller than a 1lb not too bad or this time o the h2o skiing yr. It took alot and do mean alot o covering water to get them to hit. I tried the trees but nothing and the rock is what seem to be the ticket. Every bass that was caught puked up lots o small ishes they were white and all over my boat. Tried my riend the rip bait no dice they just didn't come around. Tried a double buzzer about 8pm on no go not even a jump went back to the popper worked it with a pause and got a ew more.
      City: Granite Bay

Tips: I must say that any patterns that I have put together dont hold the bass are suspending due to the draw down and only dinks in the trees and up shallow. Fished last Sat early morning spook was on then shut down that next day go inger

      Water Temp: 75

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Had a bad day at work so I split early and launched at Bethal Island. I always have a hard time getting a pattern going in the Delta. I hit the water at exactly 7:00 pm and fished until 8:30. Caught 3 fish and had two additional blow ups. Was fishing a chateus buzz bait but I don't think that is as important as where and when I fished. It was an outgoing tide and I fished a weekline facing the tide. It is also a couple days before a full moon right? That can't hurt. Biggest fish went 6 pounds, my personal biggest in the Delta. Drop me a line if you've noticed any consistant patterns around Bethal. Be Safe!
