Report: Well, I could lie and tell you all we killed at Tulloch, but that would be a ish tale. What a tough lake. Thanks or the replys to my earlier post. All I can say is we through everything and the ish in that lake don't want to bite. Lots o ishy looking structure but very little action. Most o the ish we got on top water, buzz baits and jitter bugs. Had more action at Melones the one aternoon we pulled out and went up there. Buzz Bait action there as well. Be sae.

      Water Temp: ?

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished the Turkey shoot out of the hook, Started to run west but when I saw the winds I had to deal with I turned and ran east up into dutch slough, stopped just before the first bridge and caught a dink on a jig, while unhooking it, it puked up a good size piece of shad, and it was only the mid section so I figure these fih have alot of food, could be the reason for the tough bite recently my non boater hooked one but it was a dink and shook off I decided to fish the meat wall outside the break, I had a bite but was moving to fast with the wind so I turned the boat around and pitched my jig back in and felt the heavy jig bite, it was a keeper worked our way towards the launch and I pitched my jig right next to the pole ajacent to the ramp dock and it felt heavy I kinda set the hook upon reeling up I had a ton of grass and buried in it was A FISH, talk about luck, Fishing was slow but I had a great time. Jig was a DUH (brown) with a blue zoom plastic pork, I did catch a dink on a shad pattern crank bait that matched the puked shad.
      City: Martinez

Tips: The bass seem to be petty well fed on natural stuff, the ones I caught were real tight to structure, after casting or pitching to your selected spot let it stay there awhile and wait em out Good Luck Procraft Pete

Report: Man what a day.Without a doubt, the best Delta day ever. Launched out of Dels, had a little one-on-one competition going with my son Deli.(Differant boats) I won't say exactly where we were as I'm prefishing for an up coming tourney. However we did stay south.Caught a few small fish on white buzzbaits early, missed one real good one. Began flipping heavy cover, and fishing weed lines once the tide started going out.Was using the "micster" worm again.(I don't know what it is about this worm, Iv'e been fishing it for 10 years, but I have a renued confidence in it now)I flipped a 4 1/2 and a 4, then a whopper,8 lbs. 12 oz in five feet of water, in wood. That fish was the most fun I've ever had, and i have two over ten to my credit. My previous big Delta fish was 6+. My best limit ever was 15+. We figure I had 22 lbs for five fish yesterday. The big fish hit at around noon.We got off the water a 1pm. I'm glad I was using my flipping stick and 20lb test Big Game line. She was all I ever wanted in a fight.

      Water Temp: 72-76

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: STARTED FISHING AT ABOUT 7:30, ME AND MY PARTNER FOUND A SCHOOL OF BASS ON A ROCK POINT ON THE MAIN CHANNEL. WE WERE GETTING DOUBLE HOOK UPS ON 2 TO 3 LBS. WE CAUGHT ABOUT TEN FISH IN 15 MIN. THEN I GOT ONE OF MY HOOKS ON MY CRANK BAIT STUCK IN MY FINGER. NOW I WASN'T ABOUT TO LEAVE TO HAVE THE HOOK CUT OUT, SO I GRAB THE PLIERS AND YANKED THE HOOK OUT. I THINK MY PARTNER THOUGHT I WAS NUTS! SO BACK TO FISHING WE WENT. WE THAN WENT TO A SPOT IN IN MIDDLE RIVER AND FISH PUMPS WITH RUNNING WATER. BOY DID WE HIT THE JACK POT WE MUST OF CAUGHT 20 FISH ON THIS SINGLE PUMP PITCHING JIGS. FISH RANGE 2 TO 4 LBS. THAN WE DECIDED TO TRY SOME FROG FISHING. I FOUND A NICE LOOKING MAT THAT HAD WATER RUNNING THROUGH IT. ON MY FORTH CAST I STUCK A PIG ON A WHITE MANN'S FROG THAT I MODIFIED. I WAS STOKE, IT WAS MY FIRST FROG FISH THIS YEAR. THE FISH WEIGHED 8.93 ON MY STERN CULL EM SCALE. THAT WAS THE ONLY FROG FISH WE GOT. FROG BITE JUST DON'T SEEM TO BE AS GOOD AS LAST YEAR. AT ABOUT 11:30 HEADED BACK TO LADD'S CAUGHT THREE MORE FISH AT THE MOUTH OF LADD'S ON CRANKS. IT WAS A GREAT BIT EARLY THAN AROUND 11:00 THE BITE SEEMS TO FAD.
      City: STOCKTON

Tips: FOR THOSES WHO DONT KNOW THE DELTA TRY PUMP WITH RUNNING WATER, THIS TIME OF YEAR THEY SEEM TO ALWAYS HOLD FISH. THE RUNNING WATER DRAWS BIG SCHOOLS OF BAIT FISH. USE ANY THING THAT LOOKS LIKE A CRAWDAD, ALSO TRY THE BRIGHTEST RATTLE TRAP YOU CAN FIND. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Report: Water clarity varied hit the later part o the day.Fished rom 3pm on. How's this I took my date bass ishing so I wasn't so seriuos drank a 12'er. Pissed o all the h20 skiers cut every one o them o it was great. Report I ound a spot on the South ork that I split shotted down to 38t they were stacked we were both able to pop 1-2lb ish while the h2o people were cruising by. I used that B.P.S lourocarbon line (there house brand?) it made a dierence cause I had her hooked up with the same bait and test line 4lb (trilene low vis). She knew something was up so we switched rods and she started to bang them like I was. We scented the baits and just dead stuck ish using the green weenie and salt and pepper w/o chartruse tail! Motored up to the point that seperates the 2 orks and ran a popper and a smaller spook and took more ish this type o ishing got her going cause it was about 9pm and I was done and she keep throwing the popper and catching all sizes.
      City: Granite Bay

Tips: Right now i you can get a windy point the ish will be there but they aint big or ind a muddy water bank and crank or blade.I threw worms in the middle o the day to kill time till the top water bite would hit. Every ish is spitting up small ry right now key in on those turbulent banks they are pushing the bait there. That or throw a spoon and locate your bait balls these are the keys now

Report: The Pajaro Valley Bass Club held their August tournament at Pinto Lake in Watsonville. The ishing was tough except or new member Mike Gutierrez who was culling by 8am. He weighed in a 14.50 limit with a nice 4# kicker. Second place was distant 6.74. As our BassNTube bretheren have reported in the past lippin the deep dark jungle was the name o the game and jigs were the hot lure today. The ish seemed to be hitting the jig as soon as it hit the bottom.
      City: Watsonville

Tips: Dark colored jigs especially around wood cover and there is plenty o this at Pinto.
