Water Temp: farrol is an id
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: A man caught 5 fish in a day for 5 yrs. He ate 3 each day. Gave 2 each day to farrol's wife cuz she hate eating his meat. Every other day she sticks one up his arse for 5 yrs and every other wk she sticks one on herself. Now we should all do the math. Farrol has to ask us to count cuz the idiot only has 8fingers,4 toes, n a brain of a size of a chest nut. Btw guess where dez nuts r at ? Lol . Go bark on southern California where they keep taken out water supplies.
Tips: Get a life!!!#

Water Temp: cold
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: worked dike8/folsom pt.... picked up 2 spots on morning dawn dropshot....nothing else. just good to be out.
hey pharrol, were those bass you saw being taken and kept? or were they trout? don't be so hard on those who keep their fish. a limit is a limit and as much as we like our sport, if the fish and game sees fit to allow the 5 per person limit, then it is what it is. i grew up eating fish and a limit would barely feed a family. and i recall catching as many rock cod 5" tp 8" at hunter's point naval shipyard in san francisco when my dad was in viet nam and we lived on the base. i practice catch and release, but i don't knock those who don't. i DO REPORT poachers though and if you believe they're poaching, then report them. otherwise, they can have their limit.
City: folsomTips: i guess work it slow...dead stick or just eat lunch in between casts.

Water Temp: 45
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Dead sticking watermelon tubes for a decent day with 13 spots by browns ravine rangjng from 1-2.5 lbs that was ALL RELEASED!!. My 4th trip out in 2 weeks and seen the same fellas on the bank everytime and evertime they hooked up it went to the stringers. 4 strawhats=20 fish. 20 fish x 4 days = 80 fish. One month 160. You do the math. Catch only what u need and release what u dont. Save some for your grandkids. Theres alot more other species of fish you can also eat. Please practice catch and release instead of catch everthing to keep
City: el dorado hillsTips: 10-25 ft off main points. Best action during midday

Report: Boy. Did I look and feel like a fool. Launched out of wimpys and fished beaver hog and sycamore with no bites. Headed towards all the backsloughs with no luck then finally a FISH ON!!!!!. Hell yeah... definitely a fish on the boat. Just too bad It was a dead shaker striper that was floating by that I decided to hook my dropshot rig just to make me feel better. But almost got me in trouble by a nearby warden that seen what I was doing and had me explain what the heck I was doing. But when I explained it to him what i was doing .he just turned around to gather himself and said . He wouldnt be able to continue in life if he was to cite me.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished near antlers marina from 930 am to 5pm. Got 16 spots 1 Largemouth (i have a photo of that one and a few spots) and two nice trout accidentally. Spots are bitin in water 15 to 60 feet of water some on bottom some suspended chasing shad. Fish slow in morning , and a little faster come evening time as they seemed to be more active later in the day. Most fish 12 to 14 inches, 13 inch largemouth and one kicker spot 3.5 pounds Caught on a jig on the way up in 50 ft of water. Not a bad day for winter time.
City: klamath fallsTips: Fish slow in the morning and a little faster in the evening . Once the sun goes behind the mountain , then get off the lake....it will be freaking cold by then . Good luck , Tight Lines.

Sonoma Lake
-
Water Temp: 50-52
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: The Redwood Empire Bass Club held their first tournament of the year and it was tough fishing all around. Very few fish caught overall with none over 2 lbs. Primary tactics were a drop shot using lighter colored baits. Big difference from last week when I fished and caught several on 7" black worms and brush hogs. Those same baits didn't produce this week.
City: Rohnert ParkTips: Drop shot on main lake points with shad colored Roboworms down 40'-50'. Water is clearing everyday. Fish the rocky areas over the wood, but when you fish an isolated tree, use your electronics to find fish holding tight to the cover.

Del Valle Lake
-
Water Temp: 48
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Hit my DV winter average of 1 bass, a fat little 2# smallmouth, I'm embarrassed to report. Fished jigs almost exclusively again but haven't had a bite on one at DV all winter. Nice day. Only had to wear a glove on one hand for a few minutes a couple of times. Still muddy - no change - same lake level.
Tips: Caught the sm near a steep bank with rock and wood in only about 10' of water on a crank. Soak bait and catch trout - those guys always catch them.

Berryessa Lake

Water Temp: 52
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Launched in the 20+ degree weather, fished from 7:30am to 4pm and tried to thaw out all day. Caught some descent spotted bass and smallmouth bass off the main points before the coves/creeks on a Strike King 6XD deep diving crank (Citrus shad color), and caught one smallmouth on the Yumbrella rig (rigged with reaction innovations little dippers, bad shad color) in anywhere from 12-20 feet of water. Caught another smally off a submerged island in 14ft of water on the 6XD. All fish weighed from 1b to under 3lbs, best 5 goin 9.5 lbs.
City: San Jose, CATips: I had a lucky day. Spoke to a number of other people and nobody was catching them on reaction baits. I didnt get any on finesse baits like everyone else was catching them on.

Water Temp: 52
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Sorry for the late post but better late than never right?
Launched at capell on Friday around 8:15 to a balmy 26 degrees. Might not be cold to you but as scrawny as I am It goes straight to the bone. My buddy and I jammed over to the narrows looking to catch some smallies. After an hour of trying to force feed them reaction baits it was time for the drop shot and tube to come out. We started focusing on the pockets along the north shore that we're steep and muddy with small isolated rock outcropings, as expected the fish were sitting right on the seams of the rock and mudd awaiting an ambush. The fish were holding in 30 feet and chewed up every purple smoke cross tail shad I had, as for the tube they were choking it down as well. Dead sticking was the ticket as well as a 1/16 dropshot weight and a 1/4 ounce tube hook.
City: San LorenzoTips: Be patient this time of year, it does not mean the fishing is slow it is just harder to find em. Once you get a bite or two stay with that spot the fish are definitely stacked on subtle changes along the vast shoreline called the narrows. The colors that worked best for us were green pumpkin w purp/copper flake for the tubes and smoke purple drop shot worms.
Hope this helps and if nothing else it will be a great for reading if you need help going to sleep

Cuaght a 5 fish limit of bass (big fish was 2.5lbs) on PLine's 4" Kick R Minnow slow rolling around the dock. Then switched to my light action spin rod, 6 lb test, and a chartruese marabou crappie jig. I had fun catching crappie, small bass, blugill, redear, and my first sqaw fish.
