It was about a 8 pound cat. We ended up catching about a 2 pound bass o a deep diving crank bait.
City: BurlingameTips: the ish seem to be in deep water so try something that can get down there. Bill dances Excaliber worked or me. It was blue and silver.

Report: Hit the water about 3:30pm. Threw a blade in Mountain or about an hour with no luck. Switched to a magic worm #39 and stuck two ish 1-2 lb range. Threw on a clown Rogue and ripped until dark with no more luck. Went into Jackson and threw a Red/Black brush hog and on the irst cast hit a 2lb'er. Fished all o jackson and only pulled o that one ish. Frustrated I went back to the main lake near the entrance to Mountain Springs. Got a good 10 quick strikes in the next 30 minutes but didn't boat any ish. At 10:30pm I stuck a toad that weighed in at 8.5 and was my last ish until I headed out at midnight. Fat emale that ell or the brush hog. Lotta people say the ish are up on the beds, main reason I went out was to sight ish and didn't see any. Last year I had a ield day sight ishing. Amador is my main lake o choice and ish it approx 40 times a year. Last year around April 15th I hit a 10.4 up on a bed. I think it should bust wide open anytime now. Water was a little stained rom all the weekend traic, give it a ew days to clear up and it should be allright.
City: San JoseTips: Good luck with dark colors, brush hogs seem to be your best bet or a magic worm #39 4". Rigged them texas/brass-n-glass. See a guy with a new 20' Bullet stop by and say HI!!!

Water Temp: 82
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished AM for a couple of hours Sat and Sun. Very slow bite. Picked up a total of 13 fish all spots except 2 smallies. Drop shot robo in morning dawn, a couple on PopR topwater and shallow crank bait were the only producers. Thought there would be a big AM topwater bite and almost nothing. Had one HUGE blow up on a frog in weeds 2 ft deep. Swung and missed. Nothing on Crig plastics. Fish were shallow on points.
City: Foster CityTips: Fish shallow on points and any shallow water with weeds. Try crank bait drop shot robo worms. Forget top water even though it looks perfect for throwing one.

Report: Caught 8 bass fishing PM on Sat. Fish were caught on crank bait, drop shot, and one on top water. Fish were suspended in the water column in 15-30ft of water. Tried carolina rig and worm without a bite. Drop shot fish hit on the fall. Suspended fish are always a challenge for me.
City: Foster CityTips: Use your electronics to figure out where in the wate column the fish are. Use the lure you have the most confidence in to target fish at that depth.
