Report: We tried to beat the storm on Sun but it was already rolling in. Strong winds and heavy rain all aternoon but we still managed to catch around 15 ish rom 1-2.5 lbs in the rattlesnake arm. Most o them bit small pointer minnows and crankbaits in windblown pockets. Monday the wind started blowing out o the North but didn't get to bad. We ished rocky points and rees with cranks and jigs mostly and caught about 10 ish up to 5.4 with the best ive going 17-18. Not to bad or the day ater a major ront. We tried some night ishing at the areas we had bites beore but only had 4 smaller ish. On tuesday we decided to give the north end a try or a ew hours in the morning. It was partly cloudy with no wind but a little chilly. We concentrated on deeper rocky areas and caught ish on crankbaits and jerkbaits. Not a single bite on worms or jigs. Smaller ish were up around the docks, but we ound several good ish to 5.3 with a 16 lb+ limit. Also lost several heavy ish on cranks. Wished we could have stayed or the aternoon bite!
      City: Arcata

Tips: With the water temp dropping pausing the crankbaits and jerkbaits a lot produced more bites. Jig bites came on a slow drag.

Report: We (CVBC) launched out o Redbud Saturday evening or our night tourny. My boater pre-ished the rocky points the night beore and got zero. So we decided to head towards Lucerne and Nice and lip the docks. Cruising right along to our irst dock when we get lagged down and someone needs to be towed in. Oh well, what can you do. Start ishing at about 8PM. Boater misses 2 ish right o the bat. I stick a 4.5-5#er on a 7" black power worm T-Rigged. Caught two more on a Junebug Brush Hog. Switched to wacky worming a Iovino S20C around the pilings. One ish broke me o. Boater had a pretty good night. He was throwing the 7" single tail Yamamoto grub T-rigged with a 3/16 oz. sinker. You know, the grubs Yamamoto were GIVING away in at the Rally. His biggest went 5-5.5#'s. He lost several BIG ish as well as I. But...so goes ishing. Overall a pretty good night.

Moved out to some rockpiles and landed a couple 1-3 lbers. Mon evening wind came up again and we went exploring on the south end struggled to catch some 1-2 lbers but I got a 5+ on a buzzbait right beore dark. Night ishing slowed down a little but we added 5 more up to 4.5 lbs. Tues morning ished in the narrows or 4 more average ish.
      City: Arcata

Tips: We got more bites at night on 7" worms compared to bulky 8" or 10" power worms. A ew ish hit cranks at night though.

Report: Lots o bites and about 10 to 15 ish each day 1-3#. Could not ind the big ish. Weather ranges rom calm and sunny to windy with drizzle and hit everything in between. Fish seemed to be holding on hard structure. Rock banks with tulies mixed in and tulies with wood mixed in. Could not get ish on pure rock banks or pure tulie banks (except at irst light). I only tried 1 to 9 eet deep, hard to break Delta habits. Had some good ish under docks on zipper worms. Nothing on rogs and I was bummed about it.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Club had a two day tourney. Best baits were spinnerbaits in and aroundtules and also on wood in the north end o the lake. Some ish were also caughton shad lukes and rip baits. Most o the ish were 2-8' deep and were chasingthe reaction baits right up to the boat so be prepared when you retrieve or ashort line hit at the boat. Not much to talk about about with plastics or jigs -it was slow or this as everyone was tossing reaction.Tips Slow retrieve with the spinnerbait. Fish near deeper water close byspawning areas. Fronts seem to be coming through every couple o days so theseish are moving - gotta ind them when the weather changes.
