Report: Fished the south end of the lake from Barrett's to Cottonwood. Started at 2pm and fished until 9pm. Wind was blowing pretty strong on the main lake. We caught about 15 fish. They were all small largemouths and only 1 spot. Nothing of any size to report. Caught them on jigs, worms, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits. Caught them from the bank out to about 30'. I thought we'd have a better bite in the evening but no such luck. I plan on fishing McClure again on the 30th. I think I'll head up river and see if I can find some more spots.
      City: Atwater

Tips: The best bite came right at 9pm as we were leaving so maybe we just left too early.

Report: Went out last riday to see what the lake could produce. Well it did not produce much. Hit a ew topwater ish in the morning, but they just where not aggressive hits. Went ishing the steep banks in cotton wood and had alot o little hits. Saw a ton o small ish in the 2 to 6 inch range every where that I went. All in all not a good day on the water, but better than being at work.

Tips: Threw topwater in the morning and then went to split shotting and drop shotting in the late morning.

The ish were staging or the spawn. Although we caught two ish early, shallow,(jig and carolina rig) the rest were caught dropshotting reapers at 30'-55'. We basically stayed there all day, and caught over twenty ish, whcih included three largemouth, one good or 2nd big ish $$,(3.95)My partner used a purple ghost colored reaper, I used a new bait by "Rainbow worms",called the "lil-shark", in the color #2,( purple/blue, with silver lake)We were lucky enough to win the tourney with 12.53 lb.s
      City: San Leandro,Ca

Tips: We stayed in a small area all day dragging and shaking the rig very slowly. Although we tried other oerings, the dropshot was the key....
