      Water Temp: 56

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Don't go to Folsom now , the fish are cold and will not spawn for two month's at least.I would wait for the jet ski traffic to know the bite is good. OK that's a lie , the bite is actually pretty good , not red hot yet but good. I have been out three times through this cold front and had decent action every time. However that said I have not had a good reaction bite, almost all my fish have been on plastic. Ripping and top water have let me down.

All smallies and spots , the average fish is two and a half lbs with my biggest a four and a half lb spot last night. I have not seen any large mouth yet
      City: Granite bay

      Tips: Just go

      Water Temp: 61-62

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Beautiful Day to fish 75 and bright sun..but for some reason, the bite was dead.. We fished from the dam all the way past Horse Shoe Bend. We tried every color of Lizard, Senko, and worm, as well as ripbaits. I couldn't spot any fish shallow, but I also didn't see any holes burrowed in the back of coves either. We got tons of play bites, but until 6:00 P.M...we saw two fish 8-9" long and both fell off. At 6:00 P.M. though, I caught 5 fish 1-2 lbs along the rock wall south of Temperance on Natural Shad Senkos (Wacky). Lots of boats were on the Lake...water still rising. I saw lots of fish jumping right before Dawn
      City: Merced. CA

Tips: I still would stick with the usual baits. The nights have been colder as of late, so maybe the fish are still not coming up all the way??? Warm weather is forecast for the next two weeks, so that will probably do the trick...

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out of Lime Saddle and found success in the coves. Caught 5 in the slot and 2 coho's. The bite was steady until about 11am. The wind picked up after noon and the rock piles were hot.
      City: Magalia

Tips: Remember to spayed and neuter your pets. Your neighbors apprieciate it.

Report: First fish of the year near the dam, parking lot side. Maybe 12" long, on Texas rigged Robo. Not bad for 1/2 hour before work. Saw a few fish jumping. No reports since mine last fall. Anyone been trying here?
      City: sunnyvale

Tips: No mad skills here, but I was slow-bouncing the bottom.

Report: not a great day when it came to lunkers, but there were a bunch of fish up shalow about 4-15 feet of water that were hangin off the shore some 20 yards on trees and other wood structure.
      City: Ventura Ca

Tips: fish small baits like 4 inchers in shallow water on points with flats near by and on points in the backs of coes.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: The weather is getting better, High 60's. Fishing structure. Drop shot senkos, tube baits and finesse baits seem to be working. Fish could move into the shallows next day or so but been catching them in 10-15 feet of water. The water is very clear and the lake is almost full.
      City: K-ville

      Tips: SLOW presentation is effective

Report: Does anyone know what websight to go to get an accurate wheather forcast at folsom lake? I'm trying to find out what the wind is doing before I go to the lake. We all know how windy the this lake gets. I'm about 3 hrs. from this lake and hate to go all the way there and find out that its going to blow 20mpg. I just have a 14' alluminum.

      Water Temp: 59.7

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: What the hell is wrong with this lake. With the temp where it is fish should have been up on beds all over. We covered the entire perimeter from 3-7 and didn't see a single fish. Not a single bite. Threw senkos and DS. Are too many fish ending up on dinner plates or am just not looking in the right spot.

      Water Temp: 55-59

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of Markley around 1pm and headed for the Vineyards.

Partner threw 4" worms, all different colors d/s & Texas. I threw spinnerbaits, chatterbait, shallow cranks, jigs. Nada for both of us. Saw a few bass moving around and plenty of carp. Worked it from shallow to around 20'.

Around 5pm went over to the west side north of the big bridge. The wind was blowing algae onshore so the top couple feet were pretty thick; the water underneath was pretty clean. Got a 2# smallie on a split tail crawdad imitation on a standup jig - no skirt. Hit came in about 12' off a rocky outcropping.

Started working the windblown shoreline a little faster toward the bridge with a white spinnerbait, steady retrieve - no action. Decided to speed it up a bit and burn it through the algae and that did the trick. 7.5# LMB nailed the bait right at the boat. A couple casts later, a 3# Spot hit close to the boat. Snapped a few pics and let 'em go - both were full of eggs but the tails weren't worn down at all.

As the sun went behind the hills, we headed back to Markley with a stop in Haines. The water there was really clear (colder too) compared to up north. No luck here - called it a day.
      City: Napa

Tips: Every once in a while, a big change in speed makes the difference. Too bad I forget sometimes.

      Water Temp: ??

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fantastic day. Went to left of entrance at that shallower end of lake. Fished Jigs and plastics and pounded them... got a couple on jerkbaits, but only shallow baits(0-2ft). Too much grass to use deeper ones. Plastic the ticket. Started at about 815 and by Noon had 2 limits. Nice fish in the 2-3 lb class (weighed on Berkley scale - they looked bigger to be honest). Bite was good all day, split at 3 caught 16 fish and only 1 small fish under 12"; Caught fish in 1.5 to 3.5lbs basically all day. Want to come back in boat for more.
      City: Pacific Grove

Tips: Some pickups on longer pauses. Some hit on fall. I also moved around a lot and went back to areas i had bites and got bit again.

Report: Fished around main channel outside Disappointment today. Got out around 9:30 and off about 5. Barely got my limit of 2's & 3's w/ several sub keeper size bass all on lipless cranks. I flipped sweet beavers and large senko's w/no takers. Going out tomorrow and try around the port maybe I could catch a few of those B.A.S.S. fish.

Report: jt, work the coves and entrances to coves; use 3/16 or 1/4oz darthead with 4", 5", 6" worms in aaron's magic, junebug, morning dawn, or prizm shad. can also use inchi wacky jigheads with same worms or use senkos/clones...lately shad or light blue 5" kinamis and strike king 3x in junebug or watermelon red flake have worked. gotta work slow but ok to shake in place. bites are very light or you'll simply feel loaded up. hope this helps.
      City: folsom

      Tips: same as above.

Report: U go tell them Deltaking. Can't believe vinny(ignorance fool) label every fisherman with bobber are proacher or every bank fisherman in this case. They have the right to fish how ever they like, as long as it's in the legal guidelines. Does vinny actually sit there n watch them catch over limits? Just because he can't catch fish, now he gotta blame it on the bank fisherman. Get a life man or go frog hunting..there's plenty of those around, maybe that hobby u can alwyz catch something. I wish this vinny guy stunk every time he goes out fishing
