      Water Temp: 60.5

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Got a late start and was on the water around noon. Hit the Yorty Creek Area looking for some bed fish. Nothing happening, so hit a couple of the long points near flats and bagged 5 fish to 4.5 lbs on shallow running cranks, white/chartreuse fished "slowly" over the grass. The lone female was still full and waiting. Moved to main lake points and picked up a couple of smallies on jigs. Wind picked up around 4:15PM, so called it a day with 7 fish, best five 14 lbs.
      City: Sebastopol

Tips: I spoke with a couple of guys in a Ranger at the dock saying they had seen fish on beds in the back of Cherry Creek. I never made it there, so I cannot confirm. I did not see a single fish up tight while in Yorty.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Well we gave Amador another try to see if we could find some big females got on the H20 at 6 am. and started throwing BBz swimbait and hollow belly with no luck threw these off and on all day and I am not going to stop utill I get that big girl I'am looking for.It started out a little slow we picked up 1 male on a weightless senko then picked up another here and their all males. we had 15 fish by noon mostly on dropshot nothing big about 2 lbs avarage but alot of fun we headed in for some lunch and stopped at a point real quick to try it and hung into a 5 lb trout the was thirsty for some margarita mutilator. left my buddy at the dock to fish for trout and headed back out with my brother we caught a few more and then at 5pm all hell broke lose and we got 7 in a row and a couple of doubles. it kept going like that until 10 pm and decided to call it a day lost count after 50 Mostly males a couple of females all fish were realesed except 2 trout I figured I had to take them to cover the 32 buck fee for two guys to fish.

      Water Temp: 57.5-67

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished Friday and Saturday at berryessa. Friday the bite seemed a bit better for larger fish. Landed 4 in the morning around 1.5lbs a piece then the bite died for a few hours, back on the water at 3pm we caught fish until we trailered up. All fish were 2lbs+ with an 8.1 lb largemouth on the last cast of the day. Best 5 went 17lbs. All fish Firday came via dropshot and jigs, lost one on a rip bait and a few c-rigging. Saturday boated 12 fish on a variety of baits, senkos, jigs, cranks, dropshotting. biggest fish was 1.5lbs. Fish seemed smaller today with our best 5 going 6lbs. Lost a 3-4lber on a crank and various other fish that would have helped the bag too...
      City: Reno, NV

Tips: Spotted alot of LMs up shallow after 3pm... seemed to be when the bite really turned on. Fished the backs of coves and the backs of points leading into coves. Seemed to land 2 or 3 fish per cove in the afternoons.

      Water Temp: 60

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Three of us on my boat had a great time. We mainly fished the creek by dragging plastics in 10 to 15 feet of water though we had a lot of fun cruising a cove and landed about 15 all together. Almost all were very soft strikes and most of the fish came in around 1 to 1.5 lbs with the largest coming in at 3 lb 11oz.

      Water Temp: 58-63

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Water clarity should have an "ultra-clear" click with 15+ visiblilty!! I just completed 2 nice father-child trips - yesterday with a dad and his 14 year old son and 14 year old friend, and today (Fri) with a dad and his 20 yr old daughter - who loves to fish and beat her dad! It is interesting that the bite was better yesterday - recovery post-front day, than today - warmer day (but no wind!). The big thrill yesterday was the guest 14 year old caught his first bass - a 17 inch spot - WOW!! I talked him through the fight and he got it in! The other boy then lands his first bass ever - a 15 1/4 inch spot. Today the daughter landed her first bass - a 14 inch smallie. Proud dads - and they were outfished!! Fri we boated about 14 bass including a largemouth for about a 10 lb limit. Good start for those boys. Today the bite was slower and the fish were smaller and only 9 or 10 were landed. I heard from others that the bite was slower today, though someone always will do well. We fished the narrows mostly yesterday. Today we fished the narrows to Big Island.
      City: Yuba City

Tips: We found very few bass in the backs of coves. Most of our fish came off points with a steep drop on the front or off to the side. We did catch and miss a lot of fish on the inside edge of the weedline. I missed 2 quality bass that I couldn't move out of the weeds. All the clients missed several that they thought were weeds - that is always a tough call for beginners. We did see a few bass and several carp this afternoon in shallow water on the east side. The warmest water I could find was a brief 64 degrees. There are acres and acres of now-shallow flats that are not near deep water and the bass probably won't use these areas to spawn and feed this summer. One needs to concertrate on areas with some deep water nearby. We did some drop-shotting of morning dawn Robo worms today and that did produce 3 or 4 bass. We split-shotted green pumpkin Power worms and MMIII Robos - 4 and 6 inch. Saw and Eagle today and several deer both days. Everyone loved that!

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: I am taking my son fishing this weekend and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I just wanted to know how the bite is on the lake. I don't need to know which spots or lures that you are using, I just wanted to know if anyone has been up lately and if it was worth the trip. This lake is ussually close to going wide open this time of year, but with Pedro, sometimes you never know. Any feedback would be very much appreciated. Feel free to e-mail if you would like. Thanks.

      Water Temp: 58-62

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: The started at the lake around 7am. Flipped the tullies most of the day for only one bite. I missed the fish. Saw a lot of fish moving in towrads the tullies later in the day. Left around 3pm, saw a lot bass boats arriving around that time. The trout bite seemed to be good for the trollers. The bass bite still seems to be slow.

Report: I haven't been on this lake since last fall. Is there anyone out there that can tell me what the water level is and how hot the bite is right now? I don't need to know what lures are being used or what spots to fish. I am planning on taking my son up this weekend and I was just wondering if it's worth the trip. I would appreciate any feedback that anyone might be able to give me. Thanks.

      Water Temp: 54-60

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: I took a couple of great guys out Friday. They wanted to learn some techniques on the spring bite. We fished points and shallows and they did quite well. For a half day and around 20 bass, they had 3 over. We covered shacky head worming, tubeing and jigs and when and where to use them. It was a great day.

      Water Temp: 70 degree

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fishing is great on the shore in the main recreation area. Spaces are limited crowded with anglers. Alot of bites, some caught their limits and others didn't have hook ups. The shore anglers started around 6am and up. Trout bites was on, 2 anglers caught 7+ pounders trouts on powerbait and worms. The docks wasn't productive with a few bites and hook ups. Alot of holdover with size! The 7+ pounders trouts are definite holdovers with clean fins. I went to the launch around 2pm, a few caught their limits and some got no bites. One angler caught a 2+ pound bass off the rocks in the launch using bobber and worm combo around 3pm. Alot of boaters today. I got alot of bites but no hook ups. Tried spinnerbait for bass but no hits all day. I took off early since I started around 6am.
      City: Concord

Tips: Use powerbait and worm combo. One angler caught 3 trouts in 1 hour. This is at the main recreation near the dock shore.

      Water Temp: 59

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Took a couple of friends out today and we managed ten fish. The biggest one was close to 5lbs and we had a few that went 2-4lbs. Probably had about 16lbs for our best five. Most of the fish we caught were females that had not bedded up yet- in fact they looked like they had a ways to go before they laid (bellies were full, but not all the way- no sores or spawning marks. We only managed one smallie. I will gladly exchange information on the largemouth if somebody could clue me in on the smallmouth!!!
      City: Elk Grove

Tips: lots of males around submerged wood. Females seem to be deeper and alone- we never caught two females in the same area. RUN and GUN.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Took my 2 kids out to North Fork with some live worms and couldn't even catch a Blue Gill. Fished the banks around Granite Bay with plastics, spinners and dart heads and nothing. I am new to the area from Arkansas and I could walk out to the boat ramp and catch perch all day long there. Is there something I am missing here. Any recommendations on where I can at least take the kids and let them catch a fish before they never want to go again?

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Wow..I miss this place alot ever since I got pissed while I was tubing in the back lake. This is the very first lake that I learned bass fishing. Good luck to you all this is a great lake to tube in the back ponds. I never got skunk with a tube back there. Maybe I should find a time to go back to tube there. Been very busy with my new bass boat. LOL
      City: Fremont

Tips: Make sure dump the poor bass back into the POND. Its small ponds with good fish in there, don't ever let it stop. Maybe I'll see you all in the water sometimes. Favorite technique is dropshot and wacky senko. YOU NEED TO PITCH IN TO THE TOUGHEST SPOT TO FIND THEM WHEN FISHING IS SLOW.
