Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Mr Tkboogie thank you for answering my question. I was curious about the area you were fishing. Thank you for the tips! Now if I only knew where I should concentrate on catching stripers OVER 10 lbs. I've been catching lots of 18 to 30 in. but nothing over. I guess I should throw bigger lures. I've been fishing the flats like many others and caught two LMB that were about 9 lbs. and the other 10 lbs. by accident in dutch slough while throwing a swimbait! That really made my day! I bought a couple of super magnum 9in. zara spooks. A black zara and a trout pattern spook. I Guess I will be trying those as well as a MS SLAMMER. I just wish I knew where and what depth I should throw them.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: on the water about 8 a.m., cold and overcast start, 3rd or fourth cast HUGE blow up on a vixen off a ledge north east of franks on a tule island, not sure if LM or striper, it did'nt return. resorted to drop shot @ old river for a limit of dinks. I took my 6 yr old son, we had a blast! Nothing on a shad crank, had a wack on a DANDY BAITS green pumpkin (BUD) jig with paca craw trailer. Other than that, pretty tough.

Tips: post front conditions made it tough, don't rule out topwater....yet. dead stick 6" worms checking line often.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: On the water around 1030. Idled out and found fish in 14 ft of water in a small area in the middle of the lake. One fish on small plastics, on the bottom, picking the bait up and letting it fall. Kept fishing toward the south launch and hooked one more but came off. Partner had a few bites but could not get them hooked. Didn't have a chance to talk to the other three boats that were there so not sure how they did until I read Tims report.
      City: Lincoln

Tips: small shaky head or football head with small plastics. I would drag this and pop it off the bottom drifting slowly on 10 lbs line.

      Water Temp: 47

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: You can launch from dirt ramp but with one person you will be getting wet unless you take rubber boots. Fished from about 10 am to 2 pm with on bump on a jig. Talked to two other boats on the water and a couple of shore anglers all had no bites. Deepest water I found was around 58 feet and will over 100 feet down. Saw a ton of fish suspended and should have tried spooning but didn't.

Report: Granite bay launch ramp end at 368 feet, not 369. May not be important to the regulators, but to us bass fishermen it is very imnportant for our invested equipment.

      Water Temp: -

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Started at 1:00 pm, ramp was one foot deep at end, but launchable. Fishing was pretty good, but fish were below 25 ft level and deeper. Spoons over bait was good and carolina rig was fair. Jigs good for two of the biggest, 65 ft. in trees.
      City: sac

Tips: This time of year water is cold and fish are in a slight hibernation mode. Go slow, work deeper that warmer times. There are some shallow fish.

      Water Temp: 61.8

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished from 6:30 until 1:00. Weather was cloudy/gray skies ,no rain. Threw everything today.Fished at Crawdad Point, Islands, Dead Horse, Deep Cat, West side of Main Island, Dead Horse again, then finally Bouy's near Marina.Metered schooling fish near Marina(alot), used the Rapala Ice Jig in 20-25 ft. of water. I figured with all the marks, The law of averages had to go in my favor then...BAM!Finally hit one!Nice spotted bass 2 pounds.I used my fish finder, changed the chart speed and sensitivity which seemed to help isolate the marks and I was able to read it more clearly. This one little fish made my whole day!
      City: Oxnard

Tips: I used the ice jig in 20-25 ft.water. Found schooling fish and dropped it around them. During this outing, I started to doubt my fishing ability. I remembered Iaconelli say, "Never give up!" I didn't and I caught a fish which validated me. Thank You all for your help.
