Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Same to you Petey, really nice delta bass. I want to find some spots in the delta as soon as I get my boat and trailer registered. I'm with you on 10 bass in 2 days, if I catch 2 it's a great day at Merced. Someone asked if they could plant more bass, I was one of the people back in the 1970's that used to do it, Don't.
      City: Daly City

Tips: I've seen some live crayfish lately this lake never had them. They're going to be detrimental to the native species and if bullfrogs ever get in it'll be bad news for the yellow legged frogs if there's any left. Haven't seen a stickleback in 10 years and the little shrimp aren't as plentiful anymore.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: On the water at 4:30pm Tuesday. Lake is ultra low, unreal. Headed up south fork past the 5 mph zone and picked up 5 LM on a rock bank. Chatter bait was hot in chartruese and got bit on same color spinner baits. 3 of the fish were 1.5-2lbs and the other two were 3 and 4. Over all, a productive couple hours. Off the water at 7:30pm
      City: Rocklin

Tips: Chatterbaits close to shore, hit within 3-5 feet of the rocks. Fish were holding close to shore. Tried topwater buzz baits and poppers but no luck.

      Water Temp: N/A

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Well got there a little after 8:00 and had to wait in line a bit for the pleasure boat's but they did a good job.Hit the first rocky point from the ramp in 30' and tried drop shot.My first drop I got a loop in my line and by the time I had it out I had a fish on.Ended up with three off that point all typical Anderson fish about a pound maybe.

Left there and went and fished the drop off by the back picnic area at the south end of the lake with same rig but never had anything. Then went and fished directly under the bridge with same and cought four more but two were over 2 lbs.

All of a sudden fish were busting the surfuce for awhile and after about five differant offering's without a look I put on a Kastmaster and cought 7 more fish some very nice for Anderson.

I seen some of the shad they were chasing and I have seen them in here before and they were to me huge. They were all of 3 1/2" to 4" long. Why they would only hit a small 2" Kastmaster is beyond me.
      City: Salinas

Tips: To the group of people fishing off the bank the LEGAL limit on Bass is 12" minimum length and only FIVE.

Report: thanks for the tips george, you left not one. here's a tip, use the weight formula by measuring length X length X girth divided by 1200. Here's another tip, senkos for the big fish on high tide.

      Water Temp: 73-79

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Being a guide on Lake Oroville, I've met a lot of great clients and made a lot of friends. I was really excited to have two of them ask me to guide them on Clear Lake on Monday. We went out at Red Bud and went to the tules by Indian Is. to throw some spooks. With no luck there I tooked them to the Pirates Cove area to throw senkos off the deep docks. It did not take long before they were into the bass. The morning bite slowed at noon and the winds also picked up so we went Anderson Is. and the Glendhaven area to throw crank baits and lipless crank baits on the flats up to the drop offs. They picked up 6 more nice bass before it was time to head home. They ended up with 27 bass with a 6+ a 5+ and many 4lb bass the best five went around 23 lbs.
      City: Paradise

Tips: We used senkos in many colores, water melon, pumpkin, blake with red flake were the most productive. We targeted the deeper docks.

      Water Temp: 78-81

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: there was a small topwater window from 5:30 to 7:00. was on the water with 9 in the boat. the biggest was 3.12.caught couple of them jiggin in the tree's. once sun was out found them dropshotting in 20 to 30 feet.
      City: visalia

Tips: had a guy on the bank ask me if a fish was big enough to keep when it was only 15 inches (maybe). when I told him no he said f**k it and said he was gonna keep it anyway. Took some convincing for him to throw it back. where is fish and game when you need it! becareful there was a boat up on some exposed rocks, hope its ok if he gets it off

      Water Temp: Warm

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: LMB man, go to photos, submit photo. J, I'm still looking for those spots after 10 years of Hawg Hunting here. Bought a pontoon and 12' Gregor this summer to find them. I find it disturbing that people I meet fishing here hide there catch because others make them feel bad for keeping it. I go fishing because it make me feel good and people should be proud of your catch. I used to keep everything I caught when I started 40 years ago, but now realize I'll never catch my 8+ if I keep the 5, 6 and 7's so they always go back. 1-2 lb'ers always end up on the dinner table. 8-4 pic I posted was caught by my daughter and her choice was to release it.
      City: Daly City

Tips: Catch and Release - To each his own. If you do eat the fish out of this lake, be careful to fully cook it, they have alot of parasites (nematodes).

      Water Temp: 72-76

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Sunday I took two brothers out. Being that it was Sunday and the week before school, I was hopeing that it wouldn't be too crazy out there. As it was we didn't have much traffic until 12 noon. We started out with top water pop-r,s and flukes. The guys could not believe the feeding frenzy that was happening. That bite was on from 6:30 to 8am. We then went to the banks throwing tubes. This was a new technique for them as they missed a lot of bites, but still boated 72 nice spots. They were pretty excited about the day with 10 over and 4 over 16 inches.
      City: Paradise

Tips: For top water action, throw close to the bank on points and coves and look for feeding fish out in the open water. On the banks, the points and walls produced bites from 1 to 15 feet. Look for the shadows on rocks for your targets. The clear sparkle gitzits produced the most bites.
