Report: On the water about 800am. The usual North Fork hitting random points and coves. Several nice fish on Yum Dingers and Topwater baits. Never spending too much time in one area, hit some fish, move and come back later for a couple more.
      City: sacramento

Tips: Trust your radar! Find the schools and head for shore!

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Please DO NOT use live bait, it kills the smaller fish that you would otherwise release if not deep hooked. Please release all BIG fish. Please only harvest the medium sized fish and then only what you will DEFINITELY eat. Please DO NOT retain 18lbs of fish per outing, that is just too much. Thank you and Tight lines.

Report: spent a half day in and around Frank's Tract. Slow day on numbers, but nice fish. Two 6's a 43/4 and a 3. One on a red Japanese lipless crank and the rest on black and red jigs. Super skallow.
      City: lodi

Tips: no tips- I'm an old grey beard that has not yet figured out how to catch consistant big fish.

      Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Took a rare day off from work Thursday and hit Clear Lake at first light. Was very windy at Red Bud. Kept my fingers crossed hoping the wind wouldn't get much worse. Oh well, by 10am the main body wasn't safe to travel on, even on a 21 footer. Been to the lake on many windy days, but not this bad. Maybe should have packed up and relaunched up north? Did manage to catch about 15 fish by 10am. Nothing bigger than 3lbs. Senkos in green pumpkin variety worked well. Had 2 nice strikes on swim baits; saw each of the 2 fish come to the top a spit the bait back out. Seems they were hitting it short; just grabbing the tail.
      City: Sacramento

Tips: If Red Bud is super windy consider launching in the north end.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Same to you Petey, really nice delta bass. I want to find some spots in the delta as soon as I get my boat and trailer registered. I'm with you on 10 bass in 2 days, if I catch 2 it's a great day at Merced. Someone asked if they could plant more bass, I was one of the people back in the 1970's that used to do it, Don't.
      City: Daly City

Tips: I've seen some live crayfish lately this lake never had them. They're going to be detrimental to the native species and if bullfrogs ever get in it'll be bad news for the yellow legged frogs if there's any left. Haven't seen a stickleback in 10 years and the little shrimp aren't as plentiful anymore.

Report: On the water at 4:30pm Tuesday. Lake is ultra low, unreal. Headed up south fork past the 5 mph zone and picked up 5 LM on a rock bank. Chatter bait was hot in chartruese and got bit on same color spinner baits. 3 of the fish were 1.5-2lbs and the other two were 3 and 4. Over all, a productive couple hours. Off the water at 7:30pm
      City: Rocklin

Tips: Chatterbaits close to shore, hit within 3-5 feet of the rocks. Fish were holding close to shore. Tried topwater buzz baits and poppers but no luck.
