Berryessa Lake

Water Temp: 58-60
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Wow, what a nice day at Berry, sun out and no wind. Fished the south end. Water temp up to 60 in the afternoon! Caught evenly mixed bag of smallies and spots. Did not catch a lot, but all of them were a little bigger than average. Tried back of coves thinking the fish could have been spawning with the full moon. We had no luck. Caught all fish on the points.
City: Elk GroveTips: Dropshot and darters worked for us, could not get the crank or spinnerbait bite going.

We are all anxious to hear what you got. Anyway to pay lots of money for those tips rather than give out personal information?

Water Temp: 58
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Put the boat in at a private ramp outside of jago around noon.It seemed like someone fliped a"spring time"switch cuz it was like 75 degrees. We started off at one of my favorite rockpiles in jago and my wife stuck a 3 on her second cast draggin a splitshot rig.I couldent get bit but the fish were there so we camped out for a couple hours,so she sticks a 6+ an hour later and im still skunked!finnally got into a bunch of avrage keepers, that died out and we went to horseshoe bend where i stuck a couple of dinks and a 6+, again draggin the rig.decided to go to a bay near richmond park where i proceeded to rip a buttload of dinks and nailed one fiver draggin a robo.I saw a few double digit fish that looked like they were thinking about it (prespawn!!!)but the weather is gonna turn to crap again so who knows
City: lower lakeTips: water on the south end is crazy clear(up to ten foot vis)be as quiet and unseen as you can.splitshot/dropshot continues to produce for me and everyone ive talked to,tight lines!

Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Started off today at about 1:20 PM near Channel Point. I pitched a Senko around for a while near the tules and grass but with no results. I began flippin the tules on the point to the right of the dock and caught a 1-13 and a dink on a Bloody Bug Sweet Beaver. I fished my way to the point on the other side of the dock. Once at the point, I caught a 1-11 on a brown jig w/ 4" Brown Super Pork Bubba Frog on the inside of a weed line. That fish was a small female which released some eggs after I caught her. I caught a 1-5 on the flat before the swim lagoon on the Beaver which was also a small femal full of eggs. I missed a couple others on the Beaver as well. Later on in the evening,I saw some smaller males moving up to the tules and they seemed to be looking for spawning areas. I saw a few bigger females out further. I tried to catch them but it wasn't happening.
City: AntiochTips: The weather was awesome today. The fish are starting to move up the the beds. The big females are still holding back some. Target tules, weeds, and subtle drop offs with plastics or jigs. Work the lure fairly slow and methodically through possible spawning and staging areas.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Thanks Roland for the feedback. My big test will be at the Future Pro next week at Clear lake! We'll see how the offical weigh in goes compared to the handheld scale. All indications for a smack down tournment- weather will start clearing on Monday with four or so days of sunshine and low 70 degree temps! I was lucky enough to run into Kent Brown at fishermans warehouse in Rocklin today. He just came back from Clear Lake, fishing with Jimmy Reese, and slammed over 40 fish each in a day! He had the proof,a ripped up right hand with plenty of teeth marks and scrapes- with of course a little bit of dried blood! Real nice guy- he pointed me into the right direction of the swimbaits I was inquiring about. Thats it, I got everything to knock them dead next weekend.( I hope) I will be competeing in division 1- usually their is only araound 20 or so boats in that catogory. ANYWAYS THANKS FOR THE FEEEDBACK!

Report: o-heim - I have the Black one. The one they have on Cabelas is white, and I'm not sure if they are the same unit. I like mine (fiancee bought it for me for Xmas) because it is simple and also allows you to record the fish for a total weight. Not sure if its accurate, I would need to compare it to an official scale to do so :) Later - Roland (California Delta Chambers/USA Fishing Reporter)

Report: Got some dirty water tips for you...
City: San BrunoTips: Whiskey Slough always has dirty water. A buddy of mine caught his biggest fish (10) out of there this time of year in the morning when the water looked like coffee. The bass are going to be more spread out, but we had just as much luck flipping the bank as we did in the clear water near Mildred and Franks Tract. There are still bass lined up in dirty water you just have to find them...
