Report: Fished the lake for a couple of hours. I spoke with a father and son team that caught and released a 5 pound LMB in North Lake this afternoon. I didn't catch today, but did see a couple of good size bass cruising around. Used Senko, RoboLeach. Fished 'em slowly...until the wind came up. Maybe tomorrow, after work.

Report: Full moon conditions. Fished from 6:30 pm till 2:00 am. Lake still nearly full (about 1 foot from full). Got no fish during the day and about ten fish after dark. Saw another boat land a (one) decent fish around 7 pm in Rock Creek. Senkos, jigs, worms, and spinnerbaits accounted for the fish. Nothing big - biggest went 3.0. No topwater yet. Bite really slowed down around 10:30 pm. Weeds are already showing up in shallow water.
      City: Folsom

Tips: I'd stay away from this lake until mid or late June when the summer pattern should finally kick in.

Report: Hey Don, I know what you mean. Fished the Lake 3rd week in April and got skunked!!! The trout fisherman were even bitchen. NO fish were caught the day I fished, by anyone! 8 hours. This lake has a great rep. With the money you pay- you expect to hook-up. However, as we know that is not always the case. Your deadright on the cost. Wayyyyy toooo highhhh. It is what it is. Until I here awesome consistent reports from here, or the costs dropsssss way down-Its not on my list of go to places anymore.

Report: Hey Ryan, just spent Sat-Sun at the lake and saw a couple of "Bow-hunters". Spoke with them at the launch ramp today, and they got 150lbs.in the keys sunday-and 300lbs. in north lake on saturday.
Now for the good part the bass report-or not so good. Wind played a big factor this weekend.lots of it. Tucked away at Rattlesnake for a short time both days with just a few dinks to show for the effort. The keys seemed to be the ticket to shelter yourself from the wind. However, like most weekends there was yet another tournamant and the keys were packed. We have a house on the water, and most of the guys were froggin or using the old trusty Senko. Most guys said they had a small limit 10-13 lbs. The action has taken a down turn from the past 2 previous weeks.
      City: antelope

Tips: Go to the lake anyways and have fun!

Report: Launched from Capell Cove at 6:15AM. No problem finding a parking spot. Got back at 2:00 what a madhouse. Anyway, water is very clear until the wind and boat traffic stirs it up. I did well with Carolina rigs in Putah Creek. Caught 5 fish to 2 lbs on motor oil roboworms. Then went further north and entered a cove. In 12-15' of water I caught 6 more fish, 1 smallie the rest LMs. No size, all in the 1-2lb range. Fun day at the lake 'cept for all the boat traffic. Looks like the summer has started.
