      Water Temp: don't know

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: fished as non boater cllub tournament. flipped 31/2 poounder in scattered tullies around noon.caught a few dinks partner blanked.second day I blanked partner caught 4 on salt pepper hulla grubs. guess which tackle bag I decided to leave at home.It was daves only hula grub? A couple of guys did real well on watermellon baby brush hogs split shot 15 foot range.Slow rolling 1 oz spinnerbait between deep water docks worked for another guy.Biggest bass for club was 7+ black bass.
      City: orangevale

Tips: fish are confused about high water and weird weather. Slow down if you can in the wind and waves.Bed fish still happening if you can get out of the wind. Water very high and clear. fish in kelsey creek are everywhere but I couldn't get them to bite anything. Live bait? Look in the shadows in afternoon. Must be hundreds of keeper bass in there.

Report: Just got a new boat, so I am taking it this weekend but I've never been to Clear Lake, only heard great stories.

      Does anyone have any suggestions?
      City: Gilroy

      Tips: Thanks!

      Water Temp: 65

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Left ramp at 6:30am. Water is up 20' in the last 2 weeks. The water is crystal clear, but watch for LOTS of floating debris all over the lake. Had 5 small fish right away along rock walls and in submerged trees. Saw a lot of bigger fish cruising trees and bushes, but couldn't provoke a strike. Tried top-water, spinners, Rat-L-Traps, worms, tubes....just no takers.
      City: Reno

Tips: I would be willing to bet that with the rapid water rise, night fishing would be a lot of fun and pretty productive. Full moon now too.

      Water Temp: 46-49

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: As you may have read in the report my father put out we had a tough day with the bite.It was my first time on the lake so I was pretty pumped. We started at the marina. Twenty five minutes after we started i hooked into one and when that happened i thought we had a good day to look at.But i was wrong it wasn't a nother 5 hours til we got a bite.My dad hooked one. Then i hooked one then he caught are last fish of the day.Usually iget upset when we have a tough day like that but that day was different.I was just happy to spend a day on the lake with my father.
      City: Ukiah

Tips: The fish hat i hooked were in 15-20 feet of water, using robo worms.

      Water Temp: 72

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Met a good buddy of mine there and fished from 7PM to 3AM. Caught a bunch of small ones on "Drop Shotting" small robo worms and one on a Rainbow Trout colored SENKO in some bushes up in Carson Arm. We switched to Dead Ringers at night in Muscadine and also Black Grape colors and caught only 3 more after dark. Biggest went 2.5Lbs. Lots of dinks. Weather was good, but the fishing was fair at best. It's been a while since I could say the fishing was "Good" at this lake. It's just been So-SO for the last several trips. Getting too expensive for the long trip down there.
      City: Shasta Lake, CA

Tips: If you want to just catch fish...drop shotting was pretty successful for us...but mostly small fish. Big plastics in dark colors only produced a couple of 2.5 lbers for us... Sorry I couldn't give a better report.

Report: Yes, lake Amador is a flipp'n rip off. Entry fee suck. We headed out and got skunked. Caught several dinks nothing big. Stay out from 8pm-2am then decided to get outta dodge.
      City: sacramento

      Tips: Fish Delta!!! Much Cheaper!!!

      Water Temp: 70

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: What a Ripoff! Although this lake is full of bass and trout, it's not worth $32.00! I could not believe they had the nerve to even say "it's 32.00 for 2 guys and a boat". If we hadn't already driven over an hour, we'd have told them )(*&%^ and left.
Ok now the fishing report. If you like trout and can troll in and around about 30 boats, you might be able to catch a limit. I know we caught a 4lb bow and weren't even trying. Bass fishing sucked. Only one keeper and lots of dinks. Did see several beds with single males or both the male and female close by, but not locked on enough for them to get nasty and take an offering. We saw some males guarding fry so the fish are in various stages of the spawn. I can tell you we won't go back and I'm going to recommend our club not fish there this year. Enough is enough!
      City: Roseville

Tips: Go somewhere where you don't have to sell your boat to pay the entry fee and gas $$ to get there.

      Water Temp: 62-66

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Loomis Basin Bass Masters had a Tourament out of Pardise Point. Blast off was at 5:30, my partner and I went right to White Slough. We started out using spinners, no luck. We went to using senkos in black/blue flake and a brown, picking up all dinks. We traveled all over the Delta using senkos. We ended up with three keepers. Some of the water in the backs of the sloughs are clear , some muddy. The tide swing is only 2.5 ft so work the backs of the weed line for most the fish. This will change some.
      City: rocklin

Tips: The best color senkos are watermelon w/green,red and blue flakes. let the lure sit before picking it up.

Report: Fished the AC Pro-am. Prefished on Thursday and found a decent bite on jigs. Nothing big about 4 lds tops. Friday the front blew through and we had post frontal and tournament pressure on Friday-Sunday. Bite got very tough, especially for me. I did have some success on smaller fish on the offshore rockpiles in the South arm of the lake with a dropshot. Nothing great but some post-spawn fish were showing up. I was not able to fish those areas the way i wanted with the weather but there should be a few decent fish in those areas.
      City: SoCal

Tips: We need to quit announcing tournament dates beforehand so the fish will not know when to quit biting.

Report: Gentlemen (I use that loosely here) Why can't we all get along??? We used to get some great reports and it was enjoyable to read the comments and reports from Shasta. God went to the trouble of providing a place where anyone can catch fish and enjoy the beauty surrounding Lake Shasta so let's just be grateful for small favors and Gods bounty. Johnny , hope you're back on the water soon and bring Jerry with you.

      Tight lines and good luck

      Water Temp: 65-72

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Got there 2:00 after work. Started over by the channel point dock, no bites or hits there with small fluke. Moved over to a rock around the corner from there. Throwing a bone colored vixen topwater had a fish follow all the way back to me and swipe at it. I throw the fluke back at him. It comes back with no tail. So I throw the drop shot back there and without shaking it or moving it, on the cast I feel wait and set the hook. And shorlty I land a 3lber. Not bad. I move down around the front of the pool, throw drop shot out to the bouys in front of the pool, and the same thing on the cast the fish picks it up but this one is heavy and moves just a little so I know its a fish. I set the hook and the fish jumps straight out of the water, its a nice fish. I get it in, in about 4 mins. its a nice 6lber. I have a weigh bag, so I load it up in the car and take it to the booth to be weighed and photographed. I get back to where I caught the fish and catch a few more smaller ones about 1-2.5. I then move to the left almost to where the cove is, and throw out to the bouys. I bring it back and about 4ft the bank it get it bit and hard, I set the hook and the fish makes a b-line to the bouy. it comes up and shakes its head and its huge. I estimate 7 plus. Its pulling drag really hard so I back off it and start gaining line. The fish starts coming back and boom gets a second wind and takes off, after about 5 seconds of running I feel the hook pull out, aaaahhh. The hook comes back and its shaped like an L.
      City: Oakley

Tips: This was last Thursday things have changed a bit. Most of the fish were shallow after that cold front two days of sun brought em shallow. Topwater was the ticket a day ago.
