Water Temp: 50-55
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: launched at packers at 5:30 went over and found a couple creeks feeding into some trees flipped a big football head jig-and-pig, good results second cast picked up a nice 3 pounder after that was slow until around 8:00 caught 2 more 1 1/2 pounders then called it a day.
City: reddingTips: bite as a little slow fish lots of water real slow.
-
Water Temp: 54-57
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: went out today and had one of the best days in a long time. I have fished the banks of Jones valley for six years now and not many have been like this one. About 25 bass in six hours time{7am-1pm} and all from the bank.I had one 13" small mouth and the rest spots ranging from 12-17".They killed a fast shaking worm near bushes in 8-15 feet of water. The more clear the better.
City: REDDINGTips: Clear green and brown mothers finest worm in 6" worked the best from the boat ramp down to the J.V. mouth.(BUSHES)

Water Temp: 54-57
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I launched at jones valley about 6am; and took off up the pit to reynolds creek. water was 54 and falling as I was going up. caught one at the mouth of reynolds and started working my way back to the ramp. Fishing was slow today.caught four dinks by 10am. they all bit light colored worms, in about 10-20 ft of water. All fish were 11-12". I had went out friday and the bite was better; and fish bigger. The bite was REAL SOFT today; caught one by just setting the hook when I got ready to "reel in".VERY windy for my little 14` gregor. So I got out early.
City: AndersonTips: don`t forget the plug.

Sonoma Lake
-
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: float tubed all afternoon up at yorty creek. threw spinners, cranks, plastic craws, worms, top water, all colors and no luck until about 5:00 pm. I got back in the weeds right where the creek comes in and found the spawning beds. Hooked a huge fish on light line with a split shot rig, 6 inch red worm with blue streek. fish are really white but fight good and fun to catch. endend up catching only one but lost two to my light tackle.
City: rohnert parkTips: try to get back into the weeds with heavy line and most likely a bait cast rod and reel(flippin stick) throw brush hogs or big spinners ito the weeds and let them drop on the beds.

Water Temp: 58*-64*
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Drove up saturday mornin to meet with a couple of buddies, dropped all my nonessentials off like cloths and food.Arriving about 6:15,My partner already at the door, like a big dog ready to take a pee,and so we head out.Begun throwing spinnerbaits in shad pattern, well Chris picking smallie afterr smallie, one of them a 3.5lber,i hadn't yet felt the rythm. The rythm was a slow role and i think my blades were too small and fast,so i tried another of my home mades with some more thump and well that hit it home for me.We were nailing them dead all through Putah Creek.Spots, more Smallies and an occasional largemouth.should of cranked, however didn't,afternoon came and it heated up,not the bite, but the climate and water. It slowed up and we resorted to yamamoto grubs ,watermelon w/red flake ST.,@about 12-18ft.It was kinda of difficult to remember what was under all that water, that was the highest i've ever seen it.The bite sure seemed to taper down as more boats arrived. There was a tourney at the south end and not many made to the north,So we got bass throught out the night and the next morning and sat. day and got the heck outa there around 4:30.I'm tired now fellow bass fisherman,The bite is pretty nice however, alll species of fish biten, picked up a 4lb cat on that grub."Anyways".
City: FremontTips: HAVE FUN AND GET OUT THERE EARLY FOR THE BEST BITE I THINK,DO SET HOOKS,CAUSE JERKS ARE FOR FREE,IT MIGHT BE A LUNKER

Water Temp: 56-60
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Spent today guiding Norman & Lucas Bowden. Young Lucas fished our Pro-Teen last year for the first time, got so hooked on bass fishing he convinced his dad to buy a new Triton, now they're fishing the Future Pro Tour together. The purpose of this trip, and the next 7, is to work with these two in showing them how to, not only patter and catch seasonal bass, but to effectively prepare and fish for a tournament. And did I mention ta have some fun!
We started our day at Markley going over the Lake map, the species in the lake and seasonal patterns. I explained to them, to win on this lake, you need to pattern the largemouth first, the other two species will follow and fill in your bites. Then off we went to go find some fish. We sarted with a jig-n-pig, a ripbait and a Jig-n-grub. First cast dads got a nice 2 pound spot on the brown purple jig-in grub. Cooch then misses two fish on the jig-n-pig and ole Lucas is now putting down the ripbait. 15 minutes later I put the first largemouth in the boat on the jig-n-pig, three keeper spots are added to the well before we move and fish a laydown tree and I pull another 3+ largemouth out of it with a bigger fish trailing behind(obviously the female!) I then put a 9 Series 215 SENKO in Lucas' hand and commences to put 4 really nice spots in the boat. We bounced around all day catching a total of 22 keepers and a number of shorts. Best five, which included 3 largemouth(7 total), that went just over 13.5 pounds. The water was purty stained up by afternoon due to ALL the boat traffic on the lake, WOW, this weather sure brings em up to this lake early! Coming back through the narrows to Markely was like ridding down the San Jaquine heading to Ladd's at 3:00 on a sunny June afternoon. Great fishing day, and not too bad a catching day ta boot for a lake that's yet ta pop wide open.
City: OakleyTips: Brown - purple 1/2 oz football jigs caught the majority of our fish. The largemouth & smallies ate the pork, the spots took to the double tail 209 trailer. The Senko worked well in clear areas. Our fish all came in the top 10 foot water zone on steeper rocky banks, with the three best fish coming out of the tree top of lay down trees. Fish have still yet to move in numbers, look for them on the deeper transition walls. Late afternoon, rip the mudlines!

Water Temp: 61-64
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Started out the day in the break. Could not help but notice the AM water temp in the 60's. Tried ripping a clown lucky craft, flipping Senkos and a PBJ bump in the tules but no takers. Started throwing a Persuader double willow (wht+char) farmed a 4.0 @ the boat and landed dink.
Headed to Franks' and caught 3's and 4's+ slow rolling the blade. Caught 4 fish from 11:00 - 12:00 weighing over 15.0.

City: folsomTips: All of the bites were pressure bites!!! Set the hook on everything, I would have had that first fish had I known.
-
Water Temp: 62-69
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Pre-fished a few mornings during the week down south with fair results. Focused on a shallow flip bite near spawning areas. Blk/red jig, watermelon/red senko, blk/red and watermelon red brush hogs all produced a slow but consistant bite of 2.5 -4lb fish with a 6.10 thrown in for good luck. Sat headed out to the Break for a change of scenery. By 9am (around the high tide turnover)my girlfriend and I boated 15 fish with several 4's and a few 3's. Sun, fished the AC semi-pro and headed back to the break. Almost 2 hours without a bite, then came the tide change and Bam! 5 for 16.32lbs put us in 8th with a small check. Unfortunately, I farmed a 4+ right at the boat which would have moved us close to 3rd. But that's why it's called fishing and not catching.
City: TRACYTips: Morn water temps are holding in the low 60's. We found several fish already starting to bed in protected areas.

Water Temp: 60-64
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Headed out with my friend and I for the second day in a row. Figured out what the fish were doing the day before and had to come back. FOund fish on the east side in shallow water. Most of them coming from 5 feet of less. All fish were hugging the trees. Caught all fish on purple jigs with a yamamoto twin tail trailer, and white spinnerbait with white blades. Most fish hit the jig. Nothing to big all pound largies and spots here and there. Biggest was just over 2 pounds hit the blades, even caught a 4 pound trout on the blades??? weird fish, came off a tree?? 23 bass total for the day. good luck.
City: Citrus HeightsTips: I know people read these reports, looking for a hot spot to fish. I have nothing to hide, fished the trees on the east side. Feel free to share your info too.

Water Temp: 51-60
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Water warmer in main body. 5 degrees increase between 6am & 3pm everywhere from bright sun. Fish hit cranks & spinnerbaits (especially early) and Texas rig green/brown worms. Relating to dropoffs but not brush or trees. Senkos worked earlier this week, but not today. Most fish 10-20 feet deep.

Water Temp: 63
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: fished hard with little success. Kyle got one and I lost one. Nothing big. some one said they got a 6-lbr. but who knows if they were telling the truth? It will be a while before the lake realy turns on. give it some time to clear.
City: Santa ClaraTips: give it a try at least the weather is nice.

Eastman Lake
-
Water Temp: 63 to 67
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I had to come back since I did well the day before started similar to the day before but as soon as I started casting the bass were biting. I took one of my buddies that had never been there and he loved it. My first fish was a three pounder and I was pumped, I had 3 three pounders by 9:00am. Got in to a real nice one that would have went 8 or 9 pounds but luck was not on my side and the fish was able to spit the hook. The fish were biting all day around 12:30pm I caught a 5.1 pound bass. Nice fish that just made my day me and my partner caught a couple more and then called it a day. I ended up with 17 fish and my partner with 6 fish, my biggest five would have went around 16 pounds today so bringing my two day total to around 33 pounds, good enough for me. See ya out there and good luck!!!
City: CoalingaTips: Just get on the water the bass are everywhere and they are active as can be. Try shallow but don't sit in one spot all day, it seems that fish move in and out all day. Good luck and God Bless.
P.S. lots of two to four pounders on both days.

Folsom Lake
-
Water Temp: 53 - 59
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: The water was colder than I was hoping. As we left the dock in 57 degree water that quickly changed to 53 in the south arm. We fished shad pattern spinners and cranks with no luck until we found mud lines. That was the tickets for the rest of the afternoon. 3 in the boat and went home with a nice tan and a great afternoon of fish stories to tell.
City: South Lake Tahoe -
Water Temp: 56
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Anyone fishing Folsom lately would know the 5 lb tasty morsel is a false report. The bite has been good on ripbaits, darterhead, jigs, and blades. The key is to fish shallow flats under 10' of water. Was out this morning 6 am to 10 am and caught 8 spots. All were 2 to 3 lbs very chubby fish ready to spawn.
Watched the N B tournament weigh-in on Saturday that had around thirty boats.Every boat had a limit less three. The average fish was 2.5 lbs.Large fish was 4lbs.I dont think many of the big girls have moved in yet making the 5 lb tasty morsel story more likely a prevarication (lie)
City: Granite Bay Ca.Tips: If your not getting bit, move.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: There are NO legal guides for San Pablo. EBMUD requires a permit to guide on San Pablo and there are currently no permits issued. So if anyone is guiding on San Pablo they are doing so illegally.

Spring Lake
-
Water Temp: 52-56
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: got to the lake around 7:45am. Water was still pretty muddy missed one fish in the tules be the boat dock. Fished out toward the north side of the lake, saw a lot of movement in the tules as if bass were chasing bait fish but couldn't find the bite. Of the 6 boats and 4 belly boaters I spoke to only 2 had caught fish, one on a white spinner. Not sure what the other was caught on.

Tulloch Lake
-
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: This lake is on fire!!!! Bass were on beds everywhere. My partner and I caught 25 or more bass.90% came from beds, all released.Mostley smallmouth but the largemouth were not to shabby. The biggest fish was 4lbs and not to many under 3lbs. Seen one fish over 8lbs cruising in Black creek.
City: OakdaleTips: Fish were in about 4-10ft of water. If you see a bed, chances are their is gonna be a fish in it.
Those fish were tough to see.The smallmouth will hit just about anything, but the largemouth were a bit more finicky. Also caught some rippin the main lake points.
