Report: Put in @ 10:30 out of Markley, picked up 3 fish in the first hour on a brush hog around structure, all tourney keepers, nothin big. Zoomed up north to putah creek and it was not worth the trip, muddy cold water and debris. Tryed to find fish in the small coves around the northwest bank and did'nt get any bites. Went back to the narrows and threw blades, got a nice 2.5 smallie and 2.0 spot, stopped in Markley Cove just before the launch ramp and nailed 2 spots on blades, 2.75 & 2.0. Still learning about how to fish this lake.

Tips: Targeted banks with shore structure going to deeper water, found all my fish tight to the cover and the bank.

      Water Temp: 58-61

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Arrived at the lake around 11:00 and found the temp to be about 58. Put the boat in and while waiting for my partner to park the truck had a fish on at the dock using a 5in. stick bait in silver/blk back. The same bait produced another 4 fish with a bunch of short strikers barely missed. Lake appears to be in prespawn with some smaller male fish moving in and out of the shallows. The best bite was at the end of the day on a drop shot rig fished right on the dam (the structure) wall that produced many fish, with about a 2lb. spot being the biggest.

Tips: don't just sit there, go get 'em!

Tips: Had to hit them on the head with something small and subtle. Try black w/ red flake. R
