Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: This message is or Donald C. Osborne....Mr. Osborne, you appear to be very much in tune with the events that transpire in and around the Quarry Lakes area. Can you ill us in on the "Shocking" o Largemouth, Smallmouth, and even Stripers rom all o our surrounding bodies o water to stock the Quarries??! This includes Chabot (which has a population o bass I could probably count on one hand!) This was done without a permit-But o coarse, "IN THE NAME OF GATHERING DATA" right? I you have zero knowledge o these events, pardon me. I you do.... Give US all a break, please?!

Water Temp: 46-47
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: In a whim I decided to hitch up the 520 and go to Clear Lake so I would orget how to get there!! My wie said I was crazy - like she hasn't said that beore! I knew the og wouldn't be too bad with a ront coming in, and I thought the night bite would be ok since it wasn't too cold. I started at 10 pm, throwing a black/red brush hog. I was ishing one o my avorites ledges near Rattlesnake Island. The 4th cast produced a heavy eeling and lo and behold I had a ish on! It turned out to be 6-13, and at!! I called my wie right away on the cell to see i she still thought I was crazy. She did!! She probably had the last laugh since or the next 4 1/2 hours I got 2 bites and one o them was 1 pound!!! Boy, there went my average in a hurry!! I ished several good areas, but to no avail. I don't understand why it was so dead, but it was. Anyway, the lake was beautiul with the cloud and og ormationss and dead quite! I didn't see or hear a soul, except the coyotes!! Interesting - just beore it started to rain - about 2:45 am, carp started to roll just like someone had turned on a switch. But not one turned on the bass. I sure was happy with the one I got - a beautiul, clean bass!
City: Yuba CityTips: I just ish brush hogs and Weapon jigs - didn't try much o anything else. I saw ish on the bottom, catish or bass, but they wouldn't bite. There is a possibility that the eed soon ater dark and I missed it. I really had some quality time however! Sorry, the only tip I can give is - enjoy your Christmas season!!

Water Temp: 47-51
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Just a brie report on the past two trips - one last Friday with a riend when the water temp was 51. We caught 20 bass in about 4 hours, using 6" worms, drop-shotting, and Rodstrainer jigs. We had lots o quality spots, but only up to 2 1/2 pounds. Yesterday I guided a regular client or most o the day, and what a dierence in the mood o the ish ater several very cold mornings! The water temp had dropped 4 degrees and they would barely take the jig. My client even lost a big bass ater a good hookset - couldn't understand why. A lot o the ish had moved too since the lake has come up 9 eet. We did manage to land 18 bass with the biggest a largemouth right at 3 pounds that just thunked a jig - best hit o the day!! My client got a nice 2 1/4 lb largemouth too. We caught several that were barely 13 inches and even 2 that were undersize. Still a good day under tough conditions.
City: Yuba CityTips: We were targeting steep walls and underwater ledges. Most o our bass were caught over 25 eet deep. The sun was warm in the aternoon, but all it did was to turn them o. Go igure! There was NO late aternoon bite. So we went home!!!
