Out this morning at 0515 at Centimudi, lots o debris at the ramp, air temp at 57, ran over into the lower Sac around dolly point throwing jigs, spinner baits and worms or 9 in 3 hours, no size to speak o, largest went 1.8 and got o the water at 0830 or an appointment, lake still has a lot o small stu loating around and we are still only 2t and a little bit down, chartruese and white on the blade, brown/ green jigs and the MGM 6 inch eel in color # 109. Report: Launched out o Spanish Flat at 7 am with partner Dick. Fished the wood and points in cappel Cove without much luck. then went down to the narrows, and ished rom about 8-4. Caught 21 ish--all smallies and spots to 2#, including one large mouth and one nice trout on a Senko! No reaction bite. Not much on senkos either. Almost all the ish came on 4" split shot with chartruse tail. Purple with a vein seemed to work well too. Also purple with blue and red lake. Most ish ound under trees (they wouyld swim out rom the trees and hit the worm on the all), on points, and sometimes on the back end o coves. Fairly aggressive hits at times--other times very subtle pressure. Beautiul ish.
City: vacavilleTips: Used 8 lb but had lots o break os on the trees and wood; might use something a bit stronger on the wood next time. #1 hooks on the 4" worms. Only one ish on Spittin Image but was that un. No rip ish this trip. Most ish about 6-10 t--cast to shore and slowly drag out with a ew shakes.

Report: Two days o warm weather, a couple o days beore a ull moon, some ish still spawning, why didn't I get a ish? Was loat tubing in windy weather on Monday, threw senkos, spinnerbaits in various colors, some crankbaits, even jig and pig, but not a bump. Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Wow the sight ishing bite has started to turn on. Decided to play hookie rom work or a bit and hit Calero rom 4:30pm-7:30pm. Was supposed to ish with Chad rom Fishermans Warehouse in SJ but he was unable to attend due to an emergency. I decided to start out throwing a 1/2 oz white persuader spinnerbait with white double willow lea blades and a white buzz bait. Nothing on the buzz bait but the spinnerbait helped to locate the bed ish. When a bed ish was ound I would then lip/pitch to the bed ish to determine i the ish would go or not (some are just too spooked during the spawn). Ended up catching 8 ish total-- 2 1.5lb males dropshotting, 4 3-3.5lb males on t-rigged plastics and 2 on a spinnerbait (a 3lber and a 5lber). Best 5 went about 19-20lbs and ended up missing or leaving about 6 bed ish alone. In all it was a good day on the water and a good practice or Clear Lake this weekend. Water temp is way up rom 5/3 as I was reading 67-69 in the coves.
City: Los AltosTips: You can't catch ish rom behind a keyboard and monitor. Get out there anytime you can within the next 2 weeks as the bite is deinately on!!! Fish are shallow in protected areas rom the wind. I you're unamiliar with bed ishing this lake, throw a spinnerbait until you spook the ish and wear polarized sunglasses. Tight lines!

Report: On Sac arm rom 1730-2030. Using spinnerbait, deep wee-r, shadrap. Most on spinnerbait, but I use it the most by ar. Found the ish ollowing but not hitting or hitting short. Added the tail o a paddle tail 4" worm, so it extended about an inch beyond the skirt on the blade. Worked great, no more ollowers or short strikes. Got 11 in the boat, best 2 lbs. Spots and smallies. My avorite blade was torn apart by a nice smallie. Guess it had been bent back into shape too many times. Alot o un.
