Deep tailings and the Swit Creek Break provided the best action. When the lake cools a little more and we get some rain the Kokanee will start to spawn and the action will be as good as it gets or a ew weeks.

Report: My irst time on Folsom in nearly a year. I have a real love/hate thing or this lake!! Started out in the South Fork looking or a topwater bite. The morning wind made inding suitable water tough. Threw buzzbait or about an hour with no takers. Switched to a jerkbait or awhile, nothing. Then went to crankin steeper rock walls and smacked a 4lb 1oz spot. What a ish!! Big at belly and very healthy. I've never caught a bass that ought harder than this ish did. Continued on this pattern but turned up no other takers. Tried jigs, and dartheaded worms in both the South and North. Got a couple bites but couldn't get anything hooked up. Got ran o the water by waterskiers and wakeboarders about 1:30. Ended up with just the 1 spot and 1 channel cat about 3lbs. Both on cranks. Not a great day, but that big spot made my week!!
      City: Sparks, Nv

Tips: I wish I had some, I have a terrible time getting bit with any consistency at Folsom.

Report: DO NOT FISH AT LEXINGTON NOW!The current lake condition at Lexington is now very bad due to the extremely low water level. Water drops so much that I can see the old bridge. Water is about 5-10% o the ull volume. There is no water at helipad and any o my hot spots. Actually more than three quaters o the lake are now dry. And the water is very muddy. Every creature (turtle, duck, and ish) are now packed in to a small spot at the deepest portion o the lake. The shoreline is very sot and slippy. Your legs can sink easily and deeply in the mud. You can't reach the water unless you are willing to sink hal o your legs in the mud. The closest you can stay without sinking is about 15-20 yard rom the water. I also see a lot o bubbles. I don't know there is enough oxygen or ish or not. Ducks, birds, and turtles are taking this advantage to eed. I am not sure ish will make it at this current water condition.I went there this morning but I couldn't ish. I elt bad to see the current condition. Ater about an hour o trying to access to the water without sinking my leg into the dirt, I gave up.I went to Steven Creek instead. I will come back to Lexington but with the camera to make a map. I hope there will be more water. :-(
      City: Stanord

Tips: I you ish rom shore and boat, DO NOT come to ish at lexington now. Float tube might make it but be extremely careul when trying to launch.

Started looking or a similar pattern and played it out. 21 bass with the largest 4lbs, one 3lbs, and the rest were small 1-1.5lb schooling clone ish. Most came on drop shot. Picked up a ew on a hula grub and carolina rigged senko. Put them all back ater a short lecture on how rubber worms can be hazzardous to bass health. Fun time.
      City: Foster City

Tips: Look or top water action in deep water. Look or water owl. That's were the ish are. Use drop shot, sot plastics or reaction baits. Put Them Back where you ound them. Fall is the best time on this lake.

Report: Trout Fishing was Great! Picking up very good now. Launched at Jones Valley and ished the jones valley inlet and up the squaw arm and my buddy caught 4 trout rom 2 - 4 pounds each ish. We were trolling with green crawish lures about 30t down using dipsy divers and deep six divers with about 3t leader. We trolled at 1.5mph seemed to work best. We stayed in the squaw arm and caught several browns and raindbows. Seems like thats where the trout are hanging out now.
      City: Bella Vista

Tips: troll using a diver between 20-30 eet using green crankbait lure (crawish). Ford enders work extremely well using about 1 t leader with green crawish.

Got one small one ripping early. Jerry ished the jig almost all o the A.M.,with ive ish. I caught eleven, while shaking a darterheaded worm, and dropshotting. Shad colored baits worked best or me. All ish were small. We both got one about a pound and 1/4. so we tied or big ish.The bigger ish are playing hide n seek. Back soon or a rematch! The lake was down, but still beautiull. The weather was gorgious also.Soon I'll be a local! Har....

Report: Launched out o B&W. Spent 9 hours ishing with my cousin rom B&W to Mildred Island to Franks Tract and back. Caught a lot o dinks and small stripers. My cousin caught 3 keepers (largest - 2 lbs) tossing a lime green Senko or lipping a blue crawdad. I stuck to tossing a 204GS StrikeKing spinner most o the day and caught only one keeper -4.7 lb in Franks Tract. Tough going or the day rom rude pleasure cruisers who cut in ront o us at high speed when we were ishing some o the submerged islands. Too bad they didn't hit the bottom.
