Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: WELL WHERE DO I START? WENT TO FLOAT TUBE BY MYSELF. GOT A 2LB ON MY THIRD CAST 15'+/- ARONS MAGIC DARTER HEAD. 5 MINUTES LATER I GOT ANOTHER FISH SAME DEPTH SAME WORM. THE PATTERN HELD UP FOR AS LONG AS I WAS THERE I THINK I WAS THERE FROM 8AM-2PM ENDED UP WITH 12 FISH BEST 5 WENT 11LBS +/-. NOW FOR THE REST OF THE STORY......WHEN I PULLED IN TO THE LOT THERE WERE 2 TRAILERS THERE I GOT MY TUBE OUT (USUALLY BRING MY BOAT) AND MY GEAR GOT ALL READY LOOKED AROUND IN THE LOT FOR ANY SIGHNS THAT SAID TRAILER ONLY BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT ANY TICKETS, AND NEVER HAVING BEEN THERE IN A CAR WITHOUT A TRAILER I WAS UNSURE OF THE RULES. I FIGURED IT IS MONDAY THERE ARE 2-5 BOATS IN THE WATER EVEN IF THERE WAS A TRAILER ONLY SIGHN I PROBABLY WOULDNT GET A TICKET ANYWAYS, ALL LAKES I HAVE BEEN TO USALLY HAVE IT PAINTED IN THE SPOTS AND SIGHNS WELL POSTED. I GRABBED MY TUBE AND AS I WALKED OFF NOTICED A NICE PILE OF TRASH SOMEONE HAD LEFT 3 CANS AND A FEW BAGS, I SAID TO MYSELF I WILL GET THAT WHEN I GET BACK, SO OFF I WENT. DONE FISHING I HEAD TO MY CAR GET THERE LOAD MY TUBE IN THE CAR GRAB THE PILE OF TRASH THAT WAS STILL THERE AND OFF I WENT, HAPPILY DRIVING DOWN THE HILL AFTER A GREAT SOLO DAY I LOOK TO FIND A TICKET UNDER MY WIPER TO THE TUNE OF $35. I WENT BACK TO THE STATION TO SEE IF I COULD EXPLAIN WHY I PARKED THERE, WHEN THE BLOND LADY (BITCH) RANGER SIAD PROUDLY I WROTE YOU THE TICKET!! I CALMLY EXPLAINED MYSELF TO NO AVAIL. ALL RANGERS AT ANY SANTA CLARA VALLEY LAKES ARE DICKS OR BITCHES THAT I HAVE EVER DELT WITH. HERE IS THE KICKER THE PILE OF TRASH THAT I HAD PICKED UP WAS NO MORE THAN 4 FEET FROM THE WIPER SHE PULLED UP TO PLACE THE TICKET UNDER. I GUESS RANGERS DONT PICK UP TRASH WAY TO GO ASSHOLES, KEEP YOUR REPUTATION AS WE KNOW IT, I SEE I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE PROBLEMS HERE. THINK I WILL STICK TO MY SIDE OF THE HILL FISHING IS NOT AS GOOD BUT THE PEOLPE ARE A HELL OF ALOT BETTER.
City: SANTA CRUZTips: STAY AWAY FROM SANTA CLARA PARKS THAY ARE FULL OF RANGERS THAT DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT WRITING TICKETS, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DAYS OF A RANGER BEING A GOOD PERSON THAT WAS THER TO HELP YOU AS WELL AS KEEP THE PARK CLEAN. NOW THEY ARE JUST ARROGANT PRICKS W/ A BADGE AND A ATTITUDE!!! THANKS ALOT FOR SPOILING A GOOD DAY BLONDY WHY DONT YOU GET OUT OF THAT DAMN BOOTH AND PICK UP SOME TRASH OR HELP SOMEONE WHO ISNT SURE OF YOUR PARK RULES OR REGULATIONS.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out for a couple of hours first thing in the morning. Caught 2 in the north end right away on a Senko. As the sun came up I fished texas rigged Roboworms in about 15ft of water and caught 4 more. Biggest was one of the Senko fish - just under 3lbs. The rest were 1-1.5lbs. Off the water before 11AM.
City: San JoseTips: Lots of fish to be had this time of year. Fish the steep banks with your favorite plastic baits. Have fun!

Water Temp: 65-70
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out in at 8.00am and fished till 4.00pm. Rained the night before but water wasn't muddy. Hit up the north end. Fished points and secondary points. Caught 3 on a spinnerbaits(shad color) in 4-10 ft of water. My buddies who were with me caught the same amount on spinnerbaits as well. All were dinks to 1.5 lbs. Tried for bigger fish on rock walls and nothin,. Then hit up another big cove and got them on carolina rigged brush hogs. Lots of fish. All were 1lb to 2 lbs. ALso tried south end and my buddy caught one flippin the brush with a senko. He was 1.5lbs. Biggest fish of the day was a 2.5lbr on a texas rigged red senko caught by my buddy Matt. There were a lot of fish at the two first spots we hooked up fish but not any others at other places we tried. So we went back to our first two spots and nailed them again. Total # fish on the boat was about 16. All were small.
City: San JoseTips: Find gradual sloping points and throw brush hogs(watermelon red, junebug, and grn pumpkin)carolina rigged with at least 2.5ft of leader. Work it slow.

Water Temp: 67
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Caught 18 LM bass up to 2lbs. Best bite was prior to the overcast lifting and the wind coming up. Caught fish on 2 rigs - drop shot 4" worm and a carolina rigged brush hog. Fish were active shallow in weeds/grass where either boat waves or wind was direcly pushing into the cover and the water was stained. The fish were not huge but it was fun. This was my personal best at Anderson. It is tough fishing with the ski traffic. Tried spinner bait, senkos and rip bait with no luck but a bank fisherman reported luck on spinner bait around large rocks.
City: Foster CityTips: Use the boat traffic waves to your advantage. They can turn the fish on. Use darker colored plastics in off color water. Bite was aggressive while the overcast blocked the sun.

Report: Fished from 8:30 to 12:30. Caught 6 LM under 2 lbs each. Caught one on a drop shot 4" worm and the other 5 on a carolina rigged brush hog. Drop shot fish was in 20 ft of water near a bluff. Carolina fish were in 2 ft of water near brush on a rocky shore line and a flat.
City: Foster CityTips: Fish are shallow early. I fished a flat with a steep drop nearby. When the ski boats take over go with a drop shot in deeper water.

Water Temp: 52-54
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Well beleive it or not a riend and I ished today. The weather in the bay area was rainy and 35-45 mph winds. The unny thing was at the lake it was calm with maybe 10 mph winds at best and no rain. The ishing was pretty good, caught between 25 and 35 ish and most were 13" keepers or better. The most o our ish came rom steep blu wall and steep rocky points in 5' to 20'. The lures o choice were drop shots in 4 to 6 inch robo worms in anything in green and the better ish came on a new jig and craw combo's rom Conquistador tackle. The best colors were green craw and PBJ. You need to check out the jigs at Conquistadortackle.com or Coyote bait/tackle and Reed's I heard will be carry them. They are in my opinion some o the best jigs on the market. Good luck I hope this helps.
City: San JoseTips: The ish are moving around but you need to stay close to winter area's that lead into staging area's. Electronics are key. The better ish are still out deep near staging area's

CAUGHT 4, ALL ABOUT 13" & 14" ON DROP SHOT AND ONE ON A GRUB, ABOUT 2 1/4 lbs. THE DROP SHOT RIG WAS MARGARITA MUTILATOR I IN 4". THE GRUB WAS A BLUE GILL KALIN'S. NONE OF THEM WERE DEEPER THAN 15' AND ALL OF THEM WERE CAUGHT ON PRETTY STEEP BREAKS WITH DEPPER WATER(30') NEARBY AND LEAD IN SPAWNING AREAS. YOU JUST HAVE TO BE SLOW ABOUT IT AND ALMOST LET THE BAIT WORK ITSELF WITH THE MOVEMENT OF THE WATER. JUST A LITTLE ACTION TO IT.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: A half day guide trip today with father and son team Jeff Silva from San Ramon and his dad Pat Silva of Union City.To sum it up in one word it was Brutal. The mud is creeping in from the north and the lakes getting smaller. I couldn't find a consentration of fish. They did there part and put 8 in the boat with a only a couple of missed fish..I just couldn't find em on this day. The lake is coming up slowly and bait is 20-40. Jigs and 6" worms were getting bit in the am and things shut down after 10:30..
City: San JoseTips: I wouldn't be afraid to throw cranks and blades right now. fishing will pick up with stable weather but thats not going to be for a while..It's still fishable at this point. On a good note the crappie bite is wide open on deep wood!!
