    Water Temp: 58-60

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished this lake for the first time with my buddy from AMR, Gerald Thompson from 8A-5P. We cruised the lake in his boat, and we did very well. He drop-shotted a prism shad roboworm on the banks, and caught 20 bass with an average weight of 2# to my 12. I used primarily Senkos: Natural Shad, Smoke, Pearl with Gold/Black, Pearl with Blue FLake, and Smoke with Copper/Green/Purple flake. I lost a larger fish in the large cove on the eastern side of the lake. I switched over to Drop-Shotting later and caught one fish, but all Gerald was doing was throwing right on the bank, and SLOWLY moving the worm back. I was definitely inpressed with the action, since most was in 1-6' of water, and the temp was still only 60 Degrees!
    City: Merced, CA

Tips: Gerald showed me the way...drop shot Prism Shad with a 3/8 round weight and circular hook 2/0...throw up on the edge..wiggle and wait. The south end under the bridge was good as well.

    Water Temp: 53

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Got on the lake at noon and the wind blew me off the lake 2hrs later with no fish to show for the misery. I hardly saw any fish in the finder and believe me I know where the fish are supposed to be on this particular lake. Fished from shallow to 25ft with drop shot and carolina rig and not a tap. The water needs to warm up before I will try it again.
    City: Foster City

Tips: Wait until the water hits 62 deg and then attack

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched @ 8:00a.m. The water was like glass aound the dam. Headed south and all hell broke loose. Wind started howling and had to keep the trolling motor on 40 to keep the boat still. Managed one about 2 lbs on a dropshot in about 35 feet. Headed north to try to get out of the wind. Didn't help. The day got worse. We managed to boat one more about 3.5 lbs in shallow water, about 10 feet. Had to leave around 11 the wind and rain was just nuts.

Report: I apologize for hijacking bass reports but wonder if anyone has had or seen good crappie action at Anderson lately? I've posted several LM reports here but have not had a chance to check out the lake for several months Crappie fishing was slow for spring as water level was down...mimimal cover for spawning. So, would definitely appreciate any crappie updates. Thanks.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Arrived at about 8:30am and only one boat out before me.Started at the first two point's at the ramp and picked up two small fish on Crankbait. Then went a little farther south and picked four more on topwater about 2.5lb's each.

Then ran down and fished around and under the bridge and saw alot of fish working but tryed more topwater, crankbait's nothing. So I then ran to the north end of the lake just past the two cove's along the steep wall and picked up eight more on drop shot but only about 1.5lb fish.

Finished the day around the day use area back south and picked up two more on a Fluke but better fish close to 3lb's in some grassy cover.

    Water Temp: N/A

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Well got there a little after 8:00 and had to wait in line a bit for the pleasure boat's but they did a good job.Hit the first rocky point from the ramp in 30' and tried drop shot.My first drop I got a loop in my line and by the time I had it out I had a fish on.Ended up with three off that point all typical Anderson fish about a pound maybe.

Left there and went and fished the drop off by the back picnic area at the south end of the lake with same rig but never had anything. Then went and fished directly under the bridge with same and cought four more but two were over 2 lbs.

All of a sudden fish were busting the surfuce for awhile and after about five differant offering's without a look I put on a Kastmaster and cought 7 more fish some very nice for Anderson.

I seen some of the shad they were chasing and I have seen them in here before and they were to me huge. They were all of 3 1/2" to 4" long. Why they would only hit a small 2" Kastmaster is beyond me.
    City: Salinas

Tips: To the group of people fishing off the bank the LEGAL limit on Bass is 12" minimum length and only FIVE.
