Water Temp: 55-58
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Launch out of Berryessa marina and my partner and I made our way up to the north end Putah creek. Soon as we got to our spot I made the first hook up on my own rendition of the whiches T copy and the second and the third all the bass were solid 2.0lbers. My partner and friend switched his worm and started using the W.T. and he started catching nice smallmouth and largemouth bass. I then swithed to a spinnerbait homemade and blasted a nice 4.0 largemouth then hooked into a 3-1/2pounder switched one more time to a lucky craft pointer minnow and stuck 3 nice bass. We had a good day and had we started eariler we may had caught 30 or even 40 bass that day instead we only caught 25.
City: FairfieldTips: Try witches T's, Salt&pepper with chartruse tail 4'' worms spinnerbaits and anything else.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched at Capell Cove and started fishing with 9 year old Son. Rigged up a Carolina Rig Plastic worm with a bullet sinker 3 ft. from the worm. Proceeded to cast about 30 ft off shore. Within a minute of launching hooked into a 2 pound Small mouth. Handed the ploe over to my Son and the fight was on. My Son had a blast reeling it in. The Bass broke the surface and everyone by the launch ramp was watching. My Son was sooooo proud of the fight. Released the Bass right after he reeled it in. About 2 minutes later hooked into another 2 pounder. 20 minutes later my Son hooked a 1.5 pound Large Mouth. Great day for 2 hours fishing.
City: SuisunTips: Carolina Riggin Plastic 4" worms in 20 feet of water.

Water Temp: ???
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: You can find clear water and muddy water. I chosed muddy water and fished from 9AM - 3PM with only 3 bites. Spent most of the PM looking for shelter ... wind was bad and the wind chop was worst. 3'ers all over the main lake. Well, there's a bite of a crank bite. I crank only 2 fish but both were shallow (<5'), both were smallies. Saw the Walton's Pond weigh-in and the winners had almost 15#'s for 7. Think they were cranking too. Walton himself (an avid jig fisherman) said he cranked up a small limit of 12+#'s. There was rumored to be a bite in clear water on a carolyna rigged lizard as well.
City: San JoseTips: say in the bay's and avoid them 3' rollers. Tried that and almost got thrown out of my boat. Try chartrues for muddy water.

Water Temp: 49-53.1
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fishing was tough for me .I caught 4 fish 1 on a 1/4 oz dart head / 6 in weenie worm .The other 3 were on rip baits up to 3.5lbs. The key for me was to find clear water, but the warmest clear water you could find .The creeks are real muddy.A lot of submerged islands are not marked so be careful where you go blasting through.

Water Temp: 49-51
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Partner got 6 (5) after one shook off on the liquid side of the boat. I was tired of netting his fish so he tried to swing a two pounder. Didn't matter- the weigh-in was at 3:10 not 3:30 like he thought. Shakin 6" green weanies 3/16 darter head on a point in skier's cove in 30ft. Reaction bite was there- two lb smallie on a blade over the weedline. Partner didn't give reaction bite time to work.
City: El Dorado HillsTips: Plastics deep off points for numbers, slow roll spinnerbaits for big fish off weedline. Water will warm to 55 by July if we're lucky.
