Water Temp: 50-52
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of paradise, seemed like we had the delta pretty much to ourselvs. fished various spots from there into the south delta. stained water all over with visibility of a foot or less. nice to see water temps starting to come up, 50* was the lowest we saw. still kind of slow. big beaver (a real one) came crashing out of the vines right next to the boat at one location, scared the **** out of us. pretty windy in the larger open areas made boat positioning challenging. fun day

Report: Got in the water around 10. Only had a couple of hours.Wanted to see if it was better than last week. A couple of things. I had some bugs around my face. Good. Oh and now there is some grass( not much) on my line when I brought it up.Also good. Wasn't long after I started think about how good those two things are and POW! 2 pounder!
City: East BayTips: The winter is soon over and the fish ARE biting NOW. The water is going to get real muddy soon and temps are commin up. NOW is a great time to cash in on some easier to catch now than later fish. Bugs, grass, fish!

Report: Same pattern as last week with the jig and drop shot. Only this week had smaller fish, but more of em'.. Really struggled trying to find a decent bite that never happened. Pair of 3's and some 2ish lb fish was all we could muster up. 17 in the boat, best five about 12lbs, maybe.

Water Temp: 45-47
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched at holland marina, started fishing there due to fog, fishing was tough for me again,
tried dropshotting, deep and slow- nothing-,through a tube, chatterbait, spinnerbait, jig, crankbait, small worm (shaking)dark colors, downsized my line. Water temp on the main river is 45 degrees, 47 degrees at the back of cruiser haven and rock slough, spoke to two other anglers who said they caught 1 fish between them. Still had an enjoyable day fishing- better than working!!
seems water temp is on the rise, hopefully the bite will explode soon.
City: MartinezTips: At this time of year spending allot of time on the water would help more.

Report: Had a good day (for this time of year) in the Mildred area. Fished Jigs and slow rolled blades and caught a few real nice 3 and 4lb fish and the rest in the 2lb range. Better fish came on the jigs fished with a shaking motion... Bought the jigs at extreme outdoorsman, they have an excellant selection of jigs. That store is really on the up and up and there are a lot of improvements going in from what I hear, I encourage all to shop there as it has the best customer service of all the stores you will find out in the delta region. That being said, dark jigs, black & whatever as long as is is dark with black and red brushhog on the back. Thanks to Rod and all the guys at extreme angler for putting me on the fish.
City: OakleyTips: Go to extreme outdoorsman and check it out you might be suprised what you can pick up along with some of the best equipment selection Ive seen.
