    Water Temp: 45-47

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched at holland marina, started fishing there due to fog, fishing was tough for me again,
tried dropshotting, deep and slow- nothing-,through a tube, chatterbait, spinnerbait, jig, crankbait, small worm (shaking)dark colors, downsized my line. Water temp on the main river is 45 degrees, 47 degrees at the back of cruiser haven and rock slough, spoke to two other anglers who said they caught 1 fish between them. Still had an enjoyable day fishing- better than working!!
seems water temp is on the rise, hopefully the bite will explode soon.
    City: Martinez

Tips: At this time of year spending allot of time on the water would help more.

    Water Temp: 42

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Had a good day (for this time of year) in the Mildred area. Fished Jigs and slow rolled blades and caught a few real nice 3 and 4lb fish and the rest in the 2lb range. Better fish came on the jigs fished with a shaking motion... Bought the jigs at extreme outdoorsman, they have an excellant selection of jigs. That store is really on the up and up and there are a lot of improvements going in from what I hear, I encourage all to shop there as it has the best customer service of all the stores you will find out in the delta region. That being said, dark jigs, black & whatever as long as is is dark with black and red brushhog on the back. Thanks to Rod and all the guys at extreme angler for putting me on the fish.
    City: Oakley

Tips: Go to extreme outdoorsman and check it out you might be suprised what you can pick up along with some of the best equipment selection Ive seen.

    Water Temp: 37-46

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: If my temp sensors (both of them) are working corretly. This was the coldest I have ever seen the delta. 37 in the marina on both units at 7am, both read 46 at 2pm when I got off the water. I actually had to break ice crystals off my guides for the first hour of fishing. Usually when it's really cold air, the water feels warm in comparrison, not today.. Just plain cold. Anyway the report,, not a single bite for 3 hours, rip bait, drop shot, jig, slow rolled blade in my regular cold water spots, nada. I found a point at slack low with a tree leading out into deep water, got 7 up to 3.5lbs on the drop shot, again tried the jig and blade with nothing. Went to another deep water point to try and duplicate and got 4 more over 2. Had one bite off my third spot and by then the tide was moving in pretty good. Not great, nothing big, very very cold.. Good luck

    Water Temp: 46

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of H&H at 8:30am air temp at 37 degrees and water temp at 46(Berrr it's cold). It was a very nice day winds were calm and the sun was up but the fish were not cooperating and I think it may have been due to the front passing and high pressure building back in. Tried rip baits, slow rolling spinnerbaits, crankbaits, jigs, texas rigged baby brush hogs, drop shot worms, creature baits on jig heads and even crawfish imitators with no luck at all. Didn't run a lot and that may have been the other reason for no bites just didn't cover enough water. I have always had problems locating fish in the winter. Should you try to locate bait fish on the Delta like you would any other lake? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !
    City: EDH

Tips: Don't ask me I struggle on the Delta in the winter.
