    Water Temp: 70

    Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

    Report: Launched from King Is around 8am and got off the water at 1230pm. Fished around that area in Whites and Dissapointment. Caught around 40 bbass and 6 stripers, consistent action. Largest black bass around 5lbs and largest striper was only 19in. Mostly 1.5-2lb and some dinks. Nice day out on the water, stayed cool with the cloud cover and breeze and allowed for topwater throughout the first couple hours, though I slept in.

    Tips: Senkos, dropshot, rapalas, and spooks. Couple hits on frog but no takers today. Outgoing tide the whole time. Have fun.

    Report: Launched out of Paradise. Fished south disappointment without much success and then ran to the Mildred area. Got on a good topwater, plastic and VooDoo bite. Caught 30+ fish in that area up to 3 1/2 pounds. Thanks to Chris Peterson for hooking me up with the VooDoo baits, as they caught the better quality fish. I promised him I would mention the bait if I did well on it, so there you go. The key was to find the deeper tule points with some moving water. I also had good success by finding calm pockets of water and flipping the popper in there. This drew many more srtikes then with the frog.

    Report: Basin BassMasters went out of Ladds at 6am with 11 boats. Dennie Howard and I fished together and our first stop was 14 mile slough at the mouth, Dennie using a black/red spinner bait got our first two keepers. We stayed on the main part of the river for most of the morning using everything but hand gernads. All my fish were under 13 inches, thank God for Dennis 6 lb test line with a split small split and a # 1 hook. We got our five working the outside weedline on this low tide. The winning weight was 15 + lbs with a 7.00 lb largie. Most of the boaters I spook to had the same day.

    Report: fished with my brother caught about 40 bass best five went 15lbs. Finally got a decent frog bite since the wind picked up. Also caught them flipping senkos and lizards and cranking speed traps. stripers were busting the surface near mildred so we stopped and threw topwaters for some vicious strikes. We also saw a seal right outside of franks mauling a 15-20lb striper.

    Report: What a day!!!! I went out with Bobby today & it was just a very amazing day.... No other way to describe it.....

    I couldn't do nothing wrong. First it was frogging (Cicadas) He will go cast over here... Walk Walk - Way stop & next was I got him - That's a good one....

    After that it was the flipping lesson- Fishing pockets of tullies with that new TOMATO or HOT TAMALE beaver... ( Red & Brown) that thing was on fire...

    Got a 6.5lbs, 9lbs & ton's of 4lbs. If you want to learn the Delta you have to give this guy a call today.

    Report: Mike use A Sweet Beaver or double wide beaver in the Caifornia color is working well right now.Top water is also producing good as the day gets hotter use Iveno's splash'it in chartruse and white( use braided line with the Splas'it the lure work much better as the braid line floats and two short pops let it sit and so on they will take it when it is just sitting their most of the time) and your favorite frog bait.Kings Island area has put out some good numbers and size of fish and with all of the tournaments going out of Russo's try all the docks and area around Frank's Track.

    Tips: Stop at Lost Island is always A must not alot of fishing but GREAT NATURE WATCHING!!!! Wind Mill Cove resteraunt has all you can eat Taco's on Tuesday for only $6.00

    Report: Launched out of Veira's around 6 AM and went to a spot that was real hot last week for smallmouths. We got into them again on crankbaits. We got 28 with the biggest going just shy of 3#'s. About half the fish would not be keepers, but boy do they fight. We were off the water by 11:00 AM. Great Day!!

    Tips: Fish down side of current breaks on rocky banks that have shade over-hangs by trees.

    Report: Woke up a little late and didn't get to Frank's Tract till about 6 am. There were boats on every island and bassy looking rock banks. I got in line with the rest of boats and did circles around the islands and played follow the leader on the banks for 22 bass with the best five going a whomping 8 lbs. I threw cranks, plastics, and top water throughout the day.

    Report: Lauched 5:30 am and headed to the ever popular Frank's Track. I caught 37 bass to 4 pounds with the best 5 going 16 pounds flipping and pitching plastics all day.

    Report: FISHING WAS REALLY TOUGH. ONLY MANAGED ABOUT A DOZEN KEEPERS. ALL REALLY FAT.
    LOOKED OVER THE SIDE AND THERE ARE CLOUDS OF SOMETHING SWIMMING AROUND OUT THERE, ABOUT THE SIZE OF A FAT QUARTER. DOESNT LOOK LIKE ANYTHING I'VE SEEN BEFORE, BUT THERE MILLIONS OF THEM ALL OVER.

    Report: Caught around 15 fish early this morning. Used a spook for the topwater bite and got nothing but dinks. Fished a brush hog and got a few bigger fish incuding a five pounder, but still, nothing to bragg about. I popped my braid on something big while fishing the pockets. That's the way it goes. Off the water by 11:30.

    Tips: Fish early, when using braid, check knots and line often! Tight lines!

    Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

    Report: Overall a good day on the water, 7am to 11am, though my winch strap broke as I was trailering the boat. Started off with a 10+lb on the first flip of the day. Continued to catch nothing but keepers ranging from 1.5lbs up to 5lbs, did not catch any dinks. The wind plus the low tide kept me limited to a few areas because I didnt feel like fighting it, but the water temp did drop 8 degrees in some spots from last Thursday.

    Tips: Fish were in the tules, weeds, rocks, and some crusin around. Caught most fish on senkos and only two on red crankbait.

    Report: Windy, windy. Crossed Franks Tract in the morning, but the motor overheated due to weeds clogging the intake. Had a tough time re-starting it, so ended up fishing the nearest % water. Caught a few to 3.5 lbs, including an 8.5 lb. pig on a worm.

    Report: Fished the same areas as Tuesday's report, but we only caught 3 keeper size bass. However, I caught my biggest bass of the year, 7 lbs 2 oz, on a 1/2 oz white chatterbait. Took a couple of pictures and let her go. Nice fat fish with no marks -- appears to be the first time that she's ever been caught.

    Tips: She was caught on the outside edge of a weedbed in about 4 feet of water at the point of an island.

    Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

    Report: Launched out of Paradise at 5:45A and fished Disappointment and Columbia Cut. We caught over 20 keeper size bass and plenty of small ones. Best 5: 15 lbs (largest 5.1 lbs). Biggest fish of the day was a 6.5 lb catfish that swallowed a 1/2 oz white chatterbait right next to the boat.

    Tips: Most of the time, we swam a 1/2 oz white or white/chartruse chatterbait over the top of the weeds or along edge of weedline. Also caught a lot of fish on white spinnerbaits.

    Report: Fished the Sheriffs fund raiser tourney on Sat. Was a little tough due to the winds, but managed a very average 7 fish limit of 16 pounds for 6th place. Lost a 5+ first thing in the morning on a frog that would have really helped the limit, but that's frog fishing. Most of the fish were caught on Frogs and senkos. Though later in the day we pulled up real tight and started to puncture the mats with 1 ounce tungsten weights and beavers. Got 6 or 7 bites this way, but missed most of them . You have to be pretty quick on the hook set when you are using 1 ounce weights. One of the fish I did stick was a monster perch. What is it about the delta that makes the fish act/eat the way they do? Though I guess nothing should surprise me after drop shotting a 41 pound carp 2 years. I guess never knowing when that huge carp is going to hit a d-shot, or when that 30 pound salmon is going to hit a rip bait is what makes the delta so much damn fun.

    Tips: A little bit of a change from the week before. Temps drop almost 20 degrees and that always affects the bite on the delta. The winds really make for tougher frog fishing, by bowing the braided line and pushing the mats real tight together. Oh, by the way, to the nut who posted last week. That was pretty funny. Had me laughing the whole way through. Oh, and to answer your question on what type of knot for the bobber fishing. Definitely double palomar. :-)

    Report: Around 30 bass today. Largest about 6.5lbs on a wht frog in open water. Caught another one around the same size on senko. Otherwise mostly 1.5-2.5lbs. Senko, beavers, spinnerbait, ratltrap, and frog.

    Tips: The bite didnt pick up til around 10am and continued on throughout the rest of the day til 3pm. Weeds, tules, rocks, and whereever else. Watermelon red/blk flake, green pumpkn, chrt/wht, and any color frog.

    Report: Good afternoon guys. I was a resident northern californian for 36 years of my life and fihsed the Delta frequently.

    Two years ago, my job took me to Michiagn. My plans are to be back in Nor Cal sometime in 07.

    I enjoy getting on the web and coming to this sight to read what is going on in the delta.

    the person who is "expressing his feelings" has no clue about anything. Express you first ammendment right on a sight that DESIRES you to do so (and that allows it).

    This site is about what the fish are doing, not about being jealous about another fisherman's skills.

    If D. Pearson is making this stuff up, so be it. He is posting his report as the rules state.

    Don't be so consumed about your sorry fishing skills that you begin to highjack the purpose of this site.

    I enjoy reading the reports and cannot wait to get back to the Delta next year!

    Lastly, one of the differences between animals and humans, is that we have brain's that give us self control.

    Report: Started early, pounding the banks with spooks for small fish here and there. Picked up a few dinks on a frog. Got sick of that so I moved to the Mildred Island area and got my pitch and flip bite going. Caught numerous fish just outside the tule line. Nothing bigger then 3.5 pounds, but a solid bite.
