    Water Temp: 58.6

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Took a vacation day and hit the delta out of Holland. After only 20 minutes of throwing a chartruse spinner bait, hooked a 3lb'er. Worked another island with no luck and then switched to a red speed trap and picked up one of 5 lbs 11 oz's. Caught over 15 fish, mostly buck bass in the lb to 1.5 lb range and another couple of 2lb'ers. When the outgoing tide went flat, the fish quit hitting. Tried all sorts of plastics with no more luck. Also managed to hook up 4 stripers with biggest going 8lbs. Nice an quite day on the water! Only saw 6 boats all morning. Off by noon.

    Water Temp: ?

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: If I read it correctly, only the water in San Joaquin county is closed. I have never fished the Delta and was thinking of going tomorrow, but not if I have to wait until noon to launch. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? For example can I go to the Brannan Island SRA which is in Sacramento County and launch, then stay out of San Joaquin county until noon?

Report: We launched 2 kayaks from Russo's after getting conflicting answers about kayak vs closure. We killed running no more than 1.5 miles from put in. I yakked at least 25 fish with the best five going maybe 20#'s. Spinnerbaits both white and chartruese were the ticket, fishing inside out. I may be out there again tomorrow.

Report: Got some dirty water tips for you...
    City: San Bruno

Tips: Whiskey Slough always has dirty water. A buddy of mine caught his biggest fish (10) out of there this time of year in the morning when the water looked like coffee. The bass are going to be more spread out, but we had just as much luck flipping the bank as we did in the clear water near Mildred and Franks Tract. There are still bass lined up in dirty water you just have to find them...

Report: This past weekend the delta where I was fishing was very very muddy. What types of baits do you use in those circumstances are do you just run and look for clear water. Was only out on the water for a few hours. Any advice would be great. Thanks
