Water Temp: 55
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: After a post on the forum I met Ken and went out of Russo's what a great site Westernbass.com is. It was pretty windy so we found some protected areas and attempted to catch some fish after a few hours I finally got a 3lb on a crank red/blk. Then adfter another hour Ken decided he should (weighted) switch up and started throwing a blk/blu senko and got a 6-lber and then a 3. With not too much convincing I switch to a watermelon green helix and I caught 3 fish all 3 to 4 lbs. Then we went into Taylor and drop shotted 6 fish but all small under 1.5lbs we searched for better ones but had no luck. We went back out to the river and got a couple more on the senko. I went back to the crank and got a 4-lber then an 8-lber and another 4-lber. Ken then lost a good one on a crank but we never saw it. It was tough to catch um but when you got one it was a good one we had a little over 25lbs for 5.

Water Temp: 53-57
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Same basic Report as o-heim. Launched at first light from B&W. Fished the central Delta (including Franks), Whites, Disappointment, etc...fog to start the day, no bites. Bumped around all day. Water for the most part was muddy. Most of the guys we talked to were also struggling. My buddy Scott caught a couple of keepers.
Tips: Hmmm...we tried it all. Beavers or Jigs seemed to produce best.

Water Temp: 58
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of Big Break for a evening bite with my son. I quickly discovered that I had a cranking battery problem, so I dropped the trolling motor and got after them. I went and check the shallows but with the water temp 58, the banks were bare. So we started throwing beavers to the weed line with good success for bites with the biggest fish going about 3Lbs.
City: WCTips: For being out for just a few hours, it was fun, but I am still looking for the bigger fish to come to the banks.

Water Temp: 53.5
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished tues, weds, and thurs; broke the water up in sections from franks to disappointment hitting some different areas each day. Slow bite at times and great at others. After my buddy Brian took an 8.12 last week flippin' I figured that would be tough to beat; I ended up close with an 8.8 on a blade weds. Action seems to be in tight to the tules, look for deep water near by; if theres not atleast 15 to 20 feet drop offs near by I suggest moving till you find some. The fih seemed to be more active in the inclement weather.
City: placervilleTips: Fish tight and slow, choose nuetral colors, and don't leave any stones unturned

Water Temp: 54 degrees
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of whisky slough today about 10:00 am. Fished with the wife until 2:30 pm. Had a good day on the water about 7 fish total all nice and fat chunky females with a couple small males. Threw blades and super flukes. All in all a solid day on the Delta considering Mondays storm, man did I get dumped on.
Success to all this fishing season and safety on the water. The big girls are getting ready to play.
City: TracyTips: Fish inside weed line and fish slow some bites were real aggressive others were almost dead sticking the bait. Cover as much water as you can and most of all have FUN!

Report: 2 of us fished today. Caught 4 keeper size stripers (largest 8.0 lbs) and 2 bass (largest 3.5 lbs). All of them caught on 3/4 oz shad colored Rat L Traps (color code 53). It was cold out there. Not too many bites. Both bass were caught in 5-6 ft of water around an island in the San Joaquin. Stipers caught in Hog/Sycamore sloughs. Tried plastics and spinnerbaits, but no bass bite on them.
City: DixonTips: Glad to have my Fish Hedz mask. Bundle up when you're out there. We were only traveling around 35mph and you could feel the cold.

Tried a dropshot, Hit our first fish. Threw a senko, hit our second fish. Just kept moving. Had a limit by 11:00, Them picked up the crank and now we are movin. Cranked rock banks and culled out the smaller fish. Ended the day with 11.40 Thanks George, it was a fun day.

Water Temp: 50-51
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Tried fishing some new water today and managed to burn a little gas. Ran towards Potato and Connection to try the islands. Found fish here and there mostly on the tops of the underwater ledges with access to deep water. Stuck a couple of stripers on a jerkbait as well as a few bass. Most fish came on plastics fished slowly.
City: walnut creekTips: Fish plastics slowly near the edge of underwater ledges. Some bites were obvious but the larger fish seemed to just suck the bait in. Darker colors seemed to work better. Bring rain gear!

Water Temp: 53-54
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: 2 of us fished Hog and Sycamore after the storm from 6:30A-2:00P. My buddy had 1 bite for the day. I had 4 bites and hooked 3 fished (2 stripers [7-8 lbs each] and 1 catfish (2 lbs) on 3/4 oz Rat L Traps. Saw 2-3 boats in each slough but no seemed to be catching any bass. Saw a sea lion in hog that was having fun catching and eating the tail end of several catfish since we saw front halves swimming around.
City: DixonTips: We threw Rat L Traps, spinnerbaits, and senkos. The storm and full moon turned off the bite. Will try again next week.

Water Temp: 62-70
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Put in at New Hope and ran to Sycamore. Fished for three hours and got 2 on a jig and 1 on a drop shot to 2 lbs. Also tried pitching a Senko and Sour Puss for nothing. Tried cranking weed flats and tossed a frog for a little. Temp just inside the mouth of the slough is 65. As I got further in it reached 70, probably should have went in furhter to start.
City: Elk GroveTips: Can't offer much, not a lot of experience on the Delta so 3 hours was hard for me to pattern anything but I suspect temp may matter in the sloughs.
-
Water Temp: 52
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I normally don't like reporting crummy days, but it sounds like I was not alone. Cold and windy all day with only one 2# fish. Fished Diso Bay and Orwood Area using jigs, senko, and crankbait. Only managed to get one on the crankbait and it was caught around grass in 5-10' of water and no wind. She was feeding because she caughed out a big craw.
City: SacramentoTips: The water temp dropped. Cover water with a crankbait and then work slow in the same areas with a jig or senko.

Water Temp: 52.9
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Started the beautiful day fishing bottom of tide for stripers. Caught two and lost one in rip rap. Once tide started to move, fished tight in the tules on the incoming, just a few up to 2lbs on worms, both wacky and texas. Color didn't seem to make a difference. White wacky and watermelon texas. Action seem to be better at the beginning of the outgoing at Franks.
City: SSFTips: Bite extremely light. Fished very slow and tight into tules on Helix and senkos.
