    Water Temp: 67-69

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Jim Ryan and I got in the water at Wimpy's @ 6am. no winds and the temp was around 60 degs. We started fishing right away with the high tide all most ending. Jim's first came on a rattle trap. Slow bite so we move during the slack tide to Beaver slough. Not find much until the tide started moving about 9:30, then some fish started to bite on Senkos, JK Jigs in black/purple. Lost one off a tree and bent my 3/0 hook. Still a good and a good hamburger at Wimpy's.

Report: 3 of us launched out of Disappointment at 6:30A. Had one of the greatest days of bass fishing. By the time we quit at 1:30P, we had caught over 40 keeper size bass plus tons of small ones. Had 15 bass that were 2 lbs or better (largest 2 were 4-11 and 5-0). Best 5 was around 20 lbs. Smallest fish of the day were a 4 inch black bass and striper. Fish were real aggressive.
    City: Dixon

Tips: Shad colored Rat L Traps in the early morning and spinnerbaits in the afternoon in the weed beds around islands. The bite was consistent all day.

    Water Temp: 73

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Was able to fit in a day of fishing on Sunday. Started around 6am on white slough. Caught a 2.5lber on first cast with spinner then caught a few stripers in the next hour on prop bait. Lots of boat traffic and a very low tide. Moved around to different areas waiting for tide to come in and caught a few more bass in the 2lb range on spinner and crank. Did not run into any good action until around 1:30pm. Caught a few more stripers, some crappie, and a good bunch of bass of mostly small size but still fun on light line before it got way too hot. Limit at around 13lbs.
    City: stockton

Tips: Fished mainly weedlines for most of day because of low tide. Watch for stripers and black bass chasing the little fish. Black bass were schooling in some areas and were very aggressive. Used spinner, crank, prop, and a small beetle jigspinner.

    Water Temp: 73 degrees

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: We launched out of Rousso's in Bethel Island today for our usual Saturday trip at 5:30am. The fish were smashing shad on top in Frank's tract. Fished a buzz bait first and my partner a vixen. Nothing the first 30 minutes. The I threw a red/black buzz bait down a grassy cove and ther was a huge splash behind my bait but she did not his the buzz bait. So I reeled it in and cast the BB again past where the splash was and boom 5.5lber whacked it. Later things slowed down caught some schoolie stripers and little buck bass. Moved to a different area and threw a frog for a while and had several blow up but no connections. Moved to another area and fished a brush hog. A 4.0lber whacked it. A couple of casts later a two pounder. A good day on the Delta for a beginner. Three keepers for 11.5 lbs. But boy was it hot!!!!
    City: Antioch, CA

Tips: A buzz bait early in the morning, later Senkos and brush hogs are the ticket. Green, brown and junebug with red, or purple flakes will all do the job.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Was on the water in Disco by 5 am left at 10pm. I landed about 25 fish. Biggest was a 4 1/2. total about 16 lb. sinkos way back in the shade worked ok. Drop shot draging in the shallows produced dinks. Jigs right off the bank was the ticket for me. As soon as it touched the water they were picking it up and going deep. Was hard to catch up to them even with a 7 to 1 reel. Nothing really big though. Frogs probably would have done better but I was trying a new jig rod out. And whats the deal by people tying ropes between the docks? I lost a few really good fish because of that little anti fish tactic.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Started out of paradise. Crack of dawn. Water all the way out. Not much happening for a couple of hours. Then bang bang bang two fours a three all in about 20 minutes. Worms and seinkoos. Went up whites and my buddy bags a 5 lber. he's thinking his dollar big fish is in the bag. He He.He swings a little wide of a tullie island and I pitch into a nice 6lber. Da Damm. Best five went over 21 lbs today. Saturday same place could only nail 2 nice keepers? Sure like the delta on weekdays.
    City: orangevale

Tips: Incoming tide best today. Rocks and tullies with wood. Worms dead ringers and gator tail worms I've had for 25 years worked today. Seinko got the 6 lber. Shallow in no more than 5 feet of water. Braid line with floro carbon leader. Hang On.

    Water Temp: warm

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished Whiskey Slough from shore for once. Started around 7am and fished until noon. Cruised around until I found fish about 1/2 mile from the marina, about 300 yards from the tule island. Fish were stacked up on weeds growing near a pipe that goes under the road into the water. Caught 3 LM (largest 3.7) and 2 striper (both shakers). Even pulled out the ultra light rig with 4lb test and caught 4 huge bluegills on a gold panther martin.
    City: Fremont

Tips: Bass don't seem to be on top anymore...all were caught on a baby brush hog in pumpkinseed color (texas rig). All LM were before 9am.

    Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Same club event as capt jack. Fished northern dead end sloughs. Couldn't get to my bb because of strippers everywhere. I had a blast with my super spook. Must have caught 15 to 20 keepers, all around 22 inch size. Tried to crank below them no luck, buzz bait more strippers. Only worms and seinkos moved slow enough to get through so we caught 12 small bass 2 nice keepers. What a blast catching those strippers. My partner bonner was getting frustrated cause he needed the points. We tried to find my pre fish bb but strippers were just to thick to get em.What a difference from a week day to a weekend. Must have had min 12 to 15 lbs each time I pre fished same spot.
    City: orangevale

Tips: Keep a swim bait rod on the deck this time of year. Strippers are more fun so I'm gearing up for strippers until the water hit 50 degrees. On a normal bb trip you can top water early crank and worm afternoons. Dead ringer worms texas rigged watermellon red flake been real good.Same color brush hogs.Best time of the year comin up hang on to that rod.

    Water Temp: 69-71

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: The water temp is dropping, but the bass are still hiding. I had a small club out of Pardise with Bassin Bass Masters from Loomis. Good day for fishing, had the keepers by 7:30am with White spinners and white blades. Senko but was off and so was my jigs. Sweet Beavers Texas style for some was working. My partner Dennie Howard was draging a 6 lb line with a split shot using a lizard got most of our keepers on the out side of the weeds. Crank and blades was working for others. Dennie and I finished 2 nd.

    good luck and have fun.
    City: rocklin

Tips: fish alone the rocks and moving water, inside the tules on high tides. Frogs we got some blow ups and top water was slow.

    Water Temp: 74-75

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Several personal firsts on Saturday. First buzzbait fish (dink)in Disappointment. First frog fish (3.8 in fourteen mile). First catfish on a senko. The wind made fishing a senko a bit hard in the late morning and afternoon so we went to blades and topwater. It took an hour throwing the frog to get that bite and I was turned around saying something to my partner when she hit. I swung at the sound and hooked up. Next time I need to see the strike.

    Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: caught about 15 fish at milldred island and big break. this was my first time at either one of these spots. Seems like high tide is a must at both because of the heavey shollow weeds. caught a 4.5 on the second cast of the morning on a buzzbait. The rest of the fish came on senkos and t-rigged worms

    Water Temp: mid 70's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: 3 of us fished Hog and Sycamore sloughs. On the water at 6:30. Had 3 limits of bass and 3 stripers by 9:30A. Best 5 only weighed around 11+ lbs. Off the water by noon. For the day, caught over 20 keeper size bass and a lot of small ones.
    City: Dixon

Tips: Most of the bass caught on white or char/white spinnerbaits (including 2 of the stripers). Since it was high tide in the morning, fished over the weeds and the fish were there even though it was a full moon the night before.

    Water Temp: 70-74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished on monday15 and tuesday16. Probably one my last fishing days for the year because of school and hunting season opening. Fished white slough both days. Monday was windy and a low tide for most of the morning. Caught a couple of stripers before catching any largemouth. 12 keeper bass and a few stripers but nothing larger than 2.5lbs other than a 10lb 8oz cat. Tuesday was calmer and cloudier with some sprinkles. Nothin on topwater and it looked like it was to be a bad day, my favorite reel broke then the rod it was on broke. After that the bite turned on. Then after 30 fish in the day and being used for 2 years my favorite spinnerbait snapped in half. Other than stuff falling apart I had a decent day. Did catch a 5lb on a red shad senko. Stripers are still active and fun to catch but not there are not many keepers around.
    City: stockton

Tips: Senko and spinnerbait. Weedlines and tules, look for tules adjacent to deeper water. Watch for boils, stripers and largemouth are boiling together in some spots.

    Water Temp: 69to71

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

    City: oakland

Tips: spooks buzzbaits and crank baits. the fish did'nt want buzzbaits today but last week they did . with the cold front this last week the temps dropped a few degrees so the fish wern't as aggresive

    Water Temp: mid 70's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished Disappointment today with my cousin Gene. Caught a 4+ lb bass on the 3rd cast using a wh/char spinnerbait. In the next 20 minutes, we caught 3 more keeper size bass (2, 3, and 3 lbs). Gene was using a white spinnerbait. We caught 12 keeper size bass. Largest 5 = 16+ lbs. Off the water by noon.
    City: Dixon

Tips: Caught most of them tight in the weeds. Most of keepers caught on spinnerbait (1 on a Rat L Trap). No top water bite.
