Water Temp: 75-78
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Early start on Disappointment again.Tide was high.Started throwing prop, spook, popper, and buzz again with only one strike. Sun rose and with little success so switched to senko, grub, and spinnerbait with immediate results. Caught mostly 1lb upto 3lbs on spinner and only dinks on the grub. A couple on senko. Largest was just over 5lbs on a senko. Caught 16 keepers. Best 5 total was 17lbs. Off water by 11am again.
City: stocktonTips: Topwater was not the ticket for me again. White kalingrub, Chrt/wht spinner w/nickle willow, and cinn w/purple flake senko.Wtrmelon w/redflk senkos seem to have lost their magic. Fish were located in tules because I dont like to fish the rocks or levee side and seem to do well enough in the tules.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Started off @ first light down south w high tide and dead calm water. Went to work on a grass flat,,was dead sticking a white frog in the open pockets. Had a couple small bites then a small keeper. Next fish went 8lbs 5oz and was a perfect football, nice.. Stayed south a few more hours alternating between the frog and buzzbait...lots of bites but not many over 2lbs. Moved over to Mildred around 10 and started buzzing (very slowly) grass lines and pockets. Got five more in the boat three being 3lb + fish. They were absolutely expoding on the buzzer when they bit, very cool.. Off the water @ noon, best five about 19lbs

Water Temp: 78
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: On the water at 5:45am,later than I wanted. Fished Disappointment slough.Used a buzz and a prop bait for topwater. Caught a couple of 3lbrs right away along tules on the prop. Then caught a nice 7lb striper on the prop. Once the sun rose some more used brushhog, wht grub, and spinnerbait.Nothing huge, many in the 1-2lb class but even more dinks with the largest bass at just over 4lbs.Caught almost 30 fish, a couple of those were stripers and crappie.Off water at 11.Nice day out on the water.
City: stocktonTips: Use prop bait early before sun hits the water. Buzz still seems to be a slow bite for me. As the sun rose began to flip spinnerbait, brushhog, and grub into dark pockets in the tules.White Grub produced the most but were mostly dinks or crappie. Wht/chrt spinner along weedline or flipped into tules.

Water Temp: 75 - 78 on GPS
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: On the first spot a 5:30 am- used a storm rattlin chug bug in a frog pattern, threw between the bank rock wall and the weed pockets, let the rings disapate, the bigger fish hammered it then,
the smaller fish hit it on the way back to the boat had a four fish limit by 7:30 on the bug, threw a 3X type senko and found fish tight to cover in the weeds after the sun came up, culled two fish, 4 fish weighed around 15 lbs off the water by 10:00 a.m. Also had two dinks on the bug at 1 time.
City: MartinezTips: I replaced the rear hook on the chug bug with a red treble hook, just let it sit, it seemed to drive them crazy , a couple came out of the water
and went down on the bait to eat it.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out for last 2 hours of daylight down south during low tide. I had just picked up a couple big obnoxios looking Persuader buzzbaits at Delta bait and was itching to give em a try. We targeted outside bends w deep grass and low current. My very first bite on the new buzzer was a 10lb 1oz toad,, what a way to break in a new lure, my second was a 3lbr and actually broke the wire. In all fairness, the 10lbr made a real mess of it and had to be bent and twisted back into shape. I guess I'll be buying a few more. Got about 10 more but no size to speak of...

Water Temp: 75-79
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Ryan Mckinley and I started out at Paradise Point @ 6am. Went down Dissapointment using frogs, Buzzbaits with a out going tide. Low at 10am. This is not the best time to be using a top water lure. Switching to a Senko and JK Jigs in dark colors we found some small bass. Moving over to White slough working some of the rocks and water pipes we found some biger fish up 5.0 lbs. on a senko in Smoke with Purple flake. With the tide swing @ 4.0 feet work the outside of the weeds and the big inner pockets. Later we had lunch at H&H waiting for the tide to came in. Working the White at 1:20 the sun was hot hot. Not many boats out , some came out later for the high tide.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I sold my boat recently and while I am waiting for my new one I decided to go out with Bobby Barrack guide service. What a day. The guide coundn't be nicer and accomadating. We nailed fish most of the day in and around franks. I landed a 7 lber on a senko and several 3-4 lb frog fish. We caught good quality fish all day.
City: bethel islandTips: Fish with Bobby Barrack's Perfect frog( you will know why when you put them in the boat) Also give him a try if you want to learn new technique or just get better.

Report: Sorry, I kind of messed up last report but I had to hurry to see In To The West on TV. Keep the reports coming and any help on Clear Lake will be greatly appreciated for September Anglers Choice tournament. Thanks in advance.
City: Las Vegas NevadaTips: Conservation.......
You have a one of a kind fishery in the Delta. -
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: My son-in-law and I fished Dissapointment and Whites for 2 days and caught fish everywhere we went, but nothing over Drove around to 3 Lbs. Lots of small fish. We drove around to Big Break on Tuesday and fished some spots that he knew and caught several fish over 3 lbs with biggest going about 5 Lbs. Total weight around 19 lbs. we did not get on a frog bite as we wanted to, but also did not find the mats that we expected. We only make it up there once a year and need more info on current conditions. Hope to see you next year as this is one of the best waterways in the country that I have fished and you guys that live there are so lucky to have the chance to fish it all the time. Good luck and please take care of your great fishing water. God be with you.
City: Las Vegas NevadaTips: As we could not get on the frog bite we where hoping for, we caught most of our fish on plastics
and spinner baits. Flipping was most productive during high tide and working around weed lines produced largest fish we caught. Conservation the key to keep your great fishery. -
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Have problems fishing low tide
Tips: Any advice on low tide would be great. Thanks

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished the Bass Busters tourney on Saturday with my partner Sego and it turned out really great. Launched out at Hollands ramp at 5:00AM til 6:00pm with a split in the middle of the times. We caught all our big fish around Rock Slough and the Channel but suprisingly, we had no luck at Franks Tract. Anywayz, use buzzbaits in the morning, 6" senkos in the noon, and rattletraps w/ a crawdad pattern along the weededges when the tide gets low. Thats what put us on the map. Goodluck!!!!!!
City: San JoseTips: Like I Said, use buzzbaits in the morning, 6" senkos in the noon, and rattletraps w/ a crawdad pattern along the weededges when the tide gets low.

Water Temp: 66-71
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Small turkey shot by John Lowe of Loomis. This was a two fish limit and in by 1:00. With the wind on the west side of the delta and the tide at high going out Dave Shaw and I started in Franks. Using spooks, frogs around the mats had no luck. Working outside Fanks finding some small bass on Senkos. Moving to the east side of the delta to H & H (little White) finding no winds and some keepers for our tourament. Using a JK Jigs in black/purple with a smoke grub finding a 3.5 lb,2.0 and a lot of 1-1 1/2 lbs. We made our way back to Fishers Cut around a old pier got another 2.0 to add to our limit, culling out one. The winners had 10 lbs for two fish. A good windy but fun with my friends from Basin Bass Masters of Loomis. Thanks John and John for a good day in the Delta.
