    Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: launched out of paradise and went into disapointment and actually had a pretty good day compared to others i talked to. first ten minutes i already had 3lber right in front of the marina on a spinnerbait. 2nd spot caught a lot on senkos, cranks and lizards with one good one that went 5-2. after that it was just too darn hot. best 5 was around 17lbs.
    City: lodi

Tips: pretty just went junk fishing with no real pattern. red cranks, white spinnerbaits, and watermelon plastics all worked for me. but when i found the fish they were really stacked together.

    Water Temp: 66-69

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the River today with Steve and Jason, started out pounding the deap rock banks with a jig-n-grub & Beavers, put 12-15 fish in the boat to 3.5 pounds. Then found more post spawners willing to eat Beavers and 7X Kut tails in Fishermen's pitching to the pockets in the deep grass beds. Made a run to Franks and found a poket of nice fish in a group of tulles caught flippen. Topwater bite started to pick up and put some good fish, 3-4 pounders in the boat on Spooks and buzz baits. All in all, excellent fishing day with over 50 fish, most of them keepers, we did have a few REALLY small fish that weren't as big as a Spook, our best 5 going about 17-18 pounds.
    City: Oakley

Tips: Water temps have cooled down again and seem to slow the early topwater bite, it does pick up in the after noon. Lots of fish in transition from post spawn to summer patterns on deep rock banks and grass beds with deep water near by. Although no big fish, the overall bite on this cloudy over cast day seemed much better than the last couple of weeks.

Report: Man finally after 2 months I get onto some quality fish. Not the quality of some that post but after the 1-2lb size fish over the last couple months it was a nice change.

Started off with a 5lb spook fish near Franks and throughout the day caught another 10 fish on the spook with the average around 2-3lbs. Started cranking a nice rock wall and caught a good 20 fish on a blue/yellow crank biggest 3 lbs but the majority were dinks. Then stuck a 3lb frog fish in the break with a couple dinks.
    City: san jose

Tips: Glad to see the bigger fish are coming alive. take care

Tips: Cast between the weeds and shore, let it rest and a slow retieve to hook up! Senkos in almost any color and anything with red in it. Bass were spitting up crawdads at the boat!

Report: Spent couple hours on white's. very low tide. shallow cranks in shad pattern caught 5 and one on a senko. Anyone see the tornado north of HWY 12 today. After releasing a fish I look up and see a funnel cloud. I was like that is cool then I look down and see that it actually touched down. Once it had lifted and disappeared the wind kicked up and called it a day.
    City: stockton

Tips: Fish caught on shallow cranks in shad pattern. Senko was in motoroil/ red flk

    Water Temp: Didn't Pay Atte

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched from River's End Marina (formerly Del's)at 9:30 a.m., off water at 6:00 p.m. Fished my way up to Discovery Bay and back, working hard for three small cookie-cutter keepers, a pound each. Two of them fancied watermelon baby brush hogs and the other a white 3/8 oz. spinner bait. Enjoyed 30 minutes of bonus fun catching and releasing 10 or so stripers, all 15-17 inches. They were busting baitfish on the surface approximately 200 yards from the marina, still in the "No Wake" zone. Quite a feeding frenzy...boil after boil but no birds in sight. Caught all of them with the white spinnerbait. Much to my surprise, they ignored my Storm swimbait and Rat-L-Trap which I tried just for grins. Went back to the spinnerbait and WHAM!!! Finally, the wind kicked my butt in the afternoon/evening...can't figure out how to operate in such adverse conditions.
    City: Santa Clara

Tips: Only my second visit to the Delta. Still in the "receive mode" when it comes to tips.

Fished an opening to franks tract and caught 5 bass to two lbs. on magic craw sweet beavers and crawfish crank baits. Went back to Sugar to p/u friend and stayed in Piper Sl. to keep out of wind. Picked up one on a white buzz bait about 2.25#. Tried some other openings and got fish on craw crankbaits no more fish on plastics. Went over to holland cut using cranks and spinnerbaits and pick up 8 more to 2#. Ended the day frog fishing but got no blow-ups. Off water at 2:30pm. Water temp started at 69.2 and ended at 72.4, sunny and windy.

Report: started the day at big break. hoped it would be like yesterday. ron gets a fish on his second cast with a spook, buts thats all we get in the break. headed to franks. fished a few new spots with not much luck. went to some of our go to spots and start catching some. by noon the best fish was a 3lb11oz, not bad but not like yesterday. with the tide just starting to move again i thought we'd try one last spot , we started getting a few small keepers an than bang , i hook a good one. she jumps than makes a run for the weeds than under the boat than i finally get her. what a nice fish 10lbs 2ozs. that was my 9th fish for the day, my brother was'nt doing so well, he only had 5 so i thought we'd hit the spot where i stuck a 5 westerday. we worked down the bank, and just as i said ,(we didn't any from here down) he swings his rod and it doubles over . he says, it's a good one ! it makes a jump , an we both go (oh my god) she comes straight to the boat and lip her. after high fives we weigh her , what pig! 10lb15oz !!! we've never caught two 10's on the same day , this a first. what a great day 15 fish total. best 5, well i only weighed three 3.11,10.2,10.15. well somewhere between 28 to 30lbs

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished a Police/Fire fund raiser event out of Russo's on Sat. Thurs pre-fish went well. Armed w a super spook, my first fish went 6.8 followed by another 6 and three more solid 4lb fish all in and around Franks. I didn't catch the seven keeprs I'd need on game day but w 25ish lb bag for 5 I was off to a good start. Fri went out with my girlfriend to new water from Franks to the Break. First fish again on the spook, she goes 6.2 then four hours without a bite. Made a few moves and switched over to kermit. Ribbit, ribbit, kawoosh! A solid 8.0lb and another 4. Picked up a few more 2's and a 3 tossin blades and pitching beavers at low tide on the weed lines inside Fanks giving us another mid 20's day this time for 7. And a nice pic.

Game day started off very frustrating. I dumped a 4 right at the boat when she jumped over the net. Had another 4 come completely out of the water w the spook in her mouth never touching a hook. Then I lost a pair a 3's and was about to call it quits, this just wasn't my day. Fortunately my girlfriend was on, putting a solid 3 1/2 in the boat and got the ball rolling. We stayed on top all day and just never got the big bite we needed, oh well still a fun day for about 16 1/2 lbs. Winners had 26lbs and a beautiful toad just a hair under 10lbs reportedly on a frog.

Report: Fished around Stockton area, Whites and Dissapointment. LOW LOW LOW TIDE....Lot's of weeds already!!!! Nailed a nice 9+ on a Brushog in Red w/ RED Flake. Concentrating on Rock w/ Tule, Wood Etc. Had a BALL after work started at 3:30 til Dark. Biggest fish came late afternoon around 4ish! Caught 25-30 fish w/ best 5 going 24+lb. Flippin' and Top-Water did the trick...BEST DAY EVER on a low-tide!!
    City: Stockton

Tips: Throw all the way on shore and drag slowly to the boat....fish seem to be schooled up. Lot's of dinks and missed hooksets..be patient, bigger fish are mixed in.

    Water Temp: 64-67

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the outgoing tide today starting at the Break. I've never done well on the low tide so this was my day to try and learn something new. Wind is STILL blowing so the water is dirty. Stuck a few small fish in Sherman then ran to Franks. Fished the outside of weed edges for about 6 or 7 fish in the 1-2 lbs range. Decided to try something different and ran to Mildred at the bottom of the tide. Different didn't work. Got nothing. Fish seemed to be schooled up so if you get on, keep fishing the area, others are around. I have on fish hooked and another followed it up and tried to take the bait away!

Tips: I had my best luck dead sticking the bait for a little while. If I moved it to soon not bite. Leave it sit and the fish would pick it up and swim off.
