    Water Temp: 76

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the same turkey shoot as capt Jack.Fished with my old delta rat pal Big Al. We fished around Franks early throwing black buzz baits. I stuck a 7 lber but wrong kind of bass. Bass are bass so I kept throwing the buzzer. We threw them all day. We kept hitting moving water and grass. Went as far south as disco bay. My big fish was 5.50 and als was a nice 4lber. My 5+ culled a 4lber. We had a nice 19 to 20 lb. 5 fish limit by 10 am. Big johns lunch was very nice. Too bad one more guy didn't show up. If 20 boats fished I would have gotten 2nd 60 40 split. So next time everybody show up. It was a really good bite till the tide changed. With the wind blowing in and the tide going out the waves were in the 3 foot range on the main river. Lots of fun trying to throw buzz baits into the gain winds.
    City: Orangevale

Tips: Right now throw buzz baits early and often. Seinkos ready for the short hitters. Fish shallow grass with current.

    Water Temp: 77-79

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: STARTED OUT AT FIRST LIGHT IN THE TRACT.. by 7am we had about 6 fish including a four caught on a wacy worm and a five caught on a frog.. no buzzbait fish.. about 11am ( which was about low tide) the spinner bait bite turned on .. i caught about 10 fish in the next two hours between two and three pounds.. i figure my best five went about 14 and my partners about 12.. only differnece was we went down this one bank with him in the front cranking a speed trap and i followed up with a spinnerbait . he caught several dinks and i caught about the same number 2-3 pounders. they just liked the spinnerbait better ....not bad for post spawn .. no huge bites but a four and a five is ok ...
    City: WSUNNYVALE

Tips: plastics on high tide and spinnerbaits on low ....fish were real aggresive. i even had a worm hanging over the side of the boat about a foot under the water while i washed my hands and a 2 pounder came out from under the boat and grabbed it . when he saw ne it scared him as much as me..

Report: fished disappointment for a couple hours then moved to whites. caught over 20 fish. lost a whole bunch of fish on spinner, put on a trailer hook but did not get another bite til I took it off. caught fish on buzz, crank, grub, senko, and spinner. most fish caught on disappointment slough with largest at around 6lbs on a senko. those guys on the airboat lastweek sprayed almost everything in white slough because almost everything including the hydrilla is dead or dying.
    City: stockton

Tips: fished tule and weed edges most productive.the deeper the water next to the tules the better. used a chrt/wht spinner for most of the day, motoroil/redflk senko, wht grub, red crank. Spinner and senko were most productive and produced larger fish.

    Water Temp: N/A

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Decided to spend a few hours of July 4th on the water. Started in Discovery Bay and ended up on the Old River south Rivers End. Got 6 keepers on a variety of baits including Senko, spinnerbait, frog, Zipper Worm and Sweet Beaver. Lots of undersized fish caught on 6A craw colored Bomber. Got miss strikes on plastic buzzbaits.

The water south of Grant Line is extremely muddy. That may have factored into our (lack of) success. There weren't but three boats on the other side of the wing damn, but the fish didn't cooperate. Driving back to Disco at 1pm on the fourth will test your driving skills. Lots of cruisers, wakeboarders, skiers, jet skiers and tubers.
    City: Discovery Bay

Tips: Shade and current is where the fish came from.

Tips: Alot of hungry fish out there. Just throw it and they'll hit it. Remember to keep throwing the frog in open water. I got 4 today.

    Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Took the boys out for a day on the river. The general plan was to avoid the crazies on the holiday weekend, so we took the slough "less traveled". That turned out to be a great decision. No boat traffic to speak of and our best five in at just under 16lbs. Big fish came on a speedtrap off outside weed edge, 4.41lbs.
    City: Benicia

Tips: Found most of our fish right on outside edges of the weeds,a little deeper than last week.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished Whites Slough Monday and Disappointment Slough on Tuesday. Got a late start on Monday and the wind was as bad as the fishing. Tuesday had the best wind conditions yet this year, but fishing still slow. Top waer bite very slow. My fishing partner nailed a 4.5lb on a Frog early AM. Nothing on Buzz baits nor Spooks. I saw 2 guys Running around on an AIR boat both Monday and Tuesday, they were spraying something on the Tules. Might have been an herbacide. Tuesday Beavers, Senkos, and Robo worms were consistant producers. Caught a total of 20 fish, average was 1.5lbs
    City: Sacramento

Tips: Cast like no-ones looking and fish like you've never been skunked.

Report: Tough day on my fourth visit ever to the Delta. Put in at Holland at 10:30 a.m. and fished up to Frank's Tract and back till 6 p.m. Only two dinks on baby brush hogs for my effort. Tried spinner baits, cranks, dropshot, frog, buzzbait, etc. Obviously I still have much to learn about Delta tides, current, wind, post-spawn habits, etc.
    City: Santa Clara

Tips: Keep posting what you know about the Delta so others like me may learn from your experience. Thanks.

Report: launched out of paradise and went into disapointment and actually had a pretty good day compared to others i talked to. first ten minutes i already had 3lber right in front of the marina on a spinnerbait. 2nd spot caught a lot on senkos, cranks and lizards with one good one that went 5-2. after that it was just too darn hot. best 5 was around 17lbs.
    City: lodi

Tips: pretty just went junk fishing with no real pattern. red cranks, white spinnerbaits, and watermelon plastics all worked for me. but when i found the fish they were really stacked together.
