Report: Launched out of Holland with Mike (My Bullet), fished the Holland area, with Senkos, Swamp Donkeys, Buzzbaits, Spinnerbaits, Crankbaits, and Jigs..A few bites, all dinks, some even not much larger than the crankbaits..Caught about 6 keepers, they were all about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 pounds..Couldn't or didn't find any larger fish..The wind played hob with some of the areas we wanted to fish..Over all another great day of fishing, just not on the catching part..

Report: Windy day. Started at Franks - senkos and drop shot (Zero Fish). Went to Mildred and p/u 3 dinks on spinnerbait. Went to Rock Slough to get out of wind and p/u 1 striper. Moved back to the Franks area and found the fish in a 50' section of Rocks and pilings at bottom of tide, 12:30. P/U 15+ fish on cranks. Fish on 45 min. feeding frenzy: the first couple of fish, empty belly then the larger fish started to hit and all with full bellies. Fish still on small side up to 2 lbs.
    City: South San Francisco

Tips: Fished Wiggle Wart and Rat L Traps in Craw colors on rock wall with some wood covering. A few hits off weedbeds but fish active in windy sections.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished around Mildred Island and Middle river on Saturday. Caught close to 30 fish on topwater, blades and cut tails...only three were keepers. I thought the bigger baits would weed out the little fish, not today.
    City: Sacto

Tips: Biger fish came on soft top water bait which I only had two of, oh well will make sure I have more the next time I head out.

Report: Started out late today (10 AM) lauching out of Wimpies. Fished Hog Sloug and Sycamore. Found fish close to tule walls that were out of the current, and wood. The areas without current are usually at the minor bends of the sloughs. Major bends such as those that direct the flow of the current do not hold spawning and post spawning fish. I used Senkos, Wave Worms (Senko imitation) , and Black Jig with Yamamoto twin tail grub. The final tally was alot of dinks and three keepers. The three keepers added to 11 lbs. Not bad for three fish and the bottom of the tide. Pulled out at 4 pm
    City: Sacramento

Tips: Find fish in current breaks and outter weedline.

Report: I had two client today from Japan. Started at 7:30 in the morning from Franks Tract and went just below Quimby Island. It was low tide. Couldn't find to much with this tide. Left there and went to Disco (Kellog Sl) found some small fish on windy points. Left there and fished the mouth of Lido Bay. One of the client crank a 3lb'er and a couple of dink's, current. By this time one'ish the tide was starting to roll in.

Headed for middle river and started fishing above Union Point. The fish were there near current but in calm water. Both client flipped limits, biggiest fish went 4.01lbs with two 3's and many 2's or less. We were catching them on Robo's 6in FAT in Ayu and Oxblood/Red Flack. Most of the fish were near a break in grass pockets getting ready to move in too the main bank. Best 5 went around 14 and change. Went back to Old river and on to Franks with a fish here and there. Most of them were around 10ft. By the end of the day 5:30ish they had 20 fish between them. On too Berryessa for tomorrow. See what the fish are doing there, Probably totally diffent LOL!!!!!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished White's Slough from the bank, this time for 3 hours, started an hour earlier than yesterday and had 4 bites that first hour, one small keeper, all on Texas Rigged Kut Tail. Was thinking it was going to be better than yesterday, should have knocked on wood as I didn't get another bite until 9 AM on a Senko and missed it.
    City: Elk Grove

Tips: Still getting bites from weedlines and edges of pockets. Got two bites today from the floating "lillies" and saw other activity under the lillies pushing them up and even some tail slapping. Try throwing a One Ton Rig, I'll have some in my pocket next time.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished White's Slough from the bank for a couple of hours this morning. Three fish, only one keeper, all on a Senko. Tried spinnerbait, rattletrap, and even the frog for little. Very cool breeze. Surprised not to see more boats in the area given the big tournament and the very dirty water throughout the majority of the system. White's was definitely cleaner than most of the Delta we covered during our Sunday club tournament.
    City: Elk Grove

Tips: All three fish close to shore during high tide and on weed edges. Didn't get any bites slipping the Senko between laydown tules.

Spinnerbaits and Strike King Bitzy Jigs (red/black) was the ticket for me. All bass came off the deeper rock side during the out going tide.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Loomis Basin Bass Masters had a Tourament out of Pardise Point. Blast off was at 5:30, my partner and I went right to White Slough. We started out using spinners, no luck. We went to using senkos in black/blue flake and a brown, picking up all dinks. We traveled all over the Delta using senkos. We ended up with three keepers. Some of the water in the backs of the sloughs are clear , some muddy. The tide swing is only 2.5 ft so work the backs of the weed line for most the fish. This will change some.
    City: rocklin

Tips: The best color senkos are watermelon w/green,red and blue flakes. let the lure sit before picking it up.

Report: Put in at sunrise outta Holland. Partner and I caught dinks consistantly inside the weedline. Senkos are automatic. 5in pumpkin, red or green/pink, rigged weightless w/ 3/0 gamagatsu. Caught 20 between us from 6:30-12. Wind got crazy by noon. Biggest fish was 4lbs at the end of the day.
    City: Danville

Tips: Best bait I've used for this type of bassin' is the Senko. It works all by itself. Leave a slack line and watch for the pull, then bury that hook...

Report: Fished the usual Bethel Island areas. On the water at around 7 this morning off around noon. Third flip a solid three pounder. Flipped a beaver to a good looking hole and stuck a nice one, a hair under 8lb(see photos). Only managed about 10 a few on a drop-shot and a couple fluke fish and of course the Beaver.
    City: Walnut Creek

Tips: Water was clear in some places and murky in others. The dirty water was the ticket today!

    Water Temp: 66-68

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Made the flight to fish my favorite place, the Delta. Fished from May 12-14 and was disappointed. The tide was different and only lasted a short time. Managed to catch 15-20 fish each day, but the biggest was only 4.3lb. We used Senko's 95% of the time. Watermelon/Black Flake and Pumpkin were the best. Also caught a few fish on White spinnerbaits. Caught the majority of our fish around Mildred. Also had some luck in Fourteen Mile Slough. The fish were outside the tules in deeper water, 4-8 feet for the Delta, and in a post-storm pattern. Fish slow and when you find the fish, fish that area hard. It seems the spawn is over, but if the weather holds, fishing should pick up again.
    City: San Antonio, TX

Tips: Senko's, Spinnerbaits, Crawdad Rat'L'Traps, and Sweet Beavers. Fish slow and cover a lot of area until you find them.

Report: Went out today with my buddy around Mildred Island. First hour was pretty good for me, landed 5 and lost 3. most fish around 1lb to 2lb. The bite went off as the tide stopped moving. later in the afternoon, my buddy started to picking up some more fish on the ratl traps. No big fish.
    City: Fremont

Tips: Pitch beaver to the tullies, work your bait slow. Rattle traps is doing the trick also.
