Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished the Waltons Tourney(Out of Ladds) today with Durbin. We weighed 7 fish for 17# & change.(6&3/4# kicker) Today, we caught about 15-20 keepers, but almost all were small. Our better fish were caught on cranks(big one ate a Speed Trap) or flipping(Yesterday). Numbers(for us) were caught on a T-rigged grub. Most fish caught on rocks & weeds, with deep water access, and current. DDawg
City: ModestoTips: Cover water!!! We didn't fire up the big motor till 8:30am. We had our 3 best for about 12+# by then, and were down to 14 mile slough.

Report: Went looking for some new water up north today. found a few nice spots but didn't catch much. Tried a dead end slough with no luck. Caught 3 LM (All about 2#) on a black jig with blue trailer. 2 of the fish were holding on current and the 3rd came off a rock pile on a bank that was loaded with wood.
City: BrentwoodTips: Don't know! I'm still trying to figure this bite out. One day crank baits seem to be the ticket, the next it's a jig or a worm. Fish hard and stay warm!

Report: Me and my dad launched out of del's this morning at about 6:45. At about 8:00 we caught 4 fish 2 of which were my dads(both keepers). The fish were all caught near piles of wood and riprap with deep water near by. The biggest fish was caught on a black/red glitter brushog and the other was caught on a speedtrap. My two fish came on a 4" brown worm c-rigged.We fished until 1:00 with no more bites.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out for a fun day with my father-in-law. Fished the San Juaquin and Frank's Tract/ fisheman's cut area. started off a little slow, but by the end of the day we had caught 10 bass (three were keepers for about 7 lb.), 9 small stripers with four being in the 18"--23" range, and one nice 14 lb. steelhead. All fish came on rattle traps or cranks aside from our largest bass (3 lb.), which came on a pop'n image. Spent considerable time flippin' with absolutely no bites. Reaction baits were definitely the ticket. A little slow at times, but a lot of "chuckin' and windin' " will yield some fish. Look for current rifts and eddies, as exactly none of our fish were caught in water that wasn't moving. Current seemed to be the deciding factor.

Report: Fished the Hook Tournament Sunday. My partner and I turned left out of the runway and fished the West Delta all day. We caught about 12 bass in the first 15 minutes of the stationary tide, none after that until 2:00 and the turn around of high tide. Of the 12 only 4 would weigh in. We fished hard from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm with not a single bite. Had fish going in the areas, but couldn't get them to go. At 2:00 with the outgoing tide we started to stroke them again. Caught about 15 fish from 2:00 until weigh in. Culled 3 of the 4 morning fish in the afternoon. Finished 9th in the tournament with 15+ lbs. For us, had to be at the right place at the right tide. Time spent on the water is the only way
City: pittsburgTips: Caught smaller fish with a Yamamoto twin tailed grub fished on a number 3 Yamamato series 59 Sugoi Hook. Our success came off a Speed Trap. They had to be fished in the heaviest weeds we could get them through. Fish would only hit them when a change of direction occured from ripping them out of the weeds. Shad colored pattern was used on both baits

Report: BRRRRR wet and cold for the turkeyshoot, but I did manage many fish just couldn't locate big enough ones.Me ands my daughter Amber caught 20 + fish but none over 2-1/2 I caught some on 1/2 oz black and blue jigs (pork trailers) and some on s-20 worms Amber caught all hers on "the worm". We fished mostly in or near strong current, throwing the jigs in the edge of current, and worms in the eddies.....
City: TracyTips: Wear a waterproof outer jacket before a long run in the morning, even if your all bundled up and warm with your thick coat or carhart suit on, or what ever ,the dewpoint in the morning is very high or especially this time of year the fog. Either will completely soak you in a matter of minutes and you don't even realize it until your cold and wet....now miserable....and possibly getting hypothermic...been there done that....being bad or tough is only in your mind, your body is human and mother nature will remind you of that reak quick...........

Report: Launched with T-dog out of Ladd's on Sunday. Fishing was slow. We did a lot of running around (never launched out of Ladd's before). We were looking for spots for next year's tourney season. Caught 2 dinks on cranks on outside of weedlines. Caught 1-3 3/4#'er on a woym in about 8' of water off a weed line with rocky bank. Not much current flow. Any good spots in the area? Better luck next time, we will fish longer on next trip. Later!
City: San JoseTips: Keep the line wet as much as possible, outside of weed lines seemed to be the best.

Report: Fished Sunday. 15 Fish total. Some on cranks but all keepers came on Jigs. Bite shut down after 12:00. Fish were relating to edges of current. nothing in calm water. All fish were in less than 3 ft. of water. Very windy and cool throughout the day.

Report: Fished the CAST Turkey Shoot Saturday and the Hook Tournament Sunday with Mike R. Caught most fish in Big Break area. On Saturday I stayed away from our primary water and searched for some other fish. Didn't find much. On Sunday we hit some spots that have been holding fish lately, but only got 5 for 13.06#. Some spots had fish and some didn't. The fish we caught were all on the edge of current near seams. We caught one on a blade on a weedline with current, one on a crank bait on the deep outside bend of a slough with moderate current, and three flipping jigs and worms in a protected area near strong current.
City: BrentwoodTips: Search current seams and high flow areas with crank baits or blades and pay great attention to the current flows, fish seem to want to move just into the flow or on the edge to feed then pull off to calmer waters.

Report: Got out late tonite but at least an hr on the water is better than nothin, fished in the south Delta (of course) actually went to a new spot that had 1 to 3 ft of water at the bank and 8 feet on the outside of the weedline there was scattered wood ( dry at low tide) on the bank and the tide had started dropping but was already screaming out, it was all I could do to stay put on 24 volts -( time to upgrade) any ways I managed 5 fish with 4 of them keepers and the biggest was 3 + not bad for an hr. Amber managed to stay warm but thats about it.I caught them all on black and blue jigs 1/2 oz -its the only one that would stay on the bottom, I hope this helps someone for this weekends shoot I know its been tough for some, see ya there......Micster
City: TracyTips: Throw up tight to the bank and slowly slid your bait out in the current, usually right as it enters the current WHAM !! at least tonite it was like that..good luck..

Report: Fished Stratos Tourney Sat/Sun. out of Big Break had pre-fished three out of four days prior to that and two days the week before, getting bigger limits each time out. Up to 18 lbs. Did'nt have a clue on Sat. everything had turned off to what we were throwing prior to that. Weighed in two fish for four lbs, but most others were also under the ten pound mark so I did not feel real bad, well not until the second day, caught only three legal fish Sunday and all those were in the last half hour. Hell of a time to figure our a pattern! huh. We'll Statos paid down to fifty spots and we came in fifty first. Winning team threw buzz baits all day Sun. and caught over 22 lbs.
City: turlockTips: When your not getting bit, slow down. If that fails try swimming auger tail, anything chartreus tail slowly.

Report: Fished out of the Break Saturday. Picked of two large stripers while fishing for Largemouths. Landed three largemouth bass for 6 lbs. All fish caught on oxblood spadetail worms pitched along steep banks with wood and current. Fish were hitting aggressively attacking the worm on the initial fall. Once the worm hit bottom, no amount of twitching, dragging or swimming would entice a strike. Fished the cut on the way toward Sherman Lake.

Kept throwin the rattle trap. My dad hooked a salmon but as he got it to the boat it broke off. The color or size of the rattle trap did not seem to matter, caught em on red, chrome/blue, chrome/black. We caught our fish crankin the traps over the weed patches in franks.

Report: Took off @ 7am from Holland, fished the trac a bit, and Rock Slough, Threw the Brushhogs like I read about on this page, yet managed one dink. Headed for Franks Tract, stop the boat because had break water, and weed-bank. Looked like something you would see on Bill Dance. Yes I was on my real first awesome bass bite on the Delta. About 15 fish for 24lbs? all on speedtrap crank. Are there really 3 plus pounders in the Delta? I'M hooked and I"ll find them.
City: concordTips: Threw blue saphire brushhog to land a 1lber, threw bluegill speedtrap to round-up the DINKS.
