Report: Fished Seven Mile Slough today from 9:00 until 3:00. Really hot out there! Only caught two smallish bass on a bluegill speedtrap. Bass seemed to be near the top of the water.....should have tried a buzzbait. I fish off a specially rigged kayak. I am trying to find "quieter" water where the fast boats won't shake me up too much. Please let me know if you know of good water for a kayak. --Good Luck!!

    Water Temp: 75

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Had a bad day at work so I split early and launched at Bethal Island. I always have a hard time getting a pattern going in the Delta. I hit the water at exactly 7:00 pm and fished until 8:30. Caught 3 fish and had two additional blow ups. Was fishing a chateus buzz bait but I don't think that is as important as where and when I fished. It was an outgoing tide and I fished a weekline facing the tide. It is also a couple days before a full moon right? That can't hurt. Biggest fish went 6 pounds, my personal biggest in the Delta. Drop me a line if you've noticed any consistant patterns around Bethal. Be Safe!

Report: Fished from 6:00 to about 1:00. Boated 6 fish total,3 were keepers. Got a keeper on a speedtrap seen a few more follow it right to the boat. Biggest fish of the day went 4.5 ate brown jig/black trailer. Three fish would have weighed 7+. Bites were subtle had to watch the line. Water Temp: 73 -?

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Flying V and I took a late morning run out of Brannan for little fishing and R n'R. The RnR was better than the fishing. Hit Tules along deep drop offs - did OK in AM, then it died. Tried some frogging with no takers, lots of blow ups. Other bassers at the ramp reported that it was a little tough as well. Folks are doing well in the tourney, so there's fish biting out there!

    Water Temp: 70's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the B.A.S.S. Fed tourny out of Ladd's Sunday. Winner weighed 16+ for 6 fish all caught cranking on the main channel outside of Ladds. I came in fourth with about 13 pounds. My fish came on plastics (flipping brush hogs and zippers) and jigs (black/blue with a grub trailer. My best fish were 4 1/2 pounds (came flipping big wood) and 3 1/3 pounds (working deep next to a weed bed. All plastics fish were smaller but lots of numbers mostly flipping tules.
    City: Fair Oaks

Tips: Like always...jigs seem to bring in the better fish but they are not producing the quantity of bites so be patient!

Report: Launched out of Hogback with Castro Valley Bass Classics (CVBC) on Saturday morning. Tough day. Fished a deep diving Rebel craw and lost a keeper smallie at the boat. Caught lots of dinks. Only quality fish was a 3# largemouth on a 6" witches tea texas rigged. My boater stuck a 4.3# largemouth on a 1/8th (no typo) jig with a 4' power craw trailer. Mayday out

    Water Temp: 68 - 69

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished CVBC tourney with about 8 boats out of Hogback - most folks fished in the area and upriver for smallies, and it was a mistake - tuff bite. Winners (boaters and nonboater) won by making the long run to Disco - brought back limits of 14 and 11, i think. The folks who stayed north caught mostly smallies - my boater had a squeaker 5.5# limit and still managed to come in 5th. Caught dinks all day. We also caught little stripers and one nice 18" striper.
    City: belmont

Tips: North Delta - chartreuse, white and silver mini cranks. Some worm fish. Topwater was dead. South - Blades, worms

Report: First of all, I want to thank the fishermen for putting your fishing report in here. It helped me out on Saturday. Launched out of Holland, caught 4 bass - 7.64 lbs, approx. 2 pounder, the last two were about a pound, and a lot of dinks. Using crawdad speedtrap on the 2 big ones on outside of the weed line. Single-spin spinnerbait bluegill color (blue and charatruse) before the high tide and black 10" powerworms during the low tide. it was fun i had a good time. Check out my site http://members.home.net/scy33613/
    City: Fremont

Tips: anywhere there was a solid weedline out of the ski boat traffic. the weedlines that where patchy didn't produce as well as the ones with a continuous line. rocks. no tulies.

    Water Temp: 67.5

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: (This is for you Tommy P ) We launched out of Hog Back early sat. morning, anticipating the Smallie bite on the Sac. Started throwing Buzzbaits in the marinas nearby, and scored on a few largemouth up to two pounds.Since I caught a few doing that I tried flipping the "Micster" worm, loaded with Smelly jelly. My first pitch into a bush produced a nice 21 1/2 inch,6lb plus largemouth.Caught a small limit after that and went to the sac.above the Isleton bridge. We ,(two boats) cranked till our arms went stiff.(four hours at least, both tides) and boated only one keeper. The bite was definately off that day, in that area. The fish were in the 12'-15' depth. I caught a few dinks split shottin. If I were to fish there again, I'd try nearer Vierra's,as Cooch and others have been getting better fish cranking those banks. See Ya!!!!
    City: San Leandro

Tips: Craw type cranks for the smallies. Don't overlook the Marinas and Oxbows like Cooch says.

    Water Temp: 68-71

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of Lundborg Landing and headed up the SJ River. Had 2 that were around 3# on a black buzz bait after the sun came out. Both came from the same large shallow flat with sparse weeds. Flipped a small island after that and picked up several that were 1-1.8#. Bite seemed slow could not get a pattern going. Headed in about 11:30 to watch the weighin at the hook.
    City: Brentwood

Tips: Bite is tough with the cold weather. Pray for some summer weather. Better fish came off the buzzbait worked as slow as possible.
