Water Temp: 75
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Weather report said 9 mph in the morning. They lied. I'm guessing 25 mph+ everywhere. Me and the other 3 basser's around N.Vic Is. fished as much out of the wind as possible. I used my anchor much of the day. Done by 11:00. Caught a limit. 3.5# largest. The rest were under 2#'s. Tried everything but they would only soft bite a green lizard. Caught all in 3' to 6' water. Big ones on Lowrance at 15', so drop shot might have worked but that's where the wind was.
Tips: If you can't laugh at fishing in this ridiculous wind then you should probably stay home.

Water Temp: mid 70's
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Didn't get on water til 8:30a at Paradise Marina. Fished around various islands on San Joaquin and ended up in Potato Slough. It was a outgoing tide so definitely a tough bite. Caught a lot of little ones with only 10 that were considered keeper size. Biggest fish that we landed only went 2+ lbs. Lost a coupl that were bigger. Off the water at 3:30p
City: DixonTips: Fished around islands and looked for open space between tules and weed beds. Flipped spinner baits, chatterbaits, and crankbaits into the open area. Used MH rods and braid so it allowed us to pull fish thru weeds.

Water Temp: 73 - 79 degrees
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Luanched the Custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1" out of Ladd's around 8:30 a.m. and was out of the water by 3:00 p.m. A tough bite catching small males in 14 Mile Sluogh. Tossing frogs, red/orange spinnerbaits, and flipped/punched Strike King tubes.

Water Temp: 71-72
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: launched 7am at new hope; fished just outside sycamore for a few 1-2lbers; wasn't quite low tide but was going out; caught fish both inside and outside weedlines on shallow diving and lipless cranks. also picked a couple up on dandy baits slk spinnerbait slow rolling through sparse tules and over weedlines. tried senkos but nothing...plastics didn't work today...buddy whacked a 3.5lber on lipless so i changed back...fast retrieve parallel on top and outside weedlines and hit a 4.5 striper. 3rd bud was throwin to tules and back and hit about 5 barely keepers and a couple 13"ers. quit at 1pm; good 1/2 day on the water.
City: folsomTips: low tide always throws us but they're not always outside deeper so we worked red eye and rattle trap lipless as well as really small 1/8 oz shallow diver bombers (spinning) at 45deg casts to the tules and just fast retrieved across the veggie tops, no pause...hits came mostly on top or just past the veggie line. most everyone we saw was flippin'. we stayed with cranks, but i'm sure everyone caught today.

Water Temp: 71
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Disappointment and Potato Sloughs. Nothing real big but caught several fish in the 1-3 lb range. Best 5 probably around 12 lbs. Everything seemed to work including shallow and deep cranks, buzz baits, and spinnerbaits. Never got around to soft plastics or jigs but guess they would have been ok since the bass didn’t seem all that fussy. Several fish chased lures and a few slapped at them without hooking up. Biggest fish were 5-8 feet deep or just outside the weed line.
City: StocktonTips: Use the wind - the breeze was welcomed.

Water Temp: 70 - 72 degrees
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Luanched the Custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1" out of Ladd's about 8:30 a.m. and was off the water by 3:00 p.m. Went out to Big Al's (light 19) area first for the first few hours. My 5 fish limit came on mojo shotting 6" zoom trick worms, all small males. last couple hours decided to run around back through 14 Mile Slough searching out some future punching spots since there is alot less cover this year. The larger bass are diffinately holding in the heavier cover now. Stuck three nice bass up to 5 pounds using Strike King flipping tubes. I'm ready to switch over back to my sweet beavers, but have so many tubes left I'd like to use up the supply first.

Water Temp: 70
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: On the water by 6:00. Fished all around Victoria Is. where I could get out of the wind. 5 fish early on frogs but none in the boat. None on spinners or cranks. Tried worms but the dinks were biting off the tails. Caught a couple on swimming white flukes. Best luck was with 6" green Lizards. Only one at 3# the rest were smaller but fought well. All the fish were caught in @ 5'-6' water and ambushed from deeper shade. Sun at my back.
Tips: find bait fish. If my boat was in 5' of water, I was over the fish. So I'd suggest to back off a bit.

Water Temp: 69 - 72 degrees
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Windy, Windy, WINDY!! Luanched the Custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1" out of Ladd's about 8:30 a.m. and was off the water by 3:00 p.m. My original plans was to fish around Big Al's (light 19) for the day, but decided to seek shelter in 14 Mile Slough. Junk fishing with reaction baits was the only way for me to be successful today. Bass and stripers on crankbaits, lip-less cranks, spinnerbiats, swimbaits, and even had a few blow-ups on the frog(no hook ups this time). All the bass were 2 pounds or less. The stripers were schooled up near the pump house and mostly under-sized, but fun to catch under current weather conditions.
City: StocktonTips: Look for the calmest water possible or try to fish aggressively in the wind. What ever your preferance is in fishing the delta.

Water Temp: 68 - 71 degrees
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Luanched the Custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1" out of Ladd's today around 8:30 a.m. and was out by 2:30 p.m. Windy conditions today so I decided to run all the way back into 14 Mile Slough and started fishing at the bridge and worked my way out. Frogs and buzzbaits during the out going tide was the ticket for me.

Water Temp: 67-71
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished from 7:00a-3:00p. Started in east Frank's Tract and worked south to Orwood. Haven’t been out for a while so I was just trying to find some kind of pattern. During slack-tide I was picking fish off of isolated, hard structure with a 5” PB&J Senko. When the water flow picked up, I got ‘em throwing a square-bill crank into current near slack pools (they showed a preference for the KVD 1.5 green gizzard shad). Keeping 8-12 feet of water under my boat gave the best results. No monsters, but I averaged 3 fish an hour so it was a good day in my book.
City: SacramentoTips: Thank you for a real report portuguee joe, secret spots and baits don’t help me much.

Report: Launched outta Windmill at 6 am. was off the water by noon because of the wind. I did manage to pull out 8 fish all on a Senko before the wind. They hit watermelon w/ red and black flake or watermelon w/ gold flake. Biggest fish went 5-6 but I lost him right at the boat, because my partner missed him with the net, but thats fishing. Biggest fish I got my hands on was 4lbs. All fish were caught out of the current on the backside of tullie islands.... on another note I took my buddy out on the 18th and we were able to break his P.B. with an 8 pound 14 ounce hog on a Weightless Senko. Good luck they're out there.

Report: took a good friend of mine out from Diamond Springs. It was one of those great days on the Delta. Several 4lb fish all day. The top water bite was on for a couple of hours throwing my favorite twitch bait a floating rapala. A long forgotten lure but still in my opinion catches Monster fish!
Afternoon time switched over to plastics. My friend caught his PB a 7lb beauty.
left him at the boat ramp around 3:30.
call the wife to come out for the evening bite. Took some time to relax at the marina until the evening. Evening bite was on my wife nailed her PB an 11lb beauty 26"long 19.5" girth quite a beauty. All fish were caught on wacky rigged senkos the fish were eating that bait up.
Packed up for the evening. Another fine day on World Class Water right here in my back yard.
City: tracyTips: Fish and have fun you will have good days and tough days that have you scratchin your head wonderin where the heck have all the fish gone.
That's the Delta. Absolutely Perfect! -

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Luanched the Custom Valco "BASSBUDSTER1" out of Ladd's today about 8:30 a.m. and was off the water by 12 noon. With the crazy wind I decided to "camp it out" in the sailboat club. Cuaght 8 bass today with best 5 going about 15 lbs and big fish was 4.5lbs. Using wacky rigged senkos and zoom tricks worms I found the bass holding tight to the shady areas of the docks (in weed pockets preferred). Pitched the senkos and trick worms into open holes of weed pockets(darker the pocket the better). Set my trolling motor as shallow as I can and speed was set to high the whole time to cut through all the weeds going from dock to dock. The 4.5 pounder came on my spinning rod with the trick worm and 8 lb test flouracarbon line, almost lost her in the thick weeds, and she hadn't spawned yet.
City: StocktonTips: Get out of the wind the best you can and fish protected areas. Wish I had the cameras today, would have been a cool video shoot.

Water Temp: 69
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Picked up one fish early in the morning on top water with a bone colored spook (couple more swirls but no hook ups). Than started pitching a senko (watermalon with black and red flake, 6in) to tule pockets - not a lot of bites but all good ones (best was a nice 5.75lbs). When the wind got to strong for the senko, I started throwing a white spinnerbait. They were eating it pretty good right before the tide bottom out. After that the bite stopped and I hadded back in.
