Water Temp: 65
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of Orwood on Saturday and got in a solid 5 hours fishing. Was cold and windy, and glad I keep a spare jacket on the boat. Picked up 6 on crank and drop shot. Crank was delta red speed trap. Worms were oxblood with red flake. Got a few hits on jib and senko but nothing substantial . Chatter bait and buzz were ignored.
City: Danville -
Water Temp: 60
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Started Late Saturday in the Wind and some Rain after most guys got off the water caught 3 nice 3-4 lb range largemouth and 2 about the size of my spinnerbait:). Also caught a 26" striper at about 7:30 along rocks near B&W Resort. I thought I'd done something on my spinnerbait when it took line and ran me around the boat a few times. Fun!!
City: SacramentoTips: They ate my orange and white double willow spinnerbait this evening. Got a few hits on a rootbeer senko but I think they were small. Also a few small ones tried to eat my frog. Hope the Frog bite is good this year it sucked last year for me.

Water Temp: 60's
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of wimpy's, headed north towards snod and meadows, water was dingy so I started huckin' a white revenge spinnerbait/gold willow in the tree's, no takers. Headed south to find clear water, ended up in beaver a ways and started huckin' two different speed traps. Proceeded to boat 6 largies to 3.5lbs and 3 linesides to 16"
City: Elk GroveTips: Largemouth were right up on the rip-rap, stripers were a little deeper on the edge of a wind-blown mud line. Keep the boat in about 12' to 14' of water.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went shore fishing for a change and hooked up with some nice fish. 6 fish total (2-3 lbs)with an 8 lb kicker. Woo! 5 caught using various plastics and one on a spinnerbait. No top water action again. Water needs to clear up a bit more.
City: StocktonTips: Leave the boat at home and save some gas money. Go shore fishing :).

Water Temp: 65+
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: In the morning, fished south end of Mildred Island. 2-5 feet deep in tule's near deep drop offs. Slight breeze, water clear. Used 7' Zoom green lizard on short Carolina rig. Boated 5 1.5# - 2.5# keepers in a couple of hours. Move out to Turner cut, got very windy, nothing. Then back to old river at Italian slough, VERY windy and water went to muddy (wind and wake boats) nothing there either. Left for home early.
City: HaywardTips: Look for clearer water later when the heavy wind and boat traffic picks up. Don't get stuck on one bait (like I am right now).
-
Water Temp: 67 - 69 degrees
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got at 23 lb 5 fish limit this evening with a 9 lb kicker just camping out behind the sail boat club today. I did not get "BASSBUSTER1" launched until about 5:45 p.m. so I decided not to make any long runs this time. I used black jigs and 7 inch berkley powers worms. I was surprised to not even get a single frog bite this time.
City: StocktonTips: Keep changing lures and techniques until Mr. Bass tells you what he/she wants for dinner. :-)

Water Temp: 65 - 70 degrees
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I decided to leave my custom Valco Bass Boat "BASSBUSTER1" in the garage today and did family stuff. I waited for the last 3 hours of day light to escape on foot to the sail boat club next to Ladd's Marina. It was bottom out low tide and lucky I know the holes that still hold fish during this tide. One favorite spot at low tide still holds 3 ft. of water. She was home and hungry. She weighed 9.1 lbs. on my Berkley digital scale. Tonight could have been a good night for night fishing as I walked the banks and noticed many spawning bass during this low tide. She nailed this black/yellow frog with anger. My gear: Quantum US Tour Edition Heavy Action 30 - 100 lb test, Quantum Energy reel, and 65 lb. test Power Pro Braid.

Water Temp: 63+
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Left outta Lazy M EARLY. Very windy. At Mildred by 7:00. Did well with keepers 1.5# - 2.5# on Zoom lizards fishing slow. All fish were at "edges". Didn't matter what edge. Shadow edges, tule edges, grass edges, or depth edges. bite was good. Culling by 9:00 am. Tried frogs, spinners, swim, etc with no success so went back to lizards. Carolina rig staked about 6" up for shallow and drop shot when going deeper. WIND got unmanageable aroung noon.
City: HaywardTips: Learn to flip and pitch. Have fun.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Spent only a couple of hours fishing after lunch. Caught 2, one was about 1lb. on a drop shot and the other was about 3lbs. on a tube near Rock Slough.
Tips: Bass Tip for Vinny: The bass in all the Asian markets across the entire U.S. are typically farm raised. You can tell because they are usually harvested after they reach the most profitable market size. This means that all the fish in the market's fish tanks will always be about the same size, color and weight. So unless you or your "friend" saw a 1 lb. bass together with a 4 pounder, with different colorations and various fishing injuries, don't assume they're illegally caught by a fishermen with a bobber.
-
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: if you guys dont pay attention black bass will be the next thing with no size limit or limit at all we are all in store for a big battle that we will lose if we dont watch out the bobber fishermen are the least of are worries it the politicians we have to fight with

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out to Franks early and No top water bite in the morning, can't believe it! Caught a 3 lber on a spinner next to tules and a 4 lber flipping plastics. Lost a nice 5 lber came unbuttoned. Then headed out to Whiskey flipped a couple of 2 lbers and missed a monster 7+ lber. That's the second big fish I lost of the day. Really really disappointing. Missed a few other bites. Would have been a nice day if I didn't miss so many bites.
City: StocktonTips: Flip tules. For Vinny: Don't assume all fishermen with a bobber have over limits unless you have seen it. And don't assume the fish from the SF markets in China town or any other place are Delta bass..How can you tell a delta bass from a clear lake bass? Or a Berryessa bass or a Comanche bass or Amador, etc. It could have been farm raised. And Whiskey Slough has DFG there almost daily. I've seen them many times checking licenses and fish. I'm totally against poaching and all for preserving our fishery. The poachers will be caught if not today, another. But don't label certain fishermen if you are just assuming. I didn't want to comment here but I don't agree with labeling certain fishermen or any group publicly.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: I agree about reporting folks abusing our fishery. I regularly see guys bait fishing with bobbers on Whiskey Slough who seem to be taking far more than a limit of bass. I called Fish & Game and they don't see to care. I spend a good part of my life on whiskey and have never seen any patrol there checking for license, limits, etc. It sucks seeing people pucking from the Delta what appears to be more than a limit of bass to eat or even worse to sell. I friend recently showed me pictures he took in a market in SF Chinatown of coolers of what appeared to be live Delta bass. It has never been my style before now, but we need to report abuses. If enough of us do, maybe F&G will take action.

Water Temp: 64
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Had a decent day on the local waters. Landed about 15 fish to 4lbs. Deadsticking worms and Spinners in murkier water was the ticket today. Left after seeing houseboaters clearin out the slough with chains in their pontoons :( isnt that illegal??? Left dissapointed, cause its been good for me the past couple outings. Bass are still bedding and some females are still fat.
City: Walnut GroveTips: Lets try to protect our fisheries, say something and pass it on, even if they pretend not to hear. Speak out loud!!

Water Temp: 59-64
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: just a little windy! caught a few on riprap banks on the turn of high tide with a chatterbait then switched to a dropshot on moss bed edges the rest of the day ,could not buy a topwater strike.. all in all I'd say it's showing signs of life out there.
City: woodpileTips: I would agree with everyone else about dead sticking your baits.Doesn't appear the want much action in your baits right now.
-
Water Temp: 62ish
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Hit some 2-3 foot waves as I crossed the main channel with nothing but whitecaps in view. I put my 80#'s of thrust to good use only catching 4 fish up to 3.5#'s. Flipped deep into tule's sweet beavers and tubes. Caught my biggest on a lipless crank craw pattern. I fished anywhere I could get out of the wind and waves 18-20mph winds made for an interesting day.
City: StocktonTips: Don't pee into the wind.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Went East on wednesday.Mildred Area. Weather was windy/rain. found some quiet pockets around Tules. Lots of Big blowups on Topwater. Only stuck two in the 4 lb range. With this warming weather the topwater bite will go crazy. look forward to getting back out next week.
City: BrentwoodTips: Work your Topwater slow. After letting it sitfor a quick second. give the bait a twitch.this was producing big blow ups.
