Report: U go tell them Deltaking. Can't believe vinny(ignorance fool) label every fisherman with bobber are proacher or every bank fisherman in this case. They have the right to fish how ever they like, as long as it's in the legal guidelines. Does vinny actually sit there n watch them catch over limits? Just because he can't catch fish, now he gotta blame it on the bank fisherman. Get a life man or go frog hunting..there's plenty of those around, maybe that hobby u can alwyz catch something. I wish this vinny guy stunk every time he goes out fishing

    Tips: vinny <<---prejudice

    Water Temp: 60-61.5

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: After being at work all night a buddy and I hit the East Delta for a pretty productive day for around 19-20#'s for best 5. I caught my biggest on a chatterbait and the rest were flipped on doublewide sweet beavers brown craw color on the backside's of wind blown points. A productive day catching a total of 15 fish.
    City: Stockton

Tips: Buy the biggest trolling motor you could fit on your boat. I have a 80# on my 18ft tracker and it works wonders for heavy wind and current.

Report: Ran my custom Valco Bass Boat "BASSBUSTER 1" back behind Garlic Bothers this afternoon (2 - 6 p.m.) for the first time this season. Focusing on the new docks along the Brookside Homes. Tried cranks, spinnerbaits, and jigs with no bites. Switched to 7" Berkley Power Worms and finally got bit. Only 2 bass in about 4 hours of fishing. I was really surprised to see how poor the fishing was when I noticed the full moon.
    City: Stockton

Tips: Keep trying different lures and techniques until Mr. Bass tells you what he/she wants. :-)

Report: Fished the high tide/outgoing tide this afernoon in east delta. Managed a pattern quickly. The low pressure system and wind must have turned them on. Had a really hard bite from one that pulled like a hog and then just sat down into the weeds. I was thinking to myself, this must be another 10 lber. Turns out it was about 4 lbs but went into the weeds and made it felt like a 10 lber.
    City: stockton

Tips: Cloudy + winds = blades. They just wanted the blades today!

    Water Temp: 60

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Out of Ladds about 8:00am worked first two hours toward downtown hitting points off main channel; not a bite. Decided to work our way toward Mildred by hitting the cuts off main channel. My brother flips a 6" Green Pmkn/Blk Flake senko on the outer weed line and sets the hook; good fish! almost 12#; always great to start the day with a toad. So we continue to flip the weed lines with senkos and do OK. Caught about fifteen total with the best five going about 26 lbs.
    City: Hilmar

Tips: Weed lines, slow presentation, dark browns greens.

    Water Temp: 59

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished five days, 20th to 24th. Franks did OK most of the time, with a limit to 15 lbs. Disapointment was slow, 2 to 3 fish a day, up to 3 lbs. Potato only produced one fish. The best fish came from the main channel, cranks and senkos, w/ a few fish on 7" worms. Generally the fishing is slow, w/ no large fish up yet. The seals look like they are eating well this trip!
    City: Valencia

Tips: Wait for two weeks and the larger fish should be up by then.

    Water Temp: 59-63

Report: Fished in the middle of the day so I could fish high tide. Had to work for my fish. Only able to scratch up a limit. 2 caught on spinnerbait, two caught on crank, 1 caught on senko.
    City: Elk Grove

Tips: As the sun was up high and not much wind, I probably should have focused more on plastics.

    Water Temp: cold

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Just wanted to start off by saying that this report page is turing into MYSPACE with all the trash talkin' COME ON GUYS!!! Anyways, fished the north delta where the water was clearer, threw white blades up into the tree's for largies, caught a few small fish up to three pounds. Switched to fishing for linesides when the tide was pushin' caught two fish around 6lbs. on swimbaits around rip-rap.
    City: Elk Grove

Tips: Try your old faithful delta lures, white blades/w gold colorado, speed traps on rip-rap and flip some beavers if your feelin' frisky!!! Just look at what the elite series was catchin' fish on!!! Fishin' is tough but if your persistent with those baits, you'll boat a few!!!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished hard all day in Dissapointment. Had few bites ended up with only two a 3 and a 4 pounder on a brown chatterbait. Got them on the back of wind blown points off the edge of tule's. I flipped most of the day tubes and sweet beavers but not a single bite. I tried black and blue brn/blk..NOTHING. I did see a couple males setting up on beds.

    City: Stockton

Tips: I would like to think my best tip was to use the heavy wind to your advantage and fish wind blown points but, this did not seem to work yesterday.

    Water Temp: 57 deg

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Well had a good day today haven't been out in a while waiting for weather to warm.Fishing was tough, but was still able to pull out some nice fish 6.3 lber , 5.8 lber , 4.3 lber and a couple 2 plus lbers. Went out of B&W resort did not have to go farto pick these fish up the bigger of the fish were full of eggs they had some fat bellys getting ready to spawn they are staging right now and are moving up found most of these fish close to the bank around 9 ft of water was fishing around broken pile making really long cast try not to spook them. tried punching mats , no luck threw cranks no luck , finally got on a pattern with blades chartreuse with bleeding red terminator with willow blades gold .they were smashing it.I covered alot of water throwing non stop till I got off the water. I had to work for theses fish, so they just didn't jump in my boat. Saw the bass tourney going on at B&W did not see very many limits so fishing is tough need to wait for warmer water.Went down to herman and helens marina and water was really dark brown, where mokolume river was alot more clearer. not much difference in water temp. went and did lunch at TOWER PARK marina. Rosas restaurant had a mini pizza wife had the burger kid had the fish and chips. was really good and prices were cheap.took off and fished the bridge with no takers lots of boats fishing. going to try to post up some pics.Remember catch and release, let them mamas do their thing, so our future fisherman and their children can catch fish on one the this countries best fisherie the Delta . I did throw some large swim baits today with no takers.
    City: Elmira

Tips: Get out and keep fishing it is going to bust loose soon ,after the spawn they are going to be hungry and gorge themselfs .try differant patterns till you hook up don't get stuck on something your used to using, today for me it was blades next weekend it might change or maybe it wont so dont be afraid to mix it up
