Water Temp: unknown
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of Russo's with Eric Thoss for an afternoon of fun and fishing..We stayed pretty much in Frank's looking for clear areas among all of the weeds..Spotted a lot of bass, mostly small ones, but a few good quality tournament fish..Frank's was just about as smmoth as glass, and the tide was outbound for most of the time we were there..Tossed Sweet Beavers, Senkos, Rattle Traps, Speed Traps, Chatter Baits and Jigs..Caught fish on everything except the jigs..I still need to learn more about jig presentation and fishing..I am sure if I had been doing it right and in the right place they would have caught fish also..Caught a ton of dinks, some not much larger than the baits they were gaught on..Cplors of the baits didn't seem to make much difference on their effectiveness..I used 6 different colors of Senkos and caught fish on all of them..Not sure what color the Sweet Beavers were that Eric was tossing, but they sure drew the attention of nearby bass..The crankbaits were all red/orange colored and the bass lined up to chasse them..I was a great afternoon to be on the water..
City: San JoseTips: Look for clear water with deeper water in the same area..If all the young bass we saw survive the coming winter, the bass population of the Delta will be unbelievable..Good luck all..

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Took wife with me. Fished for 4 hours in the afternoon. Wife caught the big fish of the day 3.0 LB on a wacky rigged Senko. I caught a lot of small fish on spinner bait and Jigs. Concentrated in the Mokelumne Fiver area.
City: W.SacTips: Take your wife fishing. A couple that fishes together stays together.

Water Temp: 77
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: If you want to catch small fish like me throw plastics on the main river. Better fish were caught in the sloughs off the main river. Seinkos were the ticket for one fisherman who nailed an 11 1/2 pounder on a wacky rigged seinko. Winning weight for folsom bass team was 15lbs I think. Lots of limits for 15 teams. I caught fish all day and all small. 2 keepers?
City: orangevaleTips: Wish I could help. I need tips to find the bigger quality fish. HELP

Report: wow talk about bait fish everywhere! difficult to find a solid pattern, after a couple hours found some promissing water and it did not dissapoint. Caught fish on mainly t-rigged plastics, pitching to shaded docks and gangplanks, fish were sitting in the shade, best fish came from 5-8 feet of water, 17lbs for the best 5. Topwater has been dead for me.
City: OakleyTips: watermelon baby brush hogs and screwed up jig with a single tail yammi grub #208 color worked best for me. However it has been something different on every trip, so gotta to adjust.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished outgiong tide started at Decker Island, caught 2, 2lbers on white speed traps on the inside weed line. Moved to Franks area and got 1 4.1 on a watermelon senko 6". Broke off a very large bass who jumped afterwards and shook so hard we could hear the rattles from the rattle trap still stuck in his mouth. At the bottom of the tide we went to white blades and quickly caught 4 fish near a cut in the bank. Two 2's a 3 and one 8+ who I tried to lip cuz I forgot the net and managed to unhook blade instead of grabbing the lip. But we did get to see him...
City: loomisTips: Threw reaction baits most of the day except for 1 senko fish.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Weather had been scorchin hot, so I had to go. One thing about the delta, is that it's current driven and when the lakes get tough, the delta only gets better with the stable, hot weather. Was a good day. Frog, wake bait, swim bait and shakey head all worked. No monsters, but best 5 went 19'10 and I didn't have a fish over 4 1/2. That's some good quality. Chasing shade was key, as was finding deeper pockets just outside of the current. My best bites came on the shakey Aarons Majic. Fished all middle delta, right off the main channels.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fish Franks and Fisherman's cut yesterday in a turkey shoot. Hardley any boats out and calm wind. Striper activity everywhere and a couple of sea lions out full force. We fish the out going tide around 5:00 and caught tweety bird frog fish around 3-5 foot of open water near tullies and flip fish (301 senkos and watermelon/green pumpkin beavers) in the same areas. Over all it was a tough bite, with only half of dozen fish caught, biggest 3.5lbs...good luck
City: FremontTips: fish slow and dead stick!!!

Water Temp: 77-78
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: It was hot out there today. Very little wind. Fished Hog, Sycamore, Potato, and Frank's Tract. For the day, we caught about 25 black bass (4 keeper size - largest 2+ lbs) and 10 stripers (3 keeper size - largest 4+ lbs). Most caught on crank baits with a few on senkos.
City: DixonTips: We caught most of the stripers in a 30 minute span in Frank's Tract cranking 3/4 oz Rat L Traps.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: This is a 2part report. First, I want thank all of those who write reports. For those who don't have much luck, it makes me feel like I'm not the "lone ranger." For those who have good days, it gives me hope.
Part 2 is Grouchy and I went out of Big Break on Wednesday and started in Sherman Island. The first spot was great. Numerous frog boils and we boated about 5 fish, all clones. 2.5lbers. We fished a little more in the area and then went to the Break area, both with poor results. Big Break waters were clear and the weather was great all day. Very warm but a nice breeze. Conditions seemed great and it was hard to believe we went 3 hours with only a couple of rats. Around 2:30 we got into some action again and finished the day with a few keeper size bass and a couple of small stripers. All the fish(not that many) came on frogs, rattletraps or small swim baits.
City: orindaTips: I'm still a delta dummy. All I know is that when your'e in the right place at the right time it can be real good. If someone could just tell me where the right place is and when's the right time...oh forgot to mention that my bud, grouchy caught most of the fish.

Water Temp: 75
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of H&H today. Had one early on a buzbait right next to the ramp. When it was light enough we moved down to Threeriver Ranch. Caucht a 5 pound striper on a poper. Thought it was a giant and then I noticed he was wearing a tuxedo. Threw a frog all morning with no takers and one strike. Finally I gave in and went to my strength and started crankin. Picked up dozen or so between 10 and 11:30am on rip-rap. The Biggest went 5 or so with a few real dinks. Off the water by noon. I guess any day is a good day when you out-fish dear old dad!
City: SacramentoTips: I should have given up on Kermit earlier and thrown the buzz. Threw a poper, Frog, Fluke, and flipped a Bluegill colored tube with no takers. Cranked in Crawdad and Parrott colors to 6 feet with the bigger fish coming next to the bank. Good luck.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Haven't been out in months for one reason or another. With the wind blowing yesterday, decided to fish Sycamore slough to get some protection from the wind. Didn't want to deal with the algae or mats so only fished areas that had little or no algae. Fished 3 hours and, between my partner and myself, caught over 50 bass but nothing of size. Biggest one was around 2.5 lbs.
City: DixonTips: I mainly used a 1/2 oz shad colored Rat L Trap while partner used a 3/4 oz chrome w/orange & blue trap.

Water Temp: 79-81
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Started with the intention of flipping wacky in discovery bay, but then something amazing happenned! We started to see swarms of striped bass busting on shad everywhere. They were litterally throwing themselves up against docked boats! Gulls were getting in on the action as well, divebombing the shad and getting a bite every dive! You would see the minnows jump then you'd see the bass right afterwards! So we picked up our shallow divers and cast into the swarms with nearly each cast catching a fish. None were keeper size, but it was alot of fun for about 3 hours. Fish after fish, the largest went for 15 inches. Saw larger fish jumping but didn't catch those ones, maybe the small ones took it before the big ones could get ahold of it? Anyhow it was alot of fun. After the bite turned off we went for the tules past discovery bay pulling texas brush-hawgs and flipping wacky both in just one color...watermelon seed. Works every time. All three of us caught limits of largemouth with the largest going for 2.5 lbs. Finally got to that island past the bridge (Golden Gate Ski Club?) late and hammered a few in the shade.
City: HaywardTips: The only bad thing about launching at Disco Bay is the hours. Would have liked to get a little full moon bite, but hours there are from 8am-9pm.
Does anybody out there know where another ramp is that would be fairly close to the Disco Bay marina???
