    Water Temp: 75

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of H&H today. Had one early on a buzbait right next to the ramp. When it was light enough we moved down to Threeriver Ranch. Caucht a 5 pound striper on a poper. Thought it was a giant and then I noticed he was wearing a tuxedo. Threw a frog all morning with no takers and one strike. Finally I gave in and went to my strength and started crankin. Picked up dozen or so between 10 and 11:30am on rip-rap. The Biggest went 5 or so with a few real dinks. Off the water by noon. I guess any day is a good day when you out-fish dear old dad!
    City: Sacramento

Tips: I should have given up on Kermit earlier and thrown the buzz. Threw a poper, Frog, Fluke, and flipped a Bluegill colored tube with no takers. Cranked in Crawdad and Parrott colors to 6 feet with the bigger fish coming next to the bank. Good luck.

    Water Temp: 73-74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Haven't been out in months for one reason or another. With the wind blowing yesterday, decided to fish Sycamore slough to get some protection from the wind. Didn't want to deal with the algae or mats so only fished areas that had little or no algae. Fished 3 hours and, between my partner and myself, caught over 50 bass but nothing of size. Biggest one was around 2.5 lbs.
    City: Dixon

Tips: I mainly used a 1/2 oz shad colored Rat L Trap while partner used a 3/4 oz chrome w/orange & blue trap.

    Water Temp: 79-81

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Started with the intention of flipping wacky in discovery bay, but then something amazing happenned! We started to see swarms of striped bass busting on shad everywhere. They were litterally throwing themselves up against docked boats! Gulls were getting in on the action as well, divebombing the shad and getting a bite every dive! You would see the minnows jump then you'd see the bass right afterwards! So we picked up our shallow divers and cast into the swarms with nearly each cast catching a fish. None were keeper size, but it was alot of fun for about 3 hours. Fish after fish, the largest went for 15 inches. Saw larger fish jumping but didn't catch those ones, maybe the small ones took it before the big ones could get ahold of it? Anyhow it was alot of fun. After the bite turned off we went for the tules past discovery bay pulling texas brush-hawgs and flipping wacky both in just one color...watermelon seed. Works every time. All three of us caught limits of largemouth with the largest going for 2.5 lbs. Finally got to that island past the bridge (Golden Gate Ski Club?) late and hammered a few in the shade.
    City: Hayward

Tips: The only bad thing about launching at Disco Bay is the hours. Would have liked to get a little full moon bite, but hours there are from 8am-9pm.
Does anybody out there know where another ramp is that would be fairly close to the Disco Bay marina???

Report: took pops out for some father/son time competition. Things started out well for me with some nice 2's and 3's. My dad caught on with what I was doing to catch them, and thats when fun time turned into trash talking time. He was on the back seat wacky wormin 6" worms and he was killin me. There was one stretch where he caught 3 in a row...all solid sized fish. he started to get into my head with each little jab he threw at me with each fish he caught. He was awfully quiet in the morning...but he was all laughs and smiles with all the fish we boated. Biggest only at 5lbs...but we caught tons of chunks near holland tract. The biggest ticket for us was the low tide and right at the start of the transition from low to hi tide. Worms were the ticket here, withces T, delta special, arons magic. Pretty much any bluegill related color got them to bite. Drop shots and wack rigs were the meal ticket.

Even though i got whacked by my dad, the trip was fun and all the sweeter to hang out with pops.
    City: ec

Tips: Tule Berms with a big deep drop. All banks on the east side were working for us...shaded pockets, and shaded areas next to isolated tule clumps...had all the fish positioned for us to key in on. if you havent caught on with wacky worming...youre missing out!!!

Report: Got a late start, fished 1030-1440. Spent bulk of time fishing senkos and drop shotting around Frank's on the receeding high tide...caught nothing but alot of wind which made fishing difficult. Switched to weighted brush hog in/on weedline for last hour, before being blowed off the water, finally landing some nice ones-- largest fish 6#.
    City: Frank's Tract

Tips: Watch what all the more experienced guys are doing around you.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Terrorizing the black bass on cheap skirted 1/2 0z jigs(blu/blk red/blk) with brush hog trailers around the docks and rocks at disco....Then a POP-R or Spook for at least an hour. At night, the waters boiling. Banks are producing 2, 3 lbs mostly on top.
Jigs are producing hawgs as usual in between the banks and the weed line. Biggest was 6 lbs on the drop. Slammed it. Same results on the hidden ponds in my backyard.....but better fish.....Is this heaven?
    City: Discovery Bay

Tips: I fish JIGS all year round.....They produce big fish and thats that. Flip em, let it sit, tension, count to ten at least if you can and SLAM, if not jig it soft, or not, then let it sit keep your tension count to 5 then again......Start over. Catch most on the cast, so if no hits on my second third jig, flippin 4 feet to the right or the left...so bam....Senkos can be so boring.....But produce. And crank baits too.

Report: Launched out of Sugar Barge Thursday around 5pm after work. Threw Senkos and Crankbaits, Caught 6, biggest was on my new combo i bought at Bass Pro Shops, a 5.11 pounder, first fish on that reel and rod! Then launched again Friday morning at 7:00am, Fished the tules, docks, and rock walls, and picked up to more hawgs on the new reel and rod! A 4.7 and a 7.2 pounder, (My personal best!) within ten minutes of each other. This pole is on fire! We caught 10 fish total for the day.
    City: Pleasant Hill

Tips: Buy a new combo from Bass Pro Shops, specifically the new Abu Garcia Reel. Make good casts, and make sure to understand the tide and where to fish at what times. Best fishing was when tide was going out.

    Water Temp: 76-81

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Launched from Orwood and fished Indian Slough to Discovery Bay. Had numerous fish to 2 pounds cranking the weedlines with a bomber 6a - chart&blue. Fished Lido bay with wacky rigged purple sencos and caught quite a few small fish. Headed to Woodward but the ski boats put a damper on that but we did see two topless blondes which made up for not being able to fish. Had a hard time convincing my clients we needed to leave Woodward to search for clamer waters.LOL. Finished the day out around widow isalnd with sencos and crankbaits. Big fish of the day was 5lbs-2ozs on a senco.
    City: Livermore

Tips: Change colors and run the tides as the better fish for me are coming around low tide on the outside weed edges. Good luck and happy hooking...

Finished with about 14 fish in the 6 hrs up to 4/4.5 range. A few dinks in there as well. The hot bait was a red sinko with flakes. We pulled about 15 pounds worth of bass in before we ran out of that color. They also liked the green with blue flakes. All wacky rigged and weightless.
    City: Rocklin
