Report: Hats off to Dee Thomas for his 6th place finish at the FLW National Gauard Delta Open. When I first started fishing organized tournaments(35 yrs. ago)Dee was an immediate multiple tourney winner. It was'nt very long before a few of us started calling him "King of the Delta". Soon everyone was makeing the same referance. At Dee's final day interview he said "At this point in my career I was interested in makeing the top ten and not necessarily winning. I wanted to show everyone that old guys could still play the game"(71 yrs. young) I'm 65 years old and pretty much just a tournament "journeyman" but you sure as hell motivated me and even though I got my butt kicked this time I will be at the next one takeing another swing at the " Brass Ring".Some time far, far, far, away when there sprinkleing Dee's ashes over that vast expanse of water,no matter who is the hot stick at the time, Dee Thomas will still and always be "The King of the Delta".
City: lockfordTips: Always take that swing at the Brss Ring no matter who or how old you are

Report: Five strikes on white spinnerbait with Colorado blades, Stanley Pro Jigs trailer. Boated a dink and one 2lbs 9 oz lost two others at the boat 2-3 lbs each, plus a lost dink. My first time to fish a spinner for bass in years, was pleased to get bit. Got a late start, should have been out earlier. They were all pretty shallow, got no takers for anything fished off dropoffs. Tried Chatterbaits and Rat-L-Traps as well with no hits. Tried the same thing again today on 3/16, only one hit but it was 2lbs 12oz. Wind was tough.
City: East BayTips: They seem to be moving shallow, and hitting on the sunny side of the tules.

Report: That was nice of Rick to give us lesson on H.I.C technology. The bassin community well play a major role over the next few years as far as remediation on waterways and environment thanks to new technology involving lateral line stimuli and magnetic reception that will revolutionize lure development. Fisherman will come together like we did on Prospect Island. Healing the Delta first and the world second. Stand By to inlist in this Infantry.

Report: Thank you, I want to touch on H.I.C Technology(hydrodynamic Imaging capability) My theory of Quantum Physics primary goal is to teach angling as an art. My desire is to address the complete angler and all his/her potential. My teaching will expand your awareness of ordinary and extraordinary senses, intellect vs intuition, positive vs negative thought patterns, creative visualization, the known vs the unknown, and the connection between intuition, purpose, spirit, and beyond. There is no final destination. It is more accurately a continuous journey where you experience your higher self in the most intimate way imaginable. You need to realize your dream is your vehicle to search for perfection. It is your art form, which gives you the creative ability to give back to creation.
My angling journey has been my greatest teacher. It has become my infinite quest to reconnect with the wonders of creation. Creations greatest gift was our creation. Our greatest gift in return is to fulfill our creative potential. The ZENMASTER SPEAKS

Water Temp: high 50's
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Great day on the water. Not a whole lot of bites, but they were quality fish. My fishing buddy and I had a total of 8 bites for the day, but they produced 4 bass (2, 2.5, 3.5, and 5.5 lbs) and 3 stripers (6, 9, and 15 lbs). A 1/2 oz white chatterbait with a 4" yamamoto Kut Tail (color 922) accounted for the largest 3 bass and the smallest striper in a 100 yard stretch of Potato Slough. The remaining fish were caught on a 1/2 oz shad color Rat L Trap.
City: DixonTips: We fished the chatterbait inside the weedline and were able to pull the fish out. The one bite that I didn't land appeared to be a decent fish too since it swam into the thickest part of the weeds and came unbuttoned. Stripers are hitting Rat L Traps so be prepared. Our last 3 trips have resulted in 9 keeper size stripers being caught.

Report: Beautiful weather, great time to be on the water. I fished from 2 pm to Sunset on the east delta the last two days. Fished islands and steeper banks with rock/tulles. Quickly learned the islands were the place to be. Had best luck with spinner baits for numbers of fish up to 5#. A few fish caught on Delta Craw speed trap. Probably would have been able to catch more, but I prefer spinner baits when they are working. A few fish on swim bait to 6.5#. Overall had fun as the bite is turning on.
City: Elk GroveTips: Where I found the warmer water, the fish were shallow.
