    Water Temp: 52

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished out of Paradise today and not one nibble. Talked to 3 different guys as they came in and only one caught fish. After watching this damn Seal eat this 8lber and then finish off his day with what looked like a 5lber I kind of know where the fish went. This Seal must have staked out his territory from Paradise all the way down to White Slough. Is there anyway to get rid of a pest like that? Attention Fish and Game if you are reading this, that thing is ruining the Fishing for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We threw everything you can possibly offer and then some and not one nibble. Went down Disappointment, White and beyond and saw nothing but Muddy water. The water was High too.

    Water Temp: 53.5

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Checked out Disappointment Slough and White Slough yesterday but the water is just too dirty to catch anything without hitting it on the head... I caught only one bass and it was small (probably under 1 pound). Today I visited Sycamore Slough and the water was much clearer and warmer. No luck though but it won't be long now... March is right around the corner and the weather has been consistantly fantastic.

Caught it on a 1/2oz green pumkin jig in 4 ft of water on a tule point leading into Frank's Tract. It was very hard to find a spot to fish there were boats on every spot. Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: It's been tough for everyone, including some of the veterans I hear, but Cooch and Blue Daddy Ranger seem to know something we don't. Congrats guys, my hats off to you! I did manage one bite for 3 afternoon hrs of fishing. Water temp was around 52 degrees. I found the clearest water around from what people keep reporting and I think it made all the difference. It was a reaction bite in 3ft of water. Very subtle bite but it pulled like it was a donkey. She got me hooked up in a submerged tree and broke me off but not before my partner got a quick peek at her. He's convinced it was a giant! Hopefully that means more females are soon behind looking to feed. Can't wait to get out there again. Good luck!
    City: manteca

Tips: Just as everyone else is saying, follow blue daddy ranger or look for the clearest water with some warmer temps. The big girls are coming out finally with this warming trend we're having. Watch out for wake boarders, I've seen them out already this year!

Report: Fished with my dad in Holland's Cut on Saturday. Saw a lot of bass boats zooming back and forth. We were using senkos and jigs mostly, near structure along the rock wall. My dad caught 2.5 and a 4 on brown/purple jig with a cinnamon w/black and purple trailer. I missed one setting the hook. It was my first jig fish.

Tips: With the water so muddy, cast so much you hit them on the head!

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Called some people to get some advice on where the water is cleaner. Gave it a shot today but still finding very stained water with only one fish caught. It is still very tough out there and I know that White's and Mildren is cleaner but so does everyone else. Lots of boats out today with a couple of Tourney's not many fish were caught today at least that's the word that I'm hearing. Hopefully the water will warm and clear up by Saturday's tourney.
    City: EDH

Tips: Search for cleaner water and you must fish real sloooooow....

Report: Grant was right! Delta is Chocolate Ice and the clearest water that I could find was Ice Coffee. No kidding, water temp way down for this time of year and all the run off has caused non fishable water everywhere. I was told that there are some areas where the water is fishable but I wasn't able to find it today, the entire river water is very dark. Air temp at luanch was 39deg and it warmed to 60 when I got off the water. Fog hung around until 8-8:30am or so.
    City: EDH

Tips: Stay home until the water warms and becomes clear.

    City: San Leandro

Tips: Follow the blue boat because my boat got 0 fish.

    Water Temp: 49

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Started in disappointment at about 7:30, freazing with no action, tried jigs, plastics and even deep cranks. Made our way to mildred by noon, it was slow at first till we started locating fish off of some tule points on the outside edges with our graph. Picked up one right away with an LV 500 in mad craw pattern, three more on a drop shot rig using four inch robo. Stayed with that pattern til the bites ran out. Heading back to the ramp in the after noon was a different story, we located fish on simalar water using LV 500 and one ounce Voo-Doo baits. Unfortunately my buddy only had one voo-doo in 1 once and he proceeded to wear me out, catching seven all together to 4.5#. The better areas were wind hit points, we backed off and fished 5 to 10 feet. We hit one fish near 6# in whites on a six inch yamamoto sinko in grn pmp. Surprisingly a good day, alot better than previous trips, all in all we finished with our best five going 18 to 19 pounds. We'll try to duplicate that next week hopefully!
    City: modesto

Tips: Find points facing the wind, look for cleaner water with atleast ten foot ledges, work your baits diagonally targetting ambush feeders. We had some active fish and we had some lazy ones too. Work a one ounce chatter bait/ voo-doo bait off the bottom
