Water Temp: 51-54
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Been a while since I reported. Took a break due to all the non-fishing stuff that was going on on this site. Good to see it looks like it's been cleaned up some. Anyway, had been chompin at the bit to get on the delta all week and wouldn't you know, Sat the north wind was howling. Still, caught around 15 fish to just under 6 pounds. Good early and late bite. Custom AC plug produced my two biggest fish. Caught a good number of jig fish as well. My buddy and I also dumped to fish over five. Much of the delta was still really dirty. However, I did find an area where it was calm and had two ft vis. That is where I got the fish on the wake bait. They demolished it on the hit. Flats with deep water nearby were best. The Voodoo bite should be turning on real soon as well. Love that bait on the flats first thing in the morning. Jig fish in the tules wanted it swam when the wind was blowing on them and shook where it was come. I was fishing a prototype jig in black/blue. Awesome jig!
Tips: Feeding flats at high tide with deep water nearby. Sparse tules were good as well. The calm water produced the same amount of fish as the wind blown water. All fish in 1 to 4 ft.

Water Temp: 57

Still working on learning new Tacker boat, off water after 4hrs. tmep. in ladds marina 60 deg.
City: LindenTips: just keep going out.

Water Temp: ?? It's warmin
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: It was nice to run the Custom Valco Bass Boat "BASSBUSTER1" today. The weather was really nice too. Strated cranking the north wall about 500 yrds form the mouth of the 14 Mile slough. Deep cranking was the ticket here. Then moved into 14 mile and checked out some spots along the shallows. Spinnerbait bites were aggressive. My goal was to work the water all the way to LVW Marina, but ran out of time. I pretty much had the water to my self. I was surprised note bites on jigs or plastics for me. It was a reaction bite today. 3.5,2.9,2.8,1.7, and 1.5 Rats no Kicker today :-(
City: StocktonTips: High blues skies today all fish related to shady side of cover or work deep.

Water Temp: 49+
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished rocks and tules with swimbaits, jigs, plastic and blades. No bites. Wind was so bad, I headed back to launch at 10:45AM but at last moment turned back and caught 12" and 14" from 11:10AM-11:30AM. Fished till 1:30PM and couldn't handle my boat being blown all around by all of the tornadoes.
City: Cameron ParkTips: Wind was 20+ mph at 6:30AM and was as high as 35+ mph in the afternoon. Anchor didn't work and just pulled up 20 lbs of hydrilla and drifted where ever the wind wanted take me.

Water Temp: 54
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Water Temp: 54
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Come on guys if your not bringing 20+ pounds right now your fired.
Tips: Get in there and beat em up now before the pros tear into them next week.
4-5 foot deep tules, black and blue jigs. -
Water Temp: 54
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: First fish of the year came on a black/blue jig up tight to the rock bank.It was a keeper. The 2nd fish came hours later on the plastic. It was a 3.8 pound fish. A very fine fish indeed. I also talked to a couple guys. They also caught a couple to 3 pounds and I saw a guys get a 1 pounder on a crankbait. FINALLY! After 4 trips last month getting skunked,I got 2 and that is great!
Tips: The fish are bitting so I advise going often now.

Water Temp: 56.2
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Wow! Water and visibility are significantly better than last weekend! Unfortuntately, at least for me the bite wasn't :(. Fished White Slough for about 4 hours and only caught one small (12 inches) striper. Moved over to Disappointment slough and had some good strikes but failed to set the hook. Had to leave at 1pm right when things are picking up.

Water Temp: 55-59
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished tules with rock with jig one fish 9.2 stuck with it for an hour with no more takers switched up to a swim bait in first 20' of a few good flats and had several short strikes. gave them a white chatter bait and they ate it.Fish on chatter were from 2# to 4# 5 total.Had a decent bag but not like the ones Cooch has been gettin! One more week of this weather and it will be wide open.
City: StocktonTips: Fish in 8-12 ft. until it warms up a little then move shallow and cross your fingers.I think the ones I got shallow were because of cloud cover.

Water Temp: 52-55
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished around Franks for a few hours today. Third cast I had a 4 lb Bass nail my red/black jig with a Sweet Beaver trailer. Tried cranking with Crawdad lipless bait and picked up a smaller Bass and missed another. Picked up a 3 1/2 lb fish later in the morning fishing a Mission Fish Minnow. Also had a nice Swirl on a Pearl Fluke fishing the tulle's. All fish were in fairly shallow water.
City: LockefordTips: Sounds like a broken record, find the clearer water. If your not getting bit, keep changing it up.

Water Temp: 53-55
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Great day with little wind. Fished Hog/Sycamore Sloughs and Potato Slough/Frank's Tract. Action still a little slow. We were fishing Sycamore and my fishing buddy was cranking a 1/2 oz Rat L Trap and caught a steelhead about 18 inches. First time that any of my fishing buddies caught a steelhead. Caught a few small bass. Fished Potato Slough/Frank's Tract and we caught 3 stripers around 19 inches (good eating size) and a couple of keeper size bass.
City: DixonTips: Look for the clearer water. Had several fish follow my lure back to the boat but no bite. We were cranking all day since my buddy had great success with cranks in his last 2 trips (black bass limits with a striper or two)

Water Temp: 50's
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: launched lazy m in Byron.
Found some water plants in stained water, not muddy. After checking my usual spots, with no results.
managed 2 fish, 3.5 and 2 lber.
caught on a jig wth a yum trailer and a yum dark worm with a silver tip.
City: Union cityTips: Rains will muddy the water up again, so I guess I'll hold up until end March.
Trying to stay with the dark stuff w/ big profile. That what the pros say. -
Water Temp: 49-52
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Started the day off great, stuck a 6 ponder in the first ten casts. The fish pounded my WeedSlinger swim bait in about 4ft of water, hit it like a real toad. After that it was slow going. Threw everything from shallow to deep water. Fished weed lines to flooded timber with no luck. It was about 6-7 hrs later when my partner stuck a 7.9 ponder at the end of the day. We tried to stay away from the muddy water and find water that was just stained. It is hard to do but you will find water the has about 6 inches more visibility that most of the muddy stuff flowing in the river right now. First fish was in about 4ft of water, the seconded was in about 1 ft of water. Not the best day but I will take those two good fish any day.
City: StocktonTips: Fish like a die hard, the bite you get are good ones

Water Temp: 52
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished out of Paradise today and not one nibble. Talked to 3 different guys as they came in and only one caught fish. After watching this damn Seal eat this 8lber and then finish off his day with what looked like a 5lber I kind of know where the fish went. This Seal must have staked out his territory from Paradise all the way down to White Slough. Is there anyway to get rid of a pest like that? Attention Fish and Game if you are reading this, that thing is ruining the Fishing for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We threw everything you can possibly offer and then some and not one nibble. Went down Disappointment, White and beyond and saw nothing but Muddy water. The water was High too.

Water Temp: 53.5
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Checked out Disappointment Slough and White Slough yesterday but the water is just too dirty to catch anything without hitting it on the head... I caught only one bass and it was small (probably under 1 pound). Today I visited Sycamore Slough and the water was much clearer and warmer. No luck though but it won't be long now... March is right around the corner and the weather has been consistantly fantastic.
City: SacramentoTips: It's brutal out there, but anything beats staying home!
