Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: This report will be kicked off by cooch or his buddies . Fished around coochies' house because he always dumps a bunch of big ones there. Sure enough the fish were not hard to get. I would estimate a limit about 17 pounds. Not very big weight, but I can use the info for a culling tool later on for a tourney. Deep with shade with 8'' inch drop shot in margaritta.
    City: sac

Tips: Think of his area as a bass factory.

    Water Temp: 77

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of Dissapointment at 0600 hours. Air temp 74 degrees, wind 5 mph out of the north and water temp at 77 deg. As I was approaching the marina I saw what looked like fog and I said no way. When I arrived at the marina everything and everybody were covered with insectecide from a farmer who was crop dusting everything in sight. Boat, truck and myself completed covered with a powderey substance. Not sure if he missed his mark or if it was done on purpose. Decided to fish for 6 hrs. Fished Mildred and started off with swimbait and immediately hooked into a 3.5 lber. Next cast a huge blowup but no hook up and I didn't even get a chance to see the fish. No more blowups on swimbait. Decided to throw crankbait and hooked 3 more fish a couple of 2 lbers and then a 5lber. It appears that fish are settling into their summer pattern. Lots of pleasure boats on the water so be careful.Best 5 may have gone 13lbs.
    City: EDH

Tips: Crankbaits and swimbaits worked for me today.Be careful of crop dusters and pleasure boaters.

    Water Temp: 69-75

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: We had a tough day on Sunday. Worked some deeper points and flats and could only scare up a few small fish. Moved to several locations but still not much action. Water was murky and the wind was blowing hard. I threw an AC 7" swimbait most of the day with no takers. My partner caught some fish on a brown and orange jig with a watermelon/red Big Mama trailer. He also caught about a 4 with Junebug brush hog. I had one nice fish on a crankbait that jumped off and a few smaller ones. Best 5 about 11 pounds, no help from me.
    City: Concord

Tips: No tips this time around, Delta got the best of us Sunday.

Report: Hit disco, Had 2 limits in a hour. Sinkos were the ticket. Only down spot was when a resident yuppy started yelling we were to close to his empty dock. Was actually pulling out a snag full of lines and hooks out of water. should have left it there for his feet to find. blew lower unit, but that didnt make as mad as the yuppy.
    City: Sacramento

Tips: Check your braided line, nicks break easy. re-tie often.

    Water Temp: 72-74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Slower than most trips that I was accustomed to on the delta. This place makes people take fishing granted sometimes. fished from 7:30 to 12:00 and hooked up with 20+ fish or so (for both of us). Battled against others for spots to fish that were in a tournament. I don't mind sharing water, but when I come up to a spot and start pulling up fish, and another boat fishing the opposite side of the bank pulls up their trolling motor and jams over to my side of the bank (200 ft ahead of me) and starts fishing...that ticks me off. I understand that you're in a tourney and you need fish, but PLEASE...there is still etiquette a$$h0le. perhaps i'm wrong for being mad, but does that seem right to get cut off 200 ft esp if your approaching a hole that has lots of structure and you wanted to approach it slowly?

Anyways, wind was blowing all day so it stirred up the water. Big boat traffic plus 15-20 mph winds made it hard to control the boat. best 5 went about 14.5 lbs. Caught majority of fish on traps. lots of hits on senkos, but fish were smaller.
    City: el cerrito

Tips: Parallel rock banks that have isolated tullie brush. Di-sect all isolated structures and fish them slowly. Fish are bunched up and you can pull 2-3 fish on one piece of structure. Also look irregularities on the banks...any rock piles that stick out more so than the others around it usually hold fish as well.

Tips: Craws work great this time of year for the big ones, they is kinda picky.

    Water Temp: 78

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: we put in late at orwood, started fishing right away at discovery bay around the corner and pulled a few decent sized fish off of senkos and spinnerbaits. the wind was brutal let alone the other boats coming and going every couple minutes, but we managed to withstand it for a couple more fish. we tried froggin around bacon island and franks tract, but only one blow-up, nothing else. they didnt quite seem to want frogs yet. chartreuse senkos seemed to produce most of the fish along with a white spinnerbait. we spent the night at our 'secret spot' fishing for catfish throughout the night with clams and jumbo minnows. we caught at least 50 1-2lb catfish along with a 10lb bullhead at 430am. we also caught a 3lb bass earlier on a minnow as well. the morning bite produced some fish with a buzzbait and superspook, then by the time the tide brought the fish out of the tules we went back to senkos. i threw on a luckycraft chrome blue rattler and got a fish on the first cast. eventually the wind stopped us and we had not choice but to call it a trip. the bass weren't as big as i was hoping, but it was still good overall.
    City: Placerville

Tips: Chartreuse senkos, chartreuse/white spinnerbaits, spooks, buzzbaits and brush hogs all worked well.
The conditions aren't on the fisherman's side yet, but it should get a lot better within the next couple weeks. Try a spot you like and don't give up until your 100% sure.

    Water Temp: 78

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of Rivers End Marina at 0600 and the wind was already howling. I have not fished the Delta in the last 90 days and the water has really warmed up. Headed up past Clifton forebay and pulled into a cut with houses. Started with a Spook and got 10 surface fish with the biggest over 5 lbs. At 8:30 decided as I was solo to head up to Discovery Bay and do some exploring. I have only been there once and then in a small area. Must have spent 2hrs just idling around and exploring. Did catch another 25 fish under and around the docks. The fish wanted only black curly tailed plastic worms teas rigged. some were at the back of the docks where there was shade and some were at the ends in 8 to 10 feet of water. The bigger fish ( 3-4lbs) were at the back of the docks shallow. Wind howled all day and made even fishing the docks in discovery bay hard to do. Then the Wakeboard boats made the run back dangerous. They really need to have a limit to wake size, and driver training required. All in all a good day. Pulled out at 4pm.
    City: brisbane

Tips: Keep trying different colors, places, and lure types as the day progress's.

    Water Temp: 72-76

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Started out in Taylor Slough. Had a nice swimbait bite in the early morning throwing into Tule pockets. Couple of solid 4's and one real nice fish came unbuttoned. Partner was catching some nice fish on a spinnerbait with another solid 4. Reaction bite shut down for us around 8 A.M. Swithed to 8 inch platic snake and creature baits letting them drift inside the weedline near rocks. We caught about 10 more fish by 9:30 on the snakes. Set on one and thought I was snagged in the weeds but it started to move then jumped once and I yelled for my buddy to get the net. Real nice fish. Bite shut down about 10 for us. We moved toward Piper Slough and finished in Sandmound. Two more small fish for me but my parter pitched up under a shady dock and hooked into another real nice fish. The bite was so good in the morning we didn't take the time to pull the scale out. We guessed the best 5 to be about 23.
    City: Concord

Tips: Basstrix Blue Back Herring swimbait on Sworming Hornet underspin got a lot of action in the early morning. White with red spinnerbait gold blades also did well. Caught the two largest fish on 8 inch snake. Fish seemed stacked up on points in 8-12' of water for us.

    Water Temp: 73

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Past few weeks have really been keying in on how to locate fish and find solid limits (2-3 lbers) most of you laugh at those small sizes, but from what I'm used to, catching these size fish consistently is a huge boost to my confidence. Now just have to work on landing the 6 lbs and up type fish. 4 straight wkds of fishing i've been able to boat 25+ myself, while my dad has only been able to boat 8-10 fish each trip. he was determined to beat me this time around, so he went out a bought the same lures that I've been killing him with. i decided to change it up and use different colors and styles. needless to say i caught 15 keepers to his 9, along with the big fish that weighed about 5.5 lbs. wind beat us up, but fishing was still good considering the weather. Damn is fishing addictive!!! Now if i can only figure out how to catch bigger and better bass more consistently.
    City: EC

Tips: Fish are schooled up, work the outside of a spot that you "feel" has fish, and slowly work your way towards it. This way you dont scare away the other fish holding in that same area as easily. bigger fish are definitley holding deeper around 8-15 ft. kut tail worms are a GOD SEND!!!! TIGHT LINES!!!

    Water Temp: 72-77

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Got an early start, on the water at 5:30. Fished Dutch and Taylor Sloughs in the early hours. No top water action for us. Found some fish in 8-10 feet of water off rocks with spinnerbaits. Partner had about a 4 on Spinnerbait. Several more small fish and moved to Frank's Track. Not much shallow water action at all. At 11:30 made a move for some deeper water docks in 12-16 feet. Game on. Caught several quality fish on large brush hog, Big Mama'a and 8 inch snake. Biggest fish just a bit over 7. Lost a giant while using a Roboworm Sour Puss under shady dock. Real heart breaker. Best 5 today around 22.
    City: Concord

Tips: Bigger fish were in deeper water for us. With bright blue skies they moved up under docks.
