    Water Temp: 81.5 - 85

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Headed out to do a boat/trollin motor ops check, and all was good thank goodness. Ofcourse brought a few rods I headed back towards the rock creek and fished the Island area instead since water levels are down a ways. I cranked a dink spot, hooked up with another one, but came unbuttoned before I could get it in the boat. Around 1125 it was really hot, so I moved up the river arm and drop shotted a gulp minnow for a 10" smallie, a new one for me? Then 1145 came around and could not keep the sweat out of my eyes, and called it a day.
    City: Yuba City

Tips: The water is definitley a tad cooler in the river arm, and better clarity as well. Watch out for swimmers out in the middle of the boating channels almost ran over three of them, I ended up giving the a ride back to the dock from across the first main lake point diagnol to the left from the boat dock! They wanted to swim over and back just to see if they could do it, of the four only one made it back, the other three were almost victims of my prop. I shut it down about 60' away from them.

    Water Temp: 67-73

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I was on the water at 0615. Spent the first hour or so trying to get a topwater bite or reaction bite without a single strike. Saw a lot of fish at 18 feet. Started using dropshot and jigs and caught about 40 dinks. I might of had five keepers. I found a flat on the east side of the lake that was loaded with bait. The fish were in 10-17 ft. I tried using bigger baits and ran all over the lake. I just found school after school of small fish. It was fun and I learned a lot about my new graph
    City: Citrus Heights

Tips: The only area I did not try was the rock creek arm.

    Water Temp: 71

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Couldnt get a top water bite going. Lake was PACKED! Worse then Folsom! First time fishing this lake in a year and a half. All in all caught 23 spots. ALL dinks! Does this lake have any big fish in it? I was throwin a six inch senko. Fish were sooo small could only get about 50% hooked up. Colors were green pumkin and smoke. Whats the point in going to Oroville. This lake has just as many dinks. If I go again it will be during a week day.

    Tips: Watch your line!

    Water Temp: 70-75

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Managed to make it out 2 days this week. Went out on Sunday and got to fish a few hours before the biggest rain storm i had ever seen came through and soaked me from head to toe!Sun- Starting fishing at around 4:30 in the after noon..Lots of boat traffic so headed to some back copves for calmer water...Found 74 degree water and starting throwing spooks right off the bat, caught 8 fish in about 45 minutes including a 6.7 pound largemouth.Caught a few more on a shakey head then the rain came. then on 5-06 hit the water at about 1:00 p.m. and off at 8:30 and caught at least 40 fish but NOTHING over 2 pounds. caught them on dropshot, shakey head, spook, senkos, and a few on cranks. Most fish were shallow(under 8 feet) but did catch fish in up to 18 ft. the fish were schooled up big time. If you found one you more then likely found 8 or 10 fish. mainly fished sloping banks with small rock. Concentrated on flats..Saw a lot of fish cruising but they were very skittish. All main body.
    City: Yuba City

Tips: Fish are VERY active...Really no need to fish very slow. Fish were chasing bait and seemed to be agreesive. Fish up tight, and look for shade if you can...Mudlines created by wakeboarding boats are clutch for senko fishing too.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Gonna be getting back down there in about 3 weeks, just wanted to shoot out an invite to anyone for a little fun fishing over the summer. I know I talked to a few of you before...the new truck is towing good and the BassTracker is primed and ready to get back to the valley waters! I'll be getting out there at least 2-3 times week (usually afternoons and weekends)

For those of you who have been out there recently... What's the water level (will there be any by July?!) any specific bites turning on yet, (Rat-L-Traps, Jigs, etc) What the water temp doing? Any info would be appreciated!

Shoot me an email or pm off the forum.

    All the best,

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Some of the water you can see 5-10 ft deep. Tom Erickson and I fished Saturday and Sunday staying in the North Shore Camp Ground with some friends. The wind came up for each morning but the bass were biting. We started out with cranks and ripping, no takes. Jigs in Brown/Purple got some in 15-20 ft. Most of the bass are still waiting to spawn and some have. The bass are spooky along the banks. Saw no beds yet.
Drop shot in front of the dam just at the drop off point 25 ft, just full of small bass in 1-1 1/2 lb. Go up the Rock Creek and use a Fluke (white) with a small weight and let it fall slow along the banks. Use a small weight on the drop-shot and a Pro Worm Leach, can't miss.
    City: Rocklin

Tips: Look for the bait and big stacks of fish.

    Water Temp: 53-56

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out to get the boat on the water before it sets for a while, and ofcourse cast a line or two. Went back into RC and it was accessible but still a tad on the shallow side on the left bank, water very clear, could see down to the bottom, from about 7' of water. Had heard that cranks were working last week, but no takers for me today. I worked the damn and a few points, no reaction, no jigs, did get bit on a shakey head 3 x's but could not set in time. It is good to se the lake up though, looks like it could come up around another four feet, and another five degrees and things will start to get pretty darn good.
    City: yuba city

Tips: None for today, cept just be patient and have fun out there before the boarders and ski boats come out and infest the place.
