    Water Temp: warm

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out from 7-10 am with my brother again. Really had to work to catch 12 bass between the both of us. Several were 10-12 inches long but all were fat and healthy. One big one was about 2.5#. The blue sky and warm weather drove the fish deep. No bites on topwater baits, no spinner bait bite. We started tossing shad colored grubs and started catching them but we kept switching colors between blue pearl/black flake or smoke/silver grubs.
    City: San Jose

Tips: C-rig grubs or swim the grubs after initial drop

    Water Temp: warm

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out from 7-10 am with my brother. Caught about 18 between the both of us, up to 1.5#. Started out throwing topwater baits with blue/chrome poppers. Caught a majority of fish about 8 and had lots of blow-ups. Topwater bite died about 8am. Then started throwing shad colored grubs and jerkbaits. Landed some nice ones on the jerkbaits. Then around 8:30 the reaction bite died and we started dragging jigs on the bottom for a couple more fish. Another guy in a float tube landed some nice fish about 4 up to 1.5# crawling a jig while we there. He said all the fish came in about 15' of water.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Follow the bait. Once the bait moves so do the fish.

Report: Went out tubing, started around mid-day. Fished around the boat launch and in the cove directly across the lake. Had a good day with plenty of small fish, largest was around two pounds. Caught all my fish on blades and traps. There is some nice fish in here, you just have to get in the 15-20 ft range. Great place to crank, and burn blades. Lots of fish along the rocky points.
    City: san jose

Tips: blades, traps - try some jigs too. Saw people banging out fish while drop shotting. I'm sure a purple roboworm would clean house. Very easy to have a 20+ fish day.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Was at the lake 6am-9am by the diner area. The water level look shallow and saw alot of fish jumping. Fishing on the shore using popper-R, rooster tail spinner and live bait(nightcrawlers). But no bite. Man, these darn fish are hard to catch. Haven't caught a fish at this lake yet. Any suggestion? which part of lake is good spot?

Report: snagged me a few largies on a double leafed spinner, pretty good reaction bite. You have to get your spinner to the bottom, try a kneel and reel technique, that seemed to produce. Fish were in the 1-2# range. Caught four that were about eight inches, the damn lure was as big as them.
    City: san jose

    Tips: rat-l-traps and blades!

Report: Fished Chesbro for a couple of hours in the morning. Lake is full. Caught 6 small bass on Texas Rigged 4" Robo Worms. We saw hundreds of small bass cruising the shore line. Biggest one in the boat was about 1.5 lbs. Most were 10"-12".

Report: Fished or about an hour caught only 1 bass that weighed about a pound or so. Fished with a Rapala the whole time and caught the ish about 2 eet away rom the shore. Nice Lake but it was very windy with the storm coming through. Never ished here beore but it seems like the only way to catch something here would be with a crank bait or a spinnerbait. Theres a lot o wood on the shoreline.

Tips: CrankBait.... ocus on a certain area and keep throwing it there. you will piss o the ish and get bit.

Report: Fished it 3 days in a row and basically could not get the bigger ish to bite. The little ones are hitting my big baits and swallowing them. There is just too much shad and little bass to keep the big ones ull.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Maybe try using 10+ inch baits.
