Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished channel point today and caught one bass 2lbs on a bed on a brown, black, pumkin jig. My brohter caught its partner on a texas rigged senko. Went to the boat dock and found another couple bigger though.
City: antiochTips: Use scent on lures. When I was fishing the bass didint even look at my lure until I put scent. Also seems that the bass I've seen are in front of tules so the wind cant hit them in small pockets.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished from 2-6pm with my new pontoon boat/trolling motor....kick ass fun. Made a few new aquaintances...good fun was had by all...everyone seemed to be getting into fish. Nice job, Bo, catching the big ones today. I only managed 3 bass between 2 and 4 lbs. and one nice trout on a crankbait. At least they are where they are supposed to be right now. One bass and the trout fell for a medium running crankbait and the others on a wacky rigged senko.
City: AntiochTips: fish the tullies....you'll see them rubbing against them as the make their way to the shore.

Report: Went back out after a horrible morning. I decided to go out on shore and try my evening luck. Well it paid off. Got my first bass of the year! It was a solid 3lb, with a gut. Not big, but I was super stoked. Also got a 7lb trout. All on my new fav. crank- Rapala DT shad.
City: AntiochTips: Still was working slow, but I added some twitching.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Hey Kyle, my son and I will be there Sunday. Most likely by 6:00. It may be tough as this post front condition may make it tougher than normal, but I have a great spot that usually produces at sunrise on the west side. I'm thinking of tubing the lake but not sure yet. Let me know how you did today. I may hit the lake tonite if the wind dies down. I have caught a few monster stripers on BIG swimbaits at this time of year after dark.
City: AntiochTips: Post front may make drop shotting or shakey heads the ticket just off shore. Jerkbaits with long pauses may kill 'em also if they decide to feed on the shad...I've been seeing a lot of shad dimpling the surface lately.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Hey Kyle...yeah, I have seen you up at the lake. I also fish from a water skeeter "day tripper" from time to time, but do MUCH better from shore as I get most of my big bed fish between shore and brush piles in less than 2' of water. I will give you a shout next time I see you as I am there at least 4 days a week during the spawn. As for Alex and PJ...Sorry, I'm not sure I remember you guys...my apologies. There was another Tom that used to fish Loma that went into the Coast guard...could be him ar maybe I'm losing my memory as I get older. Anyway, if I do know you guys, please jog my memory as I am always willing to talk "Contra Loma". I been hammering this lake hard for 6 years and I think I finally have it figured out. Good luck to all and I will see you as I creep the shoreline.
City: AntiochTips: Big jigs = big bass any time now!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Tough bite today. Lost 1 basstrix...never saw her but felt some awesome head shake before she came unbuttoned. almost felt like a striper. Managed 1 Bass at the end of the day off the boat ramp of all places. Fish fell for a drop shot thrown straight out....it went about 4 lbs. Still couldn't manage any jig fish up in the tules, but I think we're getting very close.
City: AntiochTips: Drop shot or shakey heads in watermelon/red flake should be the ticket for now. I thought jerk baits might do the job, but no takers.
